Our friends are new fans of Patty’s – We took these over for dessert to our friends house. They had never eaten Patty’s yummy treats before and their eyes lite up at the first bite! I’ve been ordering cakes from patty since 1995! ( When she worked out of her kitchen at home.) The very first cake I ordered was a baby shower cake for my daughter, who was expecting her first baby, & my first grandchild. (It was a girl!). I continued ordering birthday cakes for my granddaughters birthdays for years! And continued ordering after my son got married & began having kids of his own. I just finished placing an order for that my first born granddaughter who will be 25 yrs old, and for her graduation from nursing school as well !!She is now a NICU nurse, and there’s no better way to celebrate a joyous occasion, than having a cake from Patty’s Cakes!

My family got a birthday (Birthday confetti cake) cake from here not too long ago.. wow!!! So delicious and perfectly moist. Probably one of the best cake we’ve had in a while and that’s saying a lot since my huge family is constantly celebrating someone or something. Definitely coming back to try the other flavors!

I was making a wedding cake for my nephew and now niece, but as I live in LA and the wedding was in Anaheim, I needed “backup” – that is, two half-sheet cakes to make up for what I had no room in my home refrigerators or the venue.
I went to Patty’s about 5 weeks before the wedding, and Bethany could not have been nicer or more helpful. She understood exactly what I needed and was extremely professional and kind about ordering the cakes to my exact specifications (devil’s food cake, chocolate mousse and raspberry jam filling, and white mousse icing with no decoration and just beading on the edges). Their prices are very fair, they deliver for a modest fee (and deliver promptly as promised), and they are altogether the best and most professional bakery I’ve worked with in a long time – in or out of Orange County.
Oh yeah – the cakes were delicious too (in fact, I’m sort sorry I didn’t just let them make the entire cake – would have been much easier on me!). Patty’s is a gem, and a must for anyone looking for a great celebration cake. Thanks so much to Patty’s and their great staff!
