The cupcakes here are amazing! My friend told me about this place. They have cake balls, whole cakes, cookies etc. This is my new go-to place. They even ice the cupcakes when you place the order. Better than sprinkles any day.

I am super pleased with the service I received from Patty’s Cakes! I live out of state and wanted to send cupcakes to my daughter for her birthday. They were incredible working with me coordinating what I wanted, having them delivered, and even adding a bow and a card! I appreciate them so much. Then when I saw the pictures of what they looked like I was even more impressed. They were even bigger and fancier than what the website showed. I highly recommend them and will make a stop at the shop next time I’m in So. California. THANK YOU!!!

Our wedding cake was delicious!!! We had fun at the tasting. My husband got so into the appointment, he actually designed the entire cake… flavors and all. There was more than enough cake for everyone but there wasn’t a single piece left after the reception. The best part is that we didn’t need to save the top tier. One, it takes up space in the freezer and we had never intended to save it. But also, Patty’s Cake will give us a complimentary anniversary cake. They will bake a 6” round double layer cake in honor of our anniversary and the cake does not need to match our original order. Can’t wait! We will definitely be stopping by for cupcakes and other special occasion cakes.

We ordered our wedding cake from Patty’s Cakes and Desserts and we couldn’t be happier.
When we first went in for tasting, I was very surprised how the cake (cupcakes for tasting) wasn’t sweet and so moist. I am not a cake person and to be honest, I wasn’t even planning on eating my wedding cake (yikes) of course, maybe just a bite for the picture, but after the tasting, it completely changed my mind. I was planning on ordering macaroons from another place, but I changed my mind to have mini cupcakes at the wedding instead (for dessert table) and ordered a 9 dozen variety. I’ve received so many compliments of the wedding cake and the cupcakes from my wedding. They were absolutely delicious!!! Can’t wait to eat my anniversary cake!!

Patty’s Cakes are amazing!!! I was referred by our wedding venue to Patty’s Cakes when I did more research, I saw that they had great reviews and that I wouldn’t be disappointed! And I wasn’t!! By far, the best decision I made for our wedding! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious the cake was! It was moist, tasty, and the whipped cream was real whip cream! I absolutely loved the design of our cake, it was so beautiful! The staff was enjoyable to work with, very efficient and took care in making their products.

This place is amazing!! The cupcakes are so rich but not too sweet. The lemon one is just divine but the red velvet is heavenly! And the cream cheese frosting is to die for!! I ordered here for my friend’s bridal shower and I can’t wait for people to try them!! On top of great products, the staff is friendly and the place is very clean! (They just moved to this new location). Highly, highly recommend.

I love this place my favorite cupcake is the Elvis: it is the perfect combination of sweet and salty. The cake part is so moist you can taste the banana and the peanut butter mouse cream is just the best, and the bacon adds another delicious layer. My whole family has their favorite cupcake my hubby loves the bag o cake. Totally recommend this place.

I went to this place because my friend saw it on Yelp, so why not? The place was not difficult to find and I love the bright colors inside the store, but there is limited parking. They have a nice display of product, but I would like to see more of the cupcakes. No cupcakes were on display because they make it as you order and as a customer you want to see what variety of flavors they offer instead of looking at pictures. The place is very clean and organized and the prices are reasonable. However, as far as the product we bought, some cupcake icing needs to be a bit sweeter, but the pina colada coconut cupcake was DELISH!! I want to come back and try other flavors, but the pina colada is the one I’m coming for.

Every so often you just need a treat and Patty’s provides. I’m slowly working my way down the menu card – slowly because Chocolate fudge is my Kryptonite and I cannot resist. The Lemon Drop was epic with lemon filling and a lemon drop on top.

If you need a cake for a special occasion or if you just feel like treating the family to a special dessert, run, don’t walk, over to Patty’s Cakes’ cute new location on Commonwealth. I ordered 2 special 10″ two layer cakes for an impromptu engagement/wedding party – on fairly short notice, and was so pleased with the taste and appearance of the cakes.
Patty was a delight to work with – I left the design of the cake up to her and was more than satisfied with the end result. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Their bakery case featured delicious cake balls …. and they served Thrifty ice cream and Illy coffee. Stop by and treat yourself! It’s worth the trip over there.

I’ve ordered Patty’s cakes since Patty was making them from home, she made my kid’s first birthday/smash cake. Honestly, I have never been disappointed!! Having ordered cakes from Patty’s on a number of occasions I can honestly say I have yet to have one that did not have the best quality. The cakes are flavorful and never dry. Most of all they are not heavily sugar-laden. Compared to other places I do not find them to be overpriced in fact, I find the prices to be fair. I find Patty the owner to be warm, charming and bent on making sure you get your money’s worth. In fact, she goes out of her way to make sure you are happy with your purchase.

I always come to Patty’s Cakes when I want to celebrate a birthday, graduation, or something special. The cupcakes are all delicious. I’ve tried other places, but there’s no place like Patty’s. We ordered 5 dozen assorted cupcakes for our sons 1st birthday party this past weekend and it was also our first time here as well. Their cupcakes are beyond delicious!! And they were a hit at his party, everyone loved them! They are kinda pricey – we paid 165 for 5 dozen – but honestly, they were worth it. I know we could have gotten a cake or cupcakes cheaper somewhere else, however, these were the perfect portion, sweetness and texture all the way around. Their icing and fillings were airy and not too rich and thick as some cupcakes can be. They have a variety of flavors and they all are amazing. My favorite though was the Neapolitan. Yum!
The only hiccup was we asked for the sprinkles on the side (for the vanilla ones) as sometimes the sprinkles can bleed into the icing and we had to serve them the next day, and the pastry artist missed the note and put sprinkles on them. She was very apologetic and went back and replaced them with fresh cupcakes and put the sprinkles in a plastic container for us. And their store is absolutely adorable inside. Thank you Patty’s Cakes for making our sons first birthday a sweet one! We will be coming back soon!

Cupcakes: I only had their cupcakes but it’s enough to give them 5 stars. The cupcakes themselves are super moist and if you get the flavored batters, you won’t be disappointed. I really enjoyed The Elvis cupcake which had the delicious and moist banana cake with a creamy peanut butter topping and to add extra saltiness to the cupcake, they topped it with thick bacon pieces.
Service: I was confused when there weren’t any cupcakes on display but I was impressed that they actually frost your cupcakes as you order so that the frosting stays soft and creamy. The workers are also super friendly and they carefully package your order.
Prices: I thought it was quite affordable especially for their specialty cupcakes. They also have a yelp deal where you can redeem 1 cupcake when you buy at least 3.

My husband and I love the lemon cake with raspberry filling!!!
We used Patty’s Cakes for our wedding. Unfortunately, there was a mistake with our wedding cake and we were very disappointed. We do understand that mistakes happen but it was a bummer! We got a 4 tier cake with 4 different flavors and the fillings got mixed up. However, when we explained this to Phillip after our wedding, he was very sorry and made it up to us! I was blown away by his apologies and willingness to make it right. That is what customer service is all about!
I would highly recommend Patty’s Cakes to all my friends and family! And I will be getting a graduation cake from them next month. :)

We got a four-tier white cake with custard from Patty’s Cakes for our wedding and it was AMAZING! The decorations they did were beautiful (and our florist made it even more beautiful). Anyway, on to what’s really important — the taste. The cake was so moist and tasted exactly like the cupcakes we had during our tasting. Our guests loved it and we even had some guests ask for second servings. We had our top tier and half of our second tier left over and we finished ALL THE LEFTOVERS within a week of the wedding. It was too good!
The service is great and they’re very easy going. We had our tasting in February and booked them before we even left the shop and sent them our final guest count and payment in late March. Pretty easy.

May 16th experience was way different then my 1st time there, customer service was friendly and fast no waiting and got what we ordered, the best part was eating the banana cupcake, wow so delicious. We could not have been happier with the outcome of our wedding cake! If there were more stars to give I would gladly give Patty’s Cakes more! Patty and Philip were both a delight in helping us pick out the cake size and flavor. When I saw it on our wedding day I felt that this was the best feature at our venue! At the tasting, we knew right away that our guests would fight over it. Haha!
I asked a few guests during the wedding how they liked the cake and all raved about it. Some said they ate it slow to savor it and others asked if there was any more hidden away.
My favorite guest response was “I loved it! I had 4 more slices to be sure!”

This place is great! Our wedding cake was beautiful and all of our guests enjoyed it. This is a great place for cakes for Asian weddings, without the super sweet buttercream frosting, but better designs. I really recommend this place for your wedding cake.
