Pat-a-cake, Pat-a-cake, bakers man, bake me a cake as fast as you can!
I saw the pictures of the cake balls and I NEEDED one! I only tried two of the cake balls but the S’Mores cake ball was enough to win me over forever. 5 stars! I also tried the Confetti cake ball which was good but not as good as the S’Mores. This place is so far from my house but when I’m in the area I will most definitely stop in.
This place is pricey so consider buying just a few treats, they run a few dollars a cake ball. Next time I will definitely try one of the cupcakes. They had so many choices I was a bit overwhelmed. If I hadn’t had donuts earlier I probably would’ve given one of the cupcakes a shot.
The cake balls were pretty big so a few will probably fill you up! If you live close feel free to bring me one!

Everything from the beginning to the end was perfect! I got married on 1/23/16 and I couldn’t have asked for more. I had a very simple idea in mind and wanted to use flowers and a special topper. Well, the topper was too big but they made it work perfectly! The cake was delivered seamlessly to our venue and was the exact design I had imagined. Plus the taste of the cake was super! I had a ton of compliments on both the design and the taste. If you are wondering who to hire as your wedding cake bakery, definitely go with Patty’s Cakes! (Besides, isn’t the name just so cute??)

These cupcakes are really good. I normally hate sweet because they are just too sugary. Patty’s cupcakes are light and the frosting is as well. They don’t make you go on to sugar shock. I also like how they wait to frost the cupcake until it is ordered so you are getting fresh frosting. Not a cupcake that has been sitting out all day. Very good and we will be back.

Came here after work last week with a sweet tooth. I ordered three cupcakes and received one for free thanks to Yelp. I ordered two red velvet with cream cheese mousse, one white with vanilla mousse, and one butter pecan cupcake with apple filling. The cupcakes are a great size and very moist to my surprise. They definitely know how to make an amazing cupcake. They are also very helpful and professional. This place will definitely be my new go-to for cupcakes.

We chose Patty’s cakes for our wedding day and this had to be the best wedding cake we have ever tasted. We were so pleased with the service which we were provided. When we went in for our tasting, Patty came out personally to make sure all our questions were answered and gave us an insight of each of the flavors. The cake we chose was a red velvet cake with a milk chocolate moose. It was so delicious. We can’t wait for our 1 year anniversary so we can taste our wedding cake again. It’s the moistest cake and we can’t thank them enough for providing such great a great cake on our special day.

While my now husband and I were shopping for wedding cakes, we were having such a hard time finding a reasonable bakery with great taste. Most places were outrageously expensive for having little to no flavor at all. Honestly, I think we tried at least 10 different places and we were disappointed with each other. I remember talking to my mother about not being able to find a cake and she googles cake places in Orange County and Patty’s Cakes was the first to pop up. I know this may sound odd but most Asian cultures prefer a flavorful but light on the sweet taste. I didn’t think Patty’s Cakes would fit our taste but boy oh boy was I wrong! My husband and I were BLOWN AWAY by how moist and flavorful the cake and cream cheese frosting was. To top it off, it wasn’t at all overly sweet! We felt like we hit the jackpot. We promptly ordered our four tiered wedding cake on the spot and we were able to pay it all up front because of how inexpensive it was (within our budget). Here I was thinking we would be paying close to $1k for a four to five-tiered cake and we were amazed to find out we would be coming in under budget at around $700. I know it isn’t by any means cheap BUT you get great value for the cost. There aren’t any words to express how grateful we are to have found Patty and her bakery. We recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great cake. :)

A friend just brought me 2 cupcakes today knowing that I had little to no faith anymore in cupcake places. Most places have WAY too much frosting and it’s so sweet that I end up scraping half of it off and leaving it. And then the cake is so dense that it’s not even enjoyable. These 2 cupcakes I had today, however, have me rethinking my whole idea of a cupcake The cake was moist (AWESOME!) and the frosting was so tasty – not too sweet and flavorful. The best part — these cupcakes had been in the fridge for 2 days and left sitting out for about 8 hours before I ate them and the cake was still moist and the frosting didn’t get a hard layer on the top that was exposed to the air. SO GOOD!! I will definitely make the trip to this place when I can =)

From the tasting (fun, relaxed, DELICIOUS) to the wedding day, Patty’s Cakes was amazing. I’ve been to enough weddings with sub-par cakes that I started to expect that to be pretty standard. My fiance and I were actually shocked at how good their cake was at the tasting. We went with a totally different flavor than expected. On the wedding day, the cake was delivered quickly, easily, and on time, it looked gorgeous and fun and tasted awesome. ZERO complaints about this awesome bakery.

We chose Patty’s Cakes simply because it was free with our package from the venue, but just because it didn’t cost anything, doesn’t mean that their quality was any less underrated! I had tasted other vendors at the Bridal Show and honestly, Patty’s cakes topped them all. If your number one priority in choosing a cake vendor is the taste of the cake, then look no further! The frosting on the outside is light and not too sweet; we chose the banana cake (so moist!) and peanut butter mousse filling! It’s seriously amazing! The guy who helped us was very friendly as well, I never felt like I was making a compromise just because it came with the package.

The perfect centerpiece for my reception! Patty’s Cakes was not my first choice… I wanted to use a bakery closer to home… but after a horrid cake tasting … I started reading reviews and found this gem of a bakery I admit I am NOT the easiest bride to work with…. I changed my first appointment time and had to be squeezed in… I live outside their delivery area… and I wanted a style that they could only do with fondant… which they don’t do… but they were patient with me, worked within my crazy schedule, and agreed to deliver my beautiful cake… and they STILL came in a couple of hundred dollars less than the yucky local bakery I had originally wanted. My cake was wonderous. We had two flavors and they were both delicious. Nothing but compliments on the look… it sat on its own table in the center of our reception so everyone could enjoy it before we demolished it. I cannot say enough good things about this place, if you are getting married and want the best of the best, then you are crazy if you go anywhere else!

Delicious and beautiful! Patty and her entire staff were warm and helpful. She didn’t “nickel and dime” us for frosting designs, and she was very patient with my stepmom and I while we tasted. She wasn’t forceful or pushy with up-selling, and we ended up with a beautiful, budget-friendly, vintage-inspired, two-tier fun-fetti white cake with fudge filling – just what I wanted! I am a sweet lover, so you could just imagine how important selecting the right wedding cake was for me. At first, I had a different vendor whom I had so many problems with. The previous vendor canceled my cake tasting appointment 4 times and never responded to my calls; to this day they never apologized or explained that they would cancel their services. However, I am glad the first vendor canceled without explanation because I would not have had the privilege to have Patty’s Cakes for my wedding. On the other hand, Patty’s Cakes exceeded my expectations. Our cake tasting appointment was so memorable. They facilitated a broad selection of cake flavor, fillings, and explained to us the options of design and set-up. Patty was so sweet, supportive, and full of excitement which made our experience worthwhile. Now, our wedding day was incredible. Our guest enjoyed the chocolate and banana cake with raspberry filling (sounds incredible right! Well it was). My husband and I were planning our wedding with a tight budget, but I am thankful that Patty’s Cakes gives you the option of having a tiered cake and additional sheets for less of a cost. We had a 3 tier cake with additional sheets since our party was for 250 guests. The employees are very professional and not to mention Patty, she is passionate about what she does and it is evident in the way she treats her customers. Thank you to Patty and her team!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! I met Phillip at Villa Del Sol during their Winter Open House. We fell in love with their samples almost instantly. So my husband and I knew we were going to book them for our wedding.
Our wedding was a year away and till then we were buying cupcakes and cakes from them because of how delicious and inexpensive they are.
When it came to our cake tasting we had Phillip and he was the best at being professional, helping make our wedding cake personal, and making the experience overall a good one to remember.
The day of my wedding everyone loved the cake! Even friends and family who aren’t fans of cake loved it. I definitely recommend this place for all types of events or just to enjoy some good cupcakes.
