Yesterday was my first time visiting Patty’s bakery. I planned to order a cake online in advance but didn’t have time to. I arrived around 6pm and the sign indicated that they were closed due to a wedding consultation. But Patty opened the store for me and was very accommodating. I’m so happy that she let me in to purchase a ready to go 8″ red velvet cake. I’m not familiar with the area and didn’t know where else to go so she definitely made my day! The cake was amazing and she also made time to write a personal message on the cake even though she was in the middle of a consultation. I want to say thank you Patty for your service. I will for sure be back to order any other birthday cakes or desserts in the future! Best experience ever!

We came here for my birthday treats and it surpassed our expectations! My girlfriend has Celiacs disease so we were super excited when we found this place with gluten free options! Had the eclair and it won me over. I don’t need the donut version anymore when I can have a perfectly moist, not overly-sweet cupcake that tastes more delicious than any freshly made donut I’ve ever had! AND it was served with a smile during my first visit ever (she was so patient with my indecisiveness). Oh! Did I mention this particular cupcake is gluten free? How is it so scrumptious?!!! I wanted to try this place because of the reviews. I’m planning 2 party’s and want to find great cakes for a reasonable price. I bought some cupcakes for me and my family to try. We loved the cake and the mouse on the cupcakes. My favorites are the chocolate chip mouse and the peanut butter mouse. I will definitely be back to order all future cakes.

The gold standard of cupcakes, and right in our backyard. I’ve tried many of their flavors and have honestly never been disappointed. It’s all about their frosting, but even the cake part is moist and incredible. So far, my favorite has to be the Elvis, but the Pumpkin Chocolate is giving it a run for its money.

Hands down AMAZING!!!!! about 3 years ago for my Dirty 30 Birthday I decided to throw a spooky haunted house themed birthday and I remember someone telling me about Patty’s Cakes. I thought how cute, it’s down the street so lets check it out. I walk in to find out that an old friend and his mother own it! (that just made it 10x better for me to support) I was very specific on what I was looking for as for as the theme of my birthday party and what the cake HAD to look like. Complimentary cake tasting, super easy to deal with, SUPER REASONABLE PRICING, and probably the best cake we’ve ever had. We booked Patty’s super last minute because we thought the wedding cake wasn’t important to us, however this was one of the best wedding decisions we made, not to mention how awesome it was for Patty to accommodate our late order. The cost was way way way below what other vendors were charging for cake that didn’t even taste half as good. We received so many compliments, thank you Patty!

A co-worker got cupcakes from her husband that she shared with us. One was chocolate with cream filling, chocolate and salted caramel. It was deliciously rich and yummy! The other was banana and which I tried at her insistence…it was really a lovely flavor because the banana was not overwhelming. It was just right. I am sure the rest of the flavors are just as wonderful. I would recommend Patty’s Cakes in a heartbeat to anyone!

Aside from having an absolutely adorable store front, Patty’s makes great cakes!! I am a cake-a-holic. And my wedding cake was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had!! AND…we froze our cake top and enjoyed again on our anniversary. Several people told me not to get my hopes up..that after a year in the freezer, it’s likely the cake will taste like cardboard. This was NOT our experience. The cake was just as scrumptious as I remembered. We absolutely recommend Patty’s Cakes!

My boyfriend and I got the gluten-free Eclair cupcake and the white with peanut butter mousse as well as a confetti cake ball. They were all amazing and we will be going back.The cake ball is basically a much better version of Starbuck’s cake pop – it has a better consistency and is bigger. Seriously one of the best tasting cupcakes I’ve had. A few of my students have brought them for me as a gift and they are my favorite kind of dessert to receive! I love mint n chip and LOVED the mint chocolate mousse with the chocolate cupcake. It tasted exactly like Thrifty’s ice cream and the cupcake was so moist and fluffy! Can’t wait to go in this summer!

We got our wedding cake baked, decorated, and delivered by Patty’s Cakes. My husband and I were very picky about what we wanted and Phillip was so helpful during the tasting with helping us find exactly what we wanted and within our budget. And the designs and decorations turned out beautifully. I would definitely recommend this business for any occasion and for everyday as their cakes are that good! I have been looking for a local cupcake place that has moist and fresh cupcakes. This is the place. Finally they have a big variety. I like the fact that you don’t have the cupcakes displayed that means they haven’t been sitting all day and you top them with fresh toppings as they are ordered. We originally ordered from Sam’s Club but the day of we found that they forgot to place order. No wonder we never got a call.. But Patty’s saved the day. Everything here is delicious… you can’t go wrong! I wanted to write a wedding cake review but this place is more than a wedding cake shop, so I had to write my review here on yelp!
I actually stumbled to Patty’s Cakes by chance one day when on yelp looking for a bakery. I went to try it out and the cupcakes were amazing, not overly sweet and moist!
When looking around at the bakery I noticed that they also make wedding cakes, I texted my brother right away because he was planning his wedding at that time. The first time he and his wife tried that place they booked Patty’s for their wedding. The cake for their wedding was HUGE and it was a big hit. The cake was a 5 layer cake made for over 350 guests and every person who ate it said it was delicious. So of course, when my husband and I were planning for our wedding we had to come to Patty’s. We ordered our wedding cake and party favor cupcakes here and it was a huge hit!
The service was amazing and Philip and Patty really both took the time to work with us on our budget and details of the look of the cake. The cake turned out beautiful and the cupcake wedding favors were so much fun. If you are looking for this place for a possible wedding cake vendor this is the place to go to!
BUT if you are just looking for a cupcake / cake place is also the place to go. I order all our birthday celebration desserts through Patty’s and it has never disappointed us. I also have sent cupcakes to people and every time I do I get a huge thank you about how wonderful the cupcakes are and how wonderful the service is.

This was my first time trying Patty’s cakes, it was included in my package and to be honest I didn’t really care too much for the cake in the beginning. When I went to the the cake tasting and saw all the beautiful designs and tried all the different fillings I knew that the cake would be a big part of my wedding. My cake looked beautiful and it tasted even better, everybody loved it and they all wanted more. Thankfully we had a big piece left over which I had my mother in law take home and everybody ate cake for a week because it was that good. Thank you Patty’s cakes!

It was true my first experience was not so pleasant, but I just had to update my review to five stars. The cupcakes tasted way better than I first tried it…it was true…they were delicious!
I regret saying I would go to Sprinkles…I’d have to admit, Patty’s cupcakes are much better. As the owner Philip had explained in the most respectful, and kind manner that I just happened to be there during their transition in the kitchen. And he had made a whole new order for my daughter’s birthday and even gave me some extra cupcakes to accommodate my previous experience. The customer service here was beyond great! Thank you Patty’s cupcakes for making my kid’s birthday delightful! Now I have my own local favorite shop for desserts. My personal favorite is the red velvet. It was very moist with creamy fillings and frosting’s that leaves you no artificial taste in your mouth.

This place was great! My fiancee and I did a lot of shoppingaround for a place to get our wedding cake and checked a lot of the traditional American bakeries as well as many of the Asian bakeries until a friend of ours suggested Patty’s as they had ordered their wedding cake from them. Patty’s prices were waylower than we had figured based on other similar bakeries and the quality of the cakes was amazing! We got the Coconut Pineapple Cream Cheese cake and a Chocolate Mint and Fudge cake and they were both fantastic! A lot of the other bakeries in the area tried to discourage us from doing two different flavor cakes and were generally a bit unhelpful with a lot of our questions about the process but Patty was super helpful and happy to answer our questions and work with us. In the end we got a lot of compliments from wedding guests about our cake which meant a lot to us because these days weddings are roughly 10% about love and happiness and 90% about showing off and outdoing your friends.
