Tried your cupcakes and cake balls tonight and I have to say I am in love with your awesome cupcake icing ! I love how fluffy it is and it is not overly sweet. It is juat the right amount of sweet.The cake part is so moist and just melts in your mouth ! Would definitely love to try more flavors in the future :)
The cakeballs were so yummy too ,especially the chocolate ones with almonds and coconut.

Patty’s cake is a hidden gem. I have lived in Fullerton for 10 plus years. I was driving by and decide to stop to try some cupcakes because I was looking for a wedding cake. We sat down with Patty herself and that should tell you something. We had a great tasting and decide right then and there the were the absolute best. Patty’s Cakes did our wedding cake and we couldn’t be more pleased with how the cake turned out. The order and delivery/set up process was smooth and efficient, and the cake was stunning and true to the vision communicated. Most importantly, the cake was delicious. We chose to white cake and bavarian frosting alternating with layers of chocolate cake and fudge. Both were a huge hit, but the white/bavarian combo was particularly outstanding. Our guests raved about the cake; we only wish we had more left over.

Wonderful experience! My cake was on time and in perfect condition on my wedding day! But most important it taste so good! I was asked a few times where I got it made. The price is not bad either. They were a pleasure to work with. I can not express how yummy the cake was and pretty. I totally recommend them to friends and family.

My husband and I got married in January of this year 2014, we used Pattys Cakes for our wedding cake and I can not even begin to tell you how happy we were with our cake. Not only was it gorgeous and everything we wanted, but we enjoyed the taste of it as well as our guests. From my experience in going to weddings usually the cake is not very edible because it is dripping in fondant, Pattys would not even let you mention the word. Our cake was a three tiered buttercream frosted, chocolate cake with a raspberry fill and let me tell you it was delicious. We incorporated a Disney theme into our wedding using subtle items, one of them being our cake. Patty was able to draw little Mickey faces with frosting and was even able to get our heavy cake topper to stand. Do yourself a favor and book Pattys Cakes you will not be dissapointed with the cake or the awesome customer service. Oh and if your looking for a yummy treat this fall be sure to snag one of her pumpkin cupcakes.

For my wedding I looked at many different cake shops in Orange County and went to a few different tasting buts Patty’s really was the best choice I could have made! They were so easy to work with, make great cakes and have reasonable prices. I would recommend Patty’s Cakes to anyone!!

We learned about this establishment from a good friend of ours who highly recommended the place. I also read reviews from Yelp and so my fiance and I went and checked the place out. Mind you, we needed our wedding cake in a week. Philip helped us and in 20 minutes we had picked out our cake and we were happy with what we chose. We are so happy Philip was able to deliver on the cake in such a short amount of time. And best of all, the cake was very delicious. Our guests had nothing but praise for our cake which put the “icing” on our already beautiful wedding. Thank you Philip and Patty from Patty’s cakes. God bless you!

I was referred to Patty’s Cakes through Oc Mining Company. I was also able to meet Patty at the Bridal Shower
and her cupcakes were amazing. I met with Phillip for the cake tasting he was very informative, friendly and I
love that he was always available whether it was by phone or via email. But those cupcakes WOW it was soooooo
hard for me to choose :( they were all so good. We went with 2 tiers of lemon and raspberry and our top tier
carrot cake (yummy) :)!!!
Our wedding cake turned out exactly what we asked for and got many compliments from our friends and family.

We ordered about a million mini cupcakes for our wedding, many of them Gluten Free. The cupcakes were fan-
FREAKING-tastic. We ordered more than we thought we’d need at Patty’s urging, because there were so many kids
at our wedding…. Patty reminded us that kids tend to bite off the frosting, ditch the rest, and grab
another. We ended up having very little left over except for compliments and a craving for more of her
cupcakes. One month later and we were back for a birthday order. Patty and her staff were professional and
helpful, the cupcakes were ready on time for our planner to pick up, and they even went to the extra trouble
of putting a tiny GF flag on EVERY mini cupcake that was Gluten Free. So much appreciated. Thank you, Patty!

Patty’s Cakes is THE BEST in the OC!!! We used Patty’s Cakes for our wedding at the Summit House in Fullerton
on 02/16/14. Phillip was super helpful and we had a complicated order because I (the bride) am allergic to
dairy and some guests were gluten free, but they worked with us to make it enjoyable for all of our guests. We
went with a cupcake display for the guests and a dairy-free wedding cake topper for the the bride and groom!
It was the best of both worlds, and our dairy free cake was not only absolutely gorgeous, but it was SO
delicious! Patty’s helped make our Day perfect! They are friendly, easy to work with, and they take care of
the set-up; we didn’t have to worry about anything at all with them. I would recommend Patty’s Cakes to
everyone! Seriously, these guys are the professionals. Trust them with your special event- you will not be
so

My wife and I choose Patty’s Cakes to do our wedding cake as my wife has a gluten sensitivity and they do
Gluten Free cakes.
It can be very difficult to make a good gluten free cake (trust me we have tried a lot of them) However, the
wedding cakes they make are so good, you really don’t know you are eating a gluten free product! We ended up
making only the top tier of the cake gluten free and the rest of the cake tasted just as amazing! (I could
barely taste the difference)
On the day of the wedding, the delivery crew arrived when we were told they would and the cake tasted just as
great as it did during the tasting.

I brought my son after school to this place and its a cute lil shop. They have a variety of choices for cupcakes and cake balls. We got 2 cupcakes and a cake ball. My son got the chocolate fudge & it was perfectly sweet. I got the red velvet w/cream cheese mousse & it had a great taste. I only took a bite out of the banana cake ball but it was absolutely delicious. Coming back here forsure.

Five stars is not enough praise for this amazing bakery. Outrageously delicious cupcakes starting from the
texture and flavor of the cake to the most decadent, perfect amount of sweetness frosting. Tried the Boston
Creme Pie cupcake and Peanut Butter and they were outstanding. Looking forward to my next trip to this one of
a kind bakery.

We had Patty’s Cakes provide our wedding cake and it was just perfect! The tasting appointment was fun because Patty is really funny and clearly enjoys her job! Even more important the cake came out delicious and pretty – it looked exactly how we had talked about in our tasting appointment! The fact that they will include two flavors in a single layer of cake (so each piece has two flavors) is a unique twist!
Patty’s Cakes was really familiar with our venue, and we didn’t have to do a single thing. The cake just showed up exactly where and when it was supposed to. I’m so glad we went with this vendor. Plus, all of our interactions with Patty’s staff were professional and pleasant. Everyone that works there is friendly and helpful and a joy.
We can’t wait to come back on our anniversary and get some cupcakes in our wedding cake flavors. (Because we already ate our top tier… we were unable to resist… and it was delicious.)

Having tried the delicious cupcakes here before and hearing reviews from friends about their wedding cakes we knew we had to get our wedding cake here. We met with Phillip for the tasting and made our decision. I went in with a few different photos and we took a few ideas from different images and created our own design. On the big day everyone raved about the cake. We took the top tier home but had to leave on our honeymoon the next day so we decided to freeze it. Two weeks later we came back and finally got to eat our cake, which still tasted amazing! We look forward to visiting the shop for our cupcake fix.

Patty’s Cakes is a staple in the Fullerton Community. Ever since moving to San Diego, I have been going through withdraws for their cake balls. Coated cake balls bites that are moist in the center that burst with flavor! Writing this review is making me think its time for another OC trip to my favorite Dessert Place!

Patty’s Cakes and Desserts is such a cute place! It’s small and really is only for ordering and taking out. There is one table to sit at inside the store. You should definitely go there and try their cake balls. They’re the best things on earth! They’re cake with a hard outer shell, usually made of chocolate. It’s a really cute place with very good cakes and cake balls.

I planned a 2 year engagement to give me enough time to find the perfect vendors for my special day and Patty’s cake was one of them. I got married a year ago and my guests are still talking about my cake today. I myself am not a cake person. Never really cared for it but when I test tasted Patty’s cake OMG it was de-lious! We couldn’t decide between 2 flavors because it was that good. So they were so nice and said they would do the 2 flavors together so that each guest would have a little bit of chocolate and red velvet in one slice! And the vison of my cake was EXACTLY what I had envisioned for my big day. I was so happy with the quality and service there. Patty and Phillip are the sweetest people ever too and make you super comfortable to tell them what you really want and expect. If you are the bride in looking for a cake this is the place to get it! I called in desperate need of a birthday cake and they were willing to work with my time frame and wants for the birthday cake. And many enjoyed the presentation and taste of the cake. So thumbs up for service and accommodation and taste.
When I went to pick up my cake, I checked into yelp which states 1 free cupcake or cake ball… So I was super stoked, but apparently it’s buy 3 get 1 free. Out of everything I really enjoyed the red velvet and Elvis. Both just melt in your mouth and had the perfect texture.
Besides the cupcakes, I got the s’mores cake ball and it was so delicious! Sweet overload… In a good way.
The cake was moist and delicious, it was a big hit!!!

Had our wedding cake made here. All of the staff was very helpful in walking us through the process, even though our cake wasn’t too big or too intricate. Patty herself went above and beyond with her customer service, making you feel welcome, and her artistic abilities. The cake was moist and delicious! It was a big hit . Would recommend going here to anyone looking for a cake for any occasion! They also delivered our cake to the corresponding restaurant that we had picked out. They were on time and set it all up for us!! Thanks again!

Our sister in law brought a dozen cupcakes to a gathering we had last Wed. night. They were excellent, so pretty that we did not want to eat them. But, that didn’t last long. Each one tasted RELLY, REALLY good! If I had to choose a favorite I would not be able to…they were all SO, SO good! The one that we didn’t have was a red velvet. That’s ok, I will just have to pay a visit to Patty’s and try one for myself. They are 5 stars in our book!

These cupcakes are thoughtfully created and absolutely delicious! A friend was going because he wanted to take his lady somewhere fun that night so I asked him to snag me a quartet to bring to work the next day.
The eclair cupcake is amazing… even the next day, the frosting was smooth and tasty… not too sweet. The cake itself was moist and fluffy with a cream center that balanced beautifully with the other components of the entire cupcake.
I’m not a red velvet fan, but others said that the frosting was one of the best they ever had and the cake was well balanced.
I didn’t expect the Elvis cupcake to be all that good but my coworker was so enamored of it, that I had to take a bite. The flavors balanced well, with the specific flavors concentrated on each component of the cupcake; banana cake was light and flavored well, peanut butter mousse frosting was so tasty and the bacon bits on top were delightful!
Overall, delicious, beautifully presented and priced appropriately.
