Awesome cupcakes!!! Was driving by and noticed the store
sign….never heard of it before (i m from Irvine)….so I
decided to Yelp it and saw a ton of great reviews. I
decided to get the Elvis cupcake…. Best decision ever!!!!
You must try this cupcake….crispy bacon on top!!!! I used
to live in LA and now live in OC so I have tried all the
new bakeries around: Vanilla Bakeshop, Sprinkles, Crumbs,
Susie Cakes, Layer Cake Bakery, Cassie s Cupcakes, Sweet &
Saucy….I must say my first bite made me a believer!!!!
Can t wait to go back.

Patty just made a mint chip birthday cake for my husband that was SOOOOOO freakin good it should have been X rated!! It was above and beyond what our taste buds were expecting. Once again Patty you rocked our world.The mint was subtle and the whipped frosting was perfect. The chocolate cake was so moist which is really hard to find. Will upload a picture soon.

Oh my gosh, best. cupcakes. ever. We came here a while back and got 3 cupcakes: Butter Pecan, Chocolate Chipper, and Chocolate Caramel Salty. I d never actually bought a single cupcake from a bakery before and I was a little hesitant at first because I felt like I could make 24 cupcakes at home for the same price. But it turned out to be a great decision, as the amazing, mousse-filled cupcakes were better than anything I have ever baked! I will definitely go back and try more flavors :)

The cake balls are awesome! The S’mores cake ball is by far the best! The cupcakes are also very good. The frosting is light and perfect. One of the best cupcakes I’ve ever tried.

Oh my gosh I think I have found the best most delicious bakery in California! Patty’s Cakes! Patty and Philip were super friendly and made everything with my wedding cake really easy for me. But WOW that cake! If you get a chance you have to get Patty’s Cakes to make for you a chocolate cake, coconut cake with pineapple cream cheese filling! To die for!

The only hic-cup was not realizing that when you set the pick-up time, do not arrive earlier. When I say “fresh”, I mean fresh. Had to wait for them yummy treats to be frosted and I was only early by 1 hour.

People check this cake shop out! Ordered the bavarian custard and raspberry cake for my daughters first birthday party. My guest loved it and it was a big hit. The cake was super moist and the taste amazing. They were amazing to work with as well. Love them and will work with them again in the future.

You go in, check-in using your yelp app, get excited b/c by checking in you get a free cupcake when you buy 3, wait for your turn, order the cupcakes (you get to pick the cake and the whipped topping), wait for them to make them (they cakes are pre-made, they just add the whipped topping while you wait), pay for the cupcakes, walk casually to your car, furiously shovel 2 cupcakes (the cakes are moist, light and fluffy, the topping, like the cake, is light, fluffy, generous and in short GENIUS) into your mouth.
After brushing the crumbs off your face and clothes, you go back in and order 2 more (to replace the 2 that “mysteriously (that’s right, MYSTERIOUSLY) disappeared) so that no one will be suspicious to why there are only 2 when there should be 4…
I can’t recommend enough the vanilla cupcake (or chocolate cake) with the Chambord topping… OMG… Cupcake heaven! The apple pie, the Elvis, the peanut butter topping, the chocolate topping… Dammit, everything is AMAZING!!! I want 2 cupcakes now… I mean, one… I want one cupcake now ;)
I love that this is a mom ‘n pop shop :) I love that their cupcakes blow me away EVERY time. The only thing that bums me out is the hours of operations. I work during their open hours and on my days off, I live 20 miles away :( Maybe they’ll have later hours in the near future :) Here’s to wishful thinking!
I can’t recommend this place enough. I love their cupcakes. If you go, can you pick me up a couple of them? Please?

Wow..this is the best cupcake I’ve tasted…and I’ve tried
3 different places looking to find the perfect cupcake for my bridal
shower. The cupcakes are moist, the frosting isn’t too sweet and the
abundance of flavor are all amazing! I’m a new fan.

Yummy cupcake. Moist, fluffy, chocolate cake. Rich, restrained sweet peanut butter creamy frosting. Very satisfying. Not too big. Just the right size for a good bit.
The staff were friendly and accomodating. I only wished that we could have tried the cake balls but they were all sold out.

I was in need of some cupcakes for a friends birthday. Saw a shout-out to them on facebook by insider fullerton I believe. And I drive by it about everyday on my way to work. Decided to go in and check it out. They were going to be featured on the news the following day, so I figured it had to be good.
I checked in while I was there and received a free cupcake after buying 3. Unfortunately I did not get to try them as they were a gift. But my friend said they were amazing so I will most definitely go back and try for myself. I bought 4 red velvet, 2 with the chocolate chip cream cheese frosting and two with the regular cream cheese frosting.
When I go back I definitely want to try one of their lemon items (cake ball, or cupcake) and I believe it was called Elvis something.
I will be back =]

Patty is amazing! We wanted to use her for our cake, and were going to separate the cake from the caterer, and then it turned out that she was the one that our caterer uses anyways!!
Patty is sweet and bubbly. You will work with her & her son, who is also very nice and helpful. She has an adorable little shop in Fullerton, and you do your tasting there. Her cakes are super moist, and the perfect amount of sweet. We picked a yellow cake & the white cake, with a raspberry & custard filling. SO yummy!!
I had a picture of a cake I found online and wanted to duplicate it, and she copied it perfectly! I didn’t have to worry for one minute about the cake – it was the easiest process of the whole entire wedding.
Everything was perfect! We will be back there on our 1 year anniversary for cupcakes flavored like our cake :-)

Patty was amazing! She is so sweet and personal and really takes the time to get to know her clients. This is a family owned business and her son was fantastic too! She works with your budget and everything is so beautiful! We did the cupcake Tower and it was fabulous and beautiful! My guests raved about the cupcakes. The frosting was light and creamy…not too sweet. I will definitely be returning for cakes in the future!!

By far the BEST cupcakes I have ever tasted!! The Elvis (banana cake, pb mousse and bacon) was Amazing- a must try!! I also had the Butter Pecan and was blown away. The cakes are super moist and the mousse was perfect. The staff was super friendly. Will definitely be going back to Patty’s.

Patty the owner who I realized was actually one of my neighbor’s is a wonderful lady with a lot of carisma and makes you feel like part of her family, not to mention when she found out that it was my Birthday she presented me a cupcake flavor of my choice which I chose Red Velet and it was the most amazing cupcake ever!!!! Thu did my wedding cake and it came out just amazing! They did a red velvet / chocolate for each layer with a raspberry and cream filling (which was their recommendation) it looked wonderful and tasted just as good. The frosting was light and fluffy and didn’t make you feel sick after eating it and the design came out beautiful. And best of all their price was better than the other places I had looked at that didn’t offer as much. Thanks!

My husband and I were referred to Patty’s Cakes by our day-of wedding coordinator and caterer, Café Hidalgo’s Dena David. Thank you Dena for the introduction! And a million thanks to Patty and Philip from Patty’s Cakes for the wedding cake of our dreams! We had a vintage travel-themed wedding and we came to Patty with the request for vintage luggage-looking cakes and cupcakes. She enthusiastically agreed to take on the challenge and we are so grateful she did. They were beautiful beyond words! And what delicious cakes they were too – soft, moist and not too sweet, just the way we love them! Our family and friends raaaaaaaaaved about the cakes as did my husband and I. that I realized that I was passing by are Fresh and delicious. I had passed by the unassuming location several times and thought to myself, “I should try this place.” It wasn’t until I saw the Elvis cupcake featured on Channel 7 News I treasure of confectionery bliss. I’ve been on a salted caramel trend lately and was very pleased to see that combination offered on the menu. It didn’t disappoint. I was also pleased with the service, very courteous and attentive. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

My daughter allowed her step dad, Rick, to provide a cake for her wedding, a job he enthusiastically jumped into. After careful research on line, for design, reviews and price, he started calling to make appointments for tasting. He was very disapointed in the lack of helpfulness of the people he talked to at some well known bakeries. That’s when we recalled the amazing red velvet cake we had at a birthday party a few months earlier. It was from Patty’s Cakes! A check of their web site showed several designs the bride loved. One call to the extremely helpful Phillip, and Rick was on his way to a tasting. Everything was sooo good it was hard to decide. The cake was gorgeous, delicious and the centerpiece of the perfect wedding dinner. We will go back again, and recommend Patty’s Cakes to everyone looking for great cake, quality and service with loving care!!
