MY HUSBAND STILL CRAVES OUR WEDDING CAKE. We learned about Patty’s Cakes on our preferred vendor list. We were impressed with every aspect of this service–timely emails, the cake tasting and selection experience, and especially the cake itself. My husband is not a dessert person, and he STILL raves about how delicious our red velvet, strawberry filling, and light moussey frosting was. We can’t wait to order again.

We celebrated our wedding in February 2024 and the best decision we made for our event was to have Patty’s make our custom three-tier cake. They had great communication before the event and pick-up was smooth (we were outside of the delivery zone so had to transport the cake ourselves). One suggestion I have for self pick-ups of large cakes is to provide a hard/firm cardboard box for transport rather than a flimsy cake box- we ended up marring the surface of the cake before even leaving the parking lot. We were able to cover it with flowers so it ended up working out. All of our guests were raving about the delicious cake and there were no leftovers. Thanks so much, Patty’s!

I live in MD and my daughter lives in CA. Wanted to send something other than flowers to her for her birthday. I found this little gem on Google. From start to finish, the were superb. Delivery was on time and as stated. Was able to send my daughter freshly baked cupcakes that she said we’re the best she has ever tasted. Delicious Vegan Cupcakes for Dairy-Free Delights in the City

Their vegan cupcakes are delicious!!! Words I thought I would never say lol. My newborn is allergic to dairy so that means no dairy for me :( For Valentine’s Day my husband got me just about every flavor of vegan cupcakes they had and it was all delicious!! The whipped cream is so good, can’t even tell it’s not cream. I love the fudge like chocolate frosting a lot too. So good!!

I have been working a couple blocks from here for a few months now. Every other week or so I say to myself that I should go in and pick up some treats to bring home to my husband. Finally decided to do it on Valentine’s Day!

I admit I went overboard by ordering an entire dozen of cupcakes, but I wanted to try so many flavors! I also grabbed a Marble flavored Bag-O-Cake before paying.

I LOVE that they have all of their flavors every day! I was honestly shocked at the selection, there are at least 50 to choose from! They frost all of their cupcakes to order, so even though there was barely anybody in there, I had to wait about 20 minutes for them to prepare all the cupcakes. I was totally fine with that.

The lady who helped me gave me a pamphlet with a guide to all of their flavors so we would know what we were eating, which proved to be super helpful, as I couldn’t remember what I ordered! We have had 5 of the cupcakes so far, and they have all been wonderful. The cake is moist, has great flavor, and the toppings are all delicious. Also, they are beautiful to look at!

I especially loved the Bag-O-Cake, since I am not a huge frosting person. When I eat a cupcake, I typically have one bite of frosting then remove it, so a bag filled with frosting-less cake is perfect for me. I can definitely see myself picking up more of those bags when I have a craving for something sweet.

Cakes/cupcakes are Light and Not Overly Sweet – We enjoyed this cake two days after delivery and it was still moist, soft, and bouncy! The whipped cream is a good consistency without being too sugary as well! We’ve used Patty’s cakes for the last couple of years and have not been disappointed!

I send 4 dozen of the birthday mini cupcakes to my sister for her birthday each year. She works at a school, so these masterpieces are shared with her students and staff members. Everyone loves these cupcakes! They are the perfect size for sharing, they are delicious, and everyone wants more. This is the best birthday gift for someone to make them feel special and be able to share the love of a perfect cupcake.

Me and my now husband used Patty’s Cakes for our wedding. It was actually the first thing we did for the wedding. We didn’t even look at any other bakeries because we already loved Patty’s!! We had so much fun cake tasting and choosing our perfect combo of cake and flavors. We chose chocolate and lemon cake for our two tiers and raspberry filling. It was amazing and our guests still rave about it! We still get Patty’s pretty regularly for birthdays and special occasions and the occasional treat. Highly recommend Patty’s for your next event or special occasion!!

We had a cake tasting and the service was very timely, with many options to chose from. Jacqueline was very accommodating with our questions and if we wanted to try different options. Everything was very professional and we didn’t feel rushed. Not to mention, the cakes were very delicious, making it hard to choose. I’m not too fond of frosting/icing so I especially appreciated the main frosting for the outside of the cake; the texture was very light and didn’t taste too sugary.

Daughters Birthday – What a easy, convenient and fun experience. First time ordering from Patty’s Cakes. Order Tues morning and received the cupcakes, at my office, just a few hours later. Literally the best cupcake bakery I have been at in a long time! Hands down the cupcakes are better than any cupcake that I have ever had! I even love sprinkles cupcakes but these are surpass those by 100 percent. We had banana vanilla, banana strawberry, red velvet and lemon. All were amazing. We loved how moist the cupcake was, and how the whip cream wasn’t overly sweet. I cannot wait to come back to So Cal just for these cuocakes! We went twice during vacation. I wish we had brought some home!!! Sooo good!

Had an intimate gender reveal over the weekend. My friend placed an order for me after getting an email of my results. We chose this bakery since they were able to fulfill the order the next day. The cupcakes looked amazing and tasted good. The only bummer is that I noticed the filling peaking out from under the frosting :/ a bit of a bummer since I was able to see what we were having prior to the actual reveal. Mistakes happen. I would just suggest to expecting parents to have someone else pick them up and inspect them to avoid the surprise being spoiled. I noticed it when picking them up from the location, but thought maybe I was imagining it. After checking again once I got home to make sure they weren’t damaged during transport it confirmed that the filling was visible.

Patty’s Cakes was able to provide me with mini cupcakes for 125 people with a little more than a week’s notice. The cupcakes were delicious, and everyone loved them. We had chocolate with oreo, monkey’s uncle, red velvet, lemon bliss, neapolitan and mango bliss. They also provided a rental stand to arrange the cupcakes on. I had a caramel pecan cookie there while trying some of the cupcakes, and the cookie was great too! We had some cupcakes left over, and they were still good a few days later.

Delicious cupcakes with a variety of flavor choices.

Told my husband I was craving cupcakes and he came home with Patty’s Cakes cupcakes. We had the chocolate with peanut butter mousse, lemon guava, banana strawberry, and the Elvis. I think the Elvis was my favorite, but it was definitely super hard to pick between them.

These cupcakes had a perfect sweetness to them and you could definitely test the flavors of each component.

How in the world is this not 5 star rating. These cupcakes were the best. Fresh flavors and very moist cupcakes. Banana was my favorite. Lemon raspberry was awesome as well and banana strawberry. Lemon drop red velvet were great as well. I’m going to make sure we come back before leaving town. That’s how good they were to us. If anything changes 2nd time around I will leave second review but if they as good as the first time, I’m just going to leave it alone.

Delicious – Ordered these cupcakes for my son’s school and everyone loved them! A mom told me how her daughter would not stop talking about the yummy bacon cupcake (the Elvis) which happens to be my son’s favorite. The frosting is always so delicious and not overly sweet like most other places.

vegan heaven! any place that doesn’t punish vegans always gets 5 stars from me. when I say punish: I mean they not only have so many vegan options, they only charge about 30c extra for their vegan cupcakes compared to their regular ones. vegans know other places with vegan options charge like they wanna punish us. I was nervous ordering from DD, if the cakes will be smashed or frosting ruined but they arrived in perfect condition. they even put a sticker on top for the delivery drivers to keep it flat and handle with care. the Vegan Piña Colada – Cupcake looks so cute with that little umbrella on top! I thought the prices were fair for the size since most cookie stores like crumble charge $5 a cookie! and I appreciate the little ‘v’ flags on top as I’m always anxious what if the workers messed up and gave me non vegan items when ordering out. it’s little things like that but I like to have that peace of mind! can’t wait to try them but they look super moist and soft!

Okay, y’all have to try these cakes. I was driving past Patty’s everyday on my commute for a few months and yesterday decided to finally try it.

These cupcakes are so so so delicious! I got the Mango Bliss, Eclair, Lemon Guava, and Strawberry Bliss. I loved that the 3 fruit ones we got had cream cheese frosting so it balances out the sweetness nicely. And the cream filling in the eclair was perfect. If I had to choose a favorite it would be the Mango Bliss, but all were delicious.

On top of the great food, the employee who helped me was so nice. She gave great recommendations! And the shop is literally so so cute. Definitely a dessert spot I’ll be coming to again!

Patty’s Cakes made our wedding cake and we were thrilled with the results! we ordered a layered cake with filigree in our wedding colors and it was perfect. They were very accommodating and we had a great time with the taste testing. I didn’t think that choosing a cake was going to be that much of an enjoyable experience but Patty’s Cakes made it so. We had a private room and lots of time to test different combos and see actual cake examples of what they offered. The cake was such a hit that many people were asking about it and how good it tasted!

Average cupcakes and rude employees. However I like how they frost every cupcake fresh to order but every cupcake just tastes the same. It’s basically just the same base cupcakes with the same base frosting. The only thing that set the cupcakes as different are the tiny bit of filling they put and the toppings. I tried 2 different vanilla cupcakes and 2 different chocolate cupcakes and they tasted identical that you couldn’t taste the difference between them. Not worth it really.

Patty’s gives you everything you need – moist texture, the perfect whipped icing, and flavor. Their formula is perfection-

Patty’s Cakes was one of the cake vendor options included with our reception venue package and we were very satisfied with the cake on our wedding day! The tasting was well organized and helped us easily decide exactly what we wanted. The only downside was that they were unable to make our cake gluten and egg-free, so a few of our wedding guests could not consume the cake due to allergies and dietary restrictions.

Probably the BEST cake maker in terms of flavor, light whipped dressing, and cake texture which is MOIST. Always check their calendar for their closed days. Otherwise cake tasting was to the point which they do cupcake style but it was a great way to test the fillings. I cant wait to order more cakes from them for birthdays in the future. Patty’s is truly quality. Also asians would go crazy for this place, i know because im filipino and elders always say “we dont like too sweet,” but they ate all our leftover cake the next couple of days after our wedding! give them a try. We also opted for 2 tiers and 1-2 (maybe) sheetcakes and 1 dozen vegan cupcakes for a total of $420 (for 140 people) which included delivery. They will work with your budget but they also have minimums. 10/10 will recommend.

Patty’s Cakes and Desserts lives up to all the hype you’ve heard. I’ve been going to my local bakery for years and only came here because the birthday girl lives this place. I’ve converted. I’ll only be getting my cakes here from now on.

I ordered a white standard cake with a sprinkle border and a cute phrase written on top. The pattys team did a great job making the cake fit the aesthetic I expected. We got so many compliments on the cake. Moreover, it tasted amazing. The cake was soft and chewy. It wasn’t too much frosting and perfectly moist.

I was worried that the 8 inch cake wouldn’t be enough but we were able to feed about 20 people with cake still left over. While it’s 8 inches in diameter, it is still very tall.

The service was great as well! I ordered online and picked up 2 days later. There wasn’t much of a rush so I was able to quickly grab my cake during my preselected pick up time.

The parking lot is a little tiny but there’s ample parking in the residential neighborhood. Since most people are just picking up, even if the lot is full you should find parking fairly quickly as people exit.
