My husband and I chose Patty’s Cakes to make our wedding cake after tasting it at our venue’s wedding show. They have so many flavors to choose from but we ultimately chose white cake with mango filling and vanilla frosting. We also loved the pineapple filling, so they let us put that in the top tier, just for us to eat. They even gave us a couple of cupcakes to take home that matched our choices! The cake turned out amazing and our guests raved about it. We absolutely recommend Patty’s if you are in need of a wedding or event cake.

I first went to Patty’s Cakes because a friend had recommended it to me and ended up loving the cupcakes so much this is where we got our wedding cake and cupcakes! From the moment we had our cake tasting, the staff was super helpful and communicative. They answered all our questions and made the process super easy. We were able to create our own cut cake and cupcake based on flavors we liked and that made it super special. Patty’s Cakes also delivered to our venue and it went super smoothly! Not only were the cupcakes delicious, but very affordable too! I highly recommend Patty’s Cakes if you want delicious, unique, and picture-perfect cupcakes!

Stopped in to pick up a gluten-free chocolate salty caramel cupcake for a friend’s birthday last night. She said that it was the best cupcake that she had ever had and that included before she found out that it was gluten-free! Got my husband’s favorite, the raspberry lemon bliss, and my favorite, the pina colada. Did my ordering online. So easy!

This review is long overdue but I can’t say enough about the service and cakes at this bakery. I first came across them for my husband’s birthday cake and then loved the cake so much that we had to use them for our wedding. We did a small cake and a variety of mini cupcake flavors for our wedding. Our guests could not have enough and everyone complimented the taste of each flavor. Will definitely continue using Patty’s Cakes for celebrations!

We booked Patty’s Cakes and Desserts for our wedding reception. As anyone can see from the pictures the cake balls, cupcakes, and wedding cake were absolutely gorgeous. The taste was not compromised. I have been asked several times where we got the cupcakes because our guests loved them so much. The cake tasting was outstanding. The level of detail was over the top. They delivered on time from Fullerton to Huntington Beach. Set up everything beautifully. They even allowed us to customize the cake balls to white chocolate. I highly recommend booking them for all events.

I have used Patty’s Cakes on past occasions for birthdays and desserts. Booking a tasting for a wedding cake and verifying they had availability for my event was an easy process. Once our tasting was booked and our meeting arrived we had a wonderful experience. We were taken to a side suite in the shop where we had total privacy from their regular customer base. I really enjoyed the privacy. We were handed a look book and she brought in the samples. All were delicious. As mentioned we’ve had their product before and each time has been flavorful, presentation is always great and guests love it. No different this time. The cake looked amazing, the flavor was great and the delivery to the venue was on time. Thank you for providing the perfect cake for our wedding.

We did our cake tasting here and wow! Jacqueline was so helpful, informative, and encouraging! We weren’t sure if we wanted to try a particular filling because we were unsure of how it would pair with the cakes we chose, but Jacqueline encouraged us to explore it and it turned out to be one of the fillings we selected. We were so happy to have had such a good experience in deciding a very important factor in our big day! When I went to pick up my order I was greeted by the owner herself she carried my cake & walked me to my car and helped me make sure my cake was secure in my car, she was very nice and had a great personality, I definitely could tell she has a passion for her business and appreciates her customers. I have gone back several times to get cupcakes for other occasions and they have always been a big hit. We ended up getting a banana-flavored cake and it was AMAZING!

We moved to Washington from OC and searched for a cake shop to deliver to Irvine for my father’s 92nd birthday, he does love desserts! Thought this would make his day special and boy did it. Ordered him a dozen cupcakes, and the OH-EM-GEE pack arrived on time and was beautiful. He was so happy and said they were too appetizing to share. Never got a good picture, he ate them too quickly. We learned about their mini cupcakes from our friends and they are the best cupcakes I’ve had. So we decided to go there for a cake tasting for our wedding.
The cake tasting was free and super fun, they let you choose different flavors to try on, and the girl there was always helpful. We ordered a semi-naked cake with two different flavors and it was a big hit. We also ordered cupcakes for our wedding and all the guests loved both the wedding cake and the cupcakes. The cake tasted super fresh and moist on the wedding day, just exactly like the cupcakes they normally sell at the store. And thanks to our florist, she makes the cake extra pretty!

These are the best cupcakes I’ve ever had in my life. The frosting is flavorful, smooth, and just the right amount of sweet – as in they’re not overly sugary as most frostings tend to be. The frosting is also piped fresh, and they are very generous with it. Just the right amount in a nice swirl so that each bite is perfectly balanced with its light and fluffy cupcake base.
