In the process of choosing our wedding cake, we tried not one, not two, but FIVE other cake shops. Most were asking for upwards of $450 for dry cakes with sickly sweet frosting. We were beginning to lose hope of finding a cake we actually liked. And then, miraculously, we found Patty’s Cakes. Not only was our cake DELICIOUS, but the price was reasonable too. So happy we chose Patty’s Cakes for our wedding & would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

We searched high and low for an affordable wedding cake and we are so happy we found Patty’s Cakes! We tried their cupcakes at our venue’s taste testing and fell in love immediately. Then we went to their website and loved the pricing page where you get to choose what cake size and get an estimate of how much it will cost. Their cake consistency is perfect- not too airy and not too condensed. Their frosting is delicious and light. We went with a 3-tier cake and a sheet cake for our wedding. We had some guests mention that they even got seconds! Patty’s Cakes did an amazing job on our cake. Hopefully, you get to taste their delicious craft! 😋😍

Everyone at my wedding was RAVING about how amazing it was. We had a strawberry cake with strawberry mousse and strawberry jam with white mousse on the outside. It sounds like a lot of strawberry but trust me it was AMAZING.
I loved their cake so much that I ordered cupcakes of different flavors for a party I was hosting. I also recommend the chocolate cake with the vanilla mousse.

We decided to choose Patty’s Cakes for our wedding cake since we had ordered cupcakes from them before and they were really good (esp red velvet). The first step was to schedule a consultation/tasting where we determined the size/style of cake we wanted, as well as what flavor cake. I believe we got to choose 3 flavors to taste and ended up going with lemon. Besides the cake, we also ordered cupcakes and cake balls for our dessert table. About a week before the wedding we called to confirm everything and finalize delivery, as well as pay our balance. Everything went smoothly and we did not have any issues. We got many compliments from our guests on both the cake as well as the other desserts. Thank you Patty’s Cakes!

The number of flavor options and potential combinations is extensive, and we had such a difficult time choosing since they were all so delicious. However, with their team’s suggestions, we were able to choose our cake and it ended up being absolutely beautiful and delicious. Several of our guests came up to us and mentioned that they’re not usually fans of cake, but that this was the best cake they ever had. Yum! Super friendly staff, happy customers, and tasty cupcakes! Recently I purchased 4 dozen mini cupcakes for a little league team. Mix them up good because everyone ooohs and ahhhhs over the choices and I’ve found that most people enjoy tasting two different minis than having a larger cupcake. These tasty suckers are moist and yummy and are hands down the best cupcakes!

Soo delicious. I tip my hat to Patty’s Cakes; my wedding cake was so delicious. We were able to have our cake tasting and pair our tastes. We paired the banana cake with Pineapple and Bavarian Cream filling, it was so delicious, who would have thought. It was my 2nd tier and the first to go. The service was great, they only allowed two persons for tasting and no switching of persons if you have more than two persons there. The ambiance was really cool also, you’re in a room dedicated to your tasting experience.

Easiest Part of Wedding Planning. My husband worked with Patty’s to get the cake for our engagement party, and we knew we wanted them to provide our wedding cake too! The process and booking for the cake tasting was super easy, there are a ton of combinations but we ended up choosing lemon cake with raspberry filling. We added our own flowers and the cake came out beautifully, and we got tons of compliments on how delicious the cake was. Service was excellent, would definitely recommend for any big occasion!

Omg! This has to be my favorite cupcake place ever. I have never been a fondant or buttercream frosting type of girl so I was so happy that this place does mousse but it has more of a fluffy whipped cream consistency. I love whip cream. It’s super simple but so good.
Patty’s Cakes is genius. They frost when ordered. You pick which cupcake you want and they frost it on the spot. I feel it tastes so much better and fresher. It might take longer but it will be worth it.
I decided to keep it simple and ordered the white cupcake with vanilla mousse. The cupcake is so moist and not dry. The bottom, top, and all around were the same texture. It’s hard to bake a whole cupcake where every bite was perfect. Also, there was enough whipped cream ratio to cake. I did have the cupcakes when someone dropped them off for me but it just tastes different when you eat them right when you get it, sitting and devouring it in your car….ooo maybe that’s just me but no shame.
If you’re having a party or a wedding, definitely have to check out this place. They have won so many awards and recognition.

Wowow. Patty’s Cakes is very off-the-beaten-path for me but I’m so glad I made the trek out to try them
I came by at 8 PM, slightly worried that I would have already missed out on the best-selling cupcakes. To my delight, I discovered that the cupcakes are frosted to order, and there is no such thing as selling out here.
They have a massive menu spread with all kinds of combinations. It was almost overwhelming. I tried to get a variety to sample a few different frostings and cakes I’ve got to say, these cupcakes were great. The cake part was moist and fluffy, almost like a box cake mix (a good thing) and the frostings were YUM.
My fave two combos were the red velvet with cream cheese and the chocolate cake with marshmallows inside and fudge frosting. The strawberry cake was also solid. Their fudge frosting is a TRUE fudge frosting, almost like hot fudge. So so so amazing. The only one I didn’t love was the chocolate mousse frosting, but hey, we were 5 for 6 here which is pretty great.
Overall, a great cupcake bakery. Not a lot of standalone cupcake places have survived since the cupcake boom from the 2010s, but I am happy to know that this one is around.

I highly recommend anyone who is looking for their wedding cake to go to Patty’s Cakes! From the moment my friend and I walked in everyone was super nice and welcoming. We went for the cake tasting and it was a wonderful experience. Jacqueline made the experience awesome! We were taken to a room where they had displays of different tiers, a book to pick the wedding cake design, and where the magic happens. You get to choose three flavors of cakes and Jacqueline helps with choosing the fillings however if she does not choose a filling that you might want to try she lets you pick :) the process is stress-free, quick, and delicious.

Patty’s Cakes was one of the recommended vendors for desserts at our wedding venue, the Heritage Museum of Orange County. It was amazing! All the flavors that we tried were so very delicious. Picking between the flavor combination was the hardest thing to decide.
We decided to go with a yamaha design, a chocolate cake with Oreo and chocolate chip filling.
The cake was beautifully decorated and we added some flowers to spruce it up even more! Everyone kept saying how delicious it was. I wish I would’ve had more too. We will definitely stop by to get some cupcakes soon and celebrate our month-a-versary!

I ordered a few regular cakes too, but my favorite cake was my wedding cake! I got married back on October 22, 2022, and they did an amazing job from going into our cake tasting to the day of our wedding. The cake was so good that not a crumb was left! (even our top-tier cake that we were supposed to keep was gone!) Definitely recommend! :)

This will always be my favorite place to get cupcakes. It’s never too sweet and the cupcakes are super moist! We were celebrating my friend’s birthday and wanted to get her a sweet treat. I ordered half a dozen cupcakes through their website, which was extremely easy to do. Cupcakes are $3.95 each and the flavor options seem to be endless…there’s a lot to choose from! Ordering online gives you the option for free in-store pickup or a $5 delivery fee. Picking up our order was easy. They even give us handling instructions, which I thought was thoughtful. They also have a Yelp check-in promo where if you buy 3 cupcakes (in-store only apparently…we tried asking if it applied to online orders but they don’t), you get 1 cupcake for free. I’ll definitely be back to order more cupcakes from them! This has easily turned into my go-to spot for gifting birthday treats.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding in June 2022 and looking back on all the planning we did, one thing both my husband and I would agree on, was how much we enjoyed the cake-tasting process. My husband doesn’t have the biggest sweet tooth, however, he thoroughly enjoyed every cake, filling, and buttercream Patty’s Cakes had to offer. He was enjoying himself so much I had to make sure he had saved cakes/fillings for me to sample as well. The staff was nothing but kind and patient, giving us all the time to make a decision. It really showed that they wanted us to be happy with our final outcome. What sold us with booking Patty’s Cakes for our wedding was the cakes and buttercream. They were amazing! The cakes were a perfect balance of sweet and moist, and it was like somehow, every cake paired so nicely with the next, it made it difficult for us to narrow it down to 3 tier flavors for our cake! The buttercream was absolutely to die for! It was so creamy and light, and really tied in all the flavors together. When we finally chose our cake tier flavors, it was then time to choose the cake style. We decided to go with a simple “line” design and would add flowers from our florist on the day of the wedding. We walked out of Patty’s Cakes that day, excited to see our cake come together for our big day. On the day of the wedding, the cake arrived on time and in perfect condition and was definitely a big hit with our guests. I can easily say there was no leftover cake by the end of the night. Our wedding was amazing and we look forward to using Patty’s Cakes for future events!
