My family and I love their cupcakes. We usually come in for the cupcake happy hour between 6-8pm to get our dessert after dinner! The strawberry bliss, chocolate with chocolate fudge, and lemon drop cupcake are divine! The frosting is light and refreshing for all flavors we’ve tried. The staff are always patient and provide service with a smile. We feel so lucky to have such a great family oriented establishment in Fullerton!

Our experience with Patty’s Cakes was amazing. The cake tasting experience was so much fun and we loved every flavor. We were so happy with how our cake turned out and our guests said it was delicious. We went back several weeks ago just to get their cupcake even though we live 2 hours away! The price is definitely affordable and fair. You can’t go wrong with Patty’s Cakes!

My family and Patty go way back; so far she actually baked my birthday cake when I was 5 years old! When I was engaged, I knew there was nowhere else we would go for our wedding cake. My husband fell in love at the tasting and completely blown away by how yummy the cake flavors were. Patty was super sweet in answering all our questions and making sure we were comfortable with our selections. The finished product was a sensation that many friends and family are STILL talking about.
I love that their cakes are super light and not super sweet.

Wow! I love the cake and cupcakes from here! When I was first searching for a place to get my wedding cake, I picked this place to try because it was one of the cheaper places that didn’t look like a cake you’d get from the market. I had my reservations because it seems like it was just a cupcake shop instead of a real bakery. But boy was I wrong! I’m really not a cake person but this is probably one of the best cakes I’ve ever tried. I love that their cakes are super light and not super sweet (I actually hate super sweet cakes). The banana flavor is the BEST (in my opinion) with their regular icing. The lemon flavor was also outstanding. All the other flavors- like chocolate, red velvet, etc were also delicious but banana and lemon is definitely the best. The cake was so amazing that we actually bought some more cupcakes when we went back to return the cupcake pillars used for our wedding cake. I’ve posted a pic of our wedding cake…the flowers on the cake were from our florist and the cake topper was from Etsy…I would definitely come back!

Patty’s Cakes is hands down THE best and was the easiest vendor to say yes to. From the beginning of the tasting, Patty was so sweet. She talked through popular flavors combos and possible designs with my husband and I. We ended up picking a 3 tier cake (and a sheet cake to cut in the back for guests); white cake with raspberry filling and lemon cake with lemon filling. We loved it, and so did our guests. The cake is light and fillings are flavorful…we will definitely be ordering from Patty’s Cakes for future events!

Had a cake tasting for our wedding this year and I cannot stress how easy and efficient it was! Had an appointment with Jacqueline and she had all the desserts to try out ready, explained everything about their process of cakes and gave us great recommendations on what creams work with which cake.
Only spent 30 minutes here and we tried so many different cakes and creams. We loved all of the cakes but the cream is what especially sticks out. The cream is a very light buttercream that is almost like whip and is very flavorful!
Would definitely recommend this place for anyone that likes cakes and potentially looking for a wedding caterer.

I read the reviews on yelp and decided to give this place a try. Wow! So happy I did! I custom ordered a birthday cake and it was delicious! I ordered a banana cake with vanilla custard and coconut filling and it was so light and fluffy! Absolutely loved it! We always got cupcakes that were delicious as well! The butter pecan and banana cream were our favorite! This will be our new spot for cakes and cupcakes for all upcoming events! Highly recommended!

Our wedding cake was amazing! We planned our wedding in less than two weeks and I had a vision for a simple, smooth white cake. Patty’s Cakes came through. Not only was it beautiful, it was DELICIOUS! We had the strawberry cake with the whipped frosting. We (and our family) loved it so much that one month later, I ordered another one for my husbands birthday! We’ve been back for cupcakes since then too. Highly recommend. Note: be mindful of ordering on time and making changes on time. They are strict with timelines.

Wow, these are stupid good. I’d heard from friends these are tasty but had never made it to check out myself. I received four of these as a gift today. They came in a super cute “congrats” box and my friend wrote a card out on Patty’s stationery. The Oreo flavor was a spiritual experience. I liked that all the flavors I received had a filling. Not sure if that’s the case of all of them, but I intend to find out more.

I purchased a cake from Patty’s for my daughter’s quinceañera. The price was definitely reasonable. I love the planning session that helps you with determining flavor and design. The cake not only turned out beautiful but it was as tasty a the samples were when we did our tasting. It was everything we expected it to be. The cakes are fluffy and light. I always wanted to visit Patty’s and trust me they didn’t disappoint me in any way. I am a big fan of freshly baked cakes. I love the fact that the cupcakes are freshly made in the back while you wait for few minutes.
Overall the store is very clean and tidy. The people working there are really nice and have a great customer service. Again, I am definitely going to recommend to try out this place. I am sure there will be many cupcake places out there but this one really hits the spot.

I ordered Patty’s Cakes for my wedding and it was one of the best cakes I’ve had in general. The cake is moist and not overwhelmingly sweet. The consultation before our wedding was very thorough and we were able to pick our flavors to our liking. On the day of, the cake was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. The cakes here are just so delicious. I highly recommend getting a cake with Bavarian custard and raspberry jam. I got my wedding cake from here and multiple guests raved about the cake and said even the frosting was good! We have gotten every birthday/celebration cake from here ever since. Somehow even my cat, who has never shown any interest in cake, is obsessed with this cake and won’t leave us alone the second we bring it out. Every time we have to explain to him that frosting isn’t good for him and he gets super grumpy and tries to destroy the entire apartment in retaliation…

Something along those lines are what we were told during our cake tasting, and the testament rang true! I’m not a huge sweets person and I’m always one to wipe the frosting off of my cakes haha! But all of Patty’s Cakes cakes are a perfect amount of not too sweet–from the frosting to the cake itself. It’s one of the only cakes where I can eat the whole thing!
My MIL told us about Patty’s Cakes when we were searching for a cake vendor for our wedding. We scheduled a tasting and we were pleased with the cake tasting and service we received! We went with red velvet for our wedding cake and it was absolutely delicious! We had a 5 tier cake with simple horizontal lines (our florist added flowers around the cake) for a guest count of about 262 that totaled to be $1045. Some guests asked if our cake was fake and if only one layer was real – it was perfect!
We rescheduled our wedding multiple times due to COVID, and Philip was super accommodating each time! Thank you Philip and the Patty’s Cakes team!
Not only did the cake look and taste incredible, but the entire experience was wonderful as well.

From the tasting, where we were able to sample several flavors and come up with the perfect combination for us, to the delivery on our wedding day everything went seamlessly. They were professional, fairly priced, easy to work with, and Patty herself was a joy to get to know. During our initial consultation Philip made us understand that this was OUR wedding and they would make the cake exactly how we wanted it. They provided excellent choices for cakes and fillings; we personally went with Vanilla Bavarian Custard and Strawberry fruit filling. Our three-tiered cake was an instant hit, and to this day we continue to receive compliments about how great it looked and tasted.

We purchased our beautiful, delicious cake from Patty’s Cakes. We had 3 different flavors – strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate. They were all so amazing. The guests are still asking where did we get our cake from. I plan to go back just to purchase a small cake or cupcake. Let me tell you, when we cut into the cake, it was smooth and it didn’t crumble. It’s delicious and we highly recommend.
