My fiancé and I are getting married in a couple months, and my mom wanted to get us a small wedding cake for us. My future sister-in-law had gotten their wedding cake from here and recommended it. So my mom and I went, and we were immediately and warmly greeted by Kelli Nielsen. I told her we were looking to purchase cupcakes to taste their flavors and order a wedding cake that was simple. Kelli was patient as I went through the kind of cake I wanted, which I had found on their website. She took her time to get all the details as well as waited as my mom and I made decisions regarding picking up the cake. It was an easy and seamless process! I do recommended looking at their website, as it’s very easy to navigate and understand.
We also ordered a vanilla cupcake with strawberry oreo mousse, a red velvet with cream cheese frosting, a banana with mango filling and mango frosting, and vegan chocolate cupcake with a chocolate mousse. I had the vanilla cupcake, which was delicious, and my mom had the banana one, which she enjoyed too. The cupcakes were not too sweet, just right, and the frosting was whipped, which I liked too. We highly recommend coming here! They also have cookies and ice creams too. Can’t wait to get my wedding cake!

I used to go to Hapa’s Cupcakes until I found Patty’s Cupcakes because they’re both delicious and the Vegan cupcakes are the same size as all of the others. We ordered a custom made sheet cake for my baby’s birthday. The party was on Sunday, but we picked it up Saturday night at 8:30pm. We kept it in our fridge until about 2pm Sunday and left it on display and served it at 5pm. The cake was absolutely perfect, still moist and just delicious. We loved our experience with Patty’s Cakes and Desserts! We had our tasting about 5 months before our wedding and it was the best tasting experience we had. The day of our wedding, they showed up on time and the cake was beautiful and tasty! We tried a few other bakers, but nothing compared to the cake we had with them. These might be the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. There are so many flavors, including gluten-free (20) and vegan (21) options. As someone with a dairy allergy, I don’t usually get that many options for treats like this. The cupcakes were moist and perfectly sweet. They have all flavors available daily until they’re sold out, so you can order whichever flavors you like!

Overall, my husband and I had a great experience with choosing Patty’s Cakes for our wedding cake! We ordered a 3 tiered pecan flavored cake with vanilla custard filling and requested the “naked” look for the design of the cake. They delivered the cake the day of wedding which relieved the worry of how it would get there. The cake was honestly the best cake I have ever tasted and I am really happy we went with them! We would 100% recommend this place for anyone looking for a wedding cake!

So grateful that we had Patty’s Cakes create our perfect wedding cake! They were highly recommended by Our event coordinator LeeAnn from Summit house and they did not disappoint! The cake is super moist and light and just the right amount sweetness. Even my husband, who is NOT a cake guy, loved the cake! We did a lemon raspberry cake and a strawberry cake with strawberry jam and mousse. Would highly recommend them for your wedding or birthday bash! Patty’s Cakes did our wedding cake – 5 tiers with alternating flavors of strawberry and mango with cream cheese. Our guests loved our cake! For our top tier we did guava with cream cheese, which tasted SO delicious during our tasting.. unfortunately our venue served the top tier (you know the one you’re supposed to freeze until your 1 year anniversary), so we came to get a guava cream cheese cupcake after the wedding. Anyway, they made the whole process easy & painless and delivered on time! The only thing is they don’t do floral decorations, which we didn’t know and makes sense that the wedding florist does it. And we were given until a couple of days after the wedding to drop off the cake stands / pieces back to them. Thank you so much Patty and Patty’s Cakes!

Recently placed a semi-large order for a birthday party. I took a chance with Patty’s Cakes and Desserts solely based on the rave reviews from my fellow Yelpers. Couldn’t have made a better decision! I made an initial inquiry on their website about availability and some initial questions about my proposed order and pricing. I was connected with Paulina U. She was OUTSTANDING to work with from beginning to end. Kind, patient with all of my many questions, and quick to respond. Paulina made the process to place an order simple and stress free. The professionalism and organization between our interactions validated for me their expertise in their cakes and handling orders for events/special occasions.
My party was on a Sunday and the Patty’s Cakes and Desserts is closed on Sunday. This proposed a small hiccup in my plans, but everything else about the ordering process and their offerings checked off all of the boxes for me. I scheduled to pick up my order on the Saturday prior to my event, and though we did store a cake and several cupcakes overnight, they tasted super fresh and moist the next day as if they had just been prepared. Our order consisted of
– 8″ chocolate cake with Peanut butter mousse. (minor custom design)
– a dozen mini cupcakes (lemon blueberry, neapolitan, s’mores, and chocolate with oreo)
– 7 standard sized cupcakes (2 chocolate with oreo, 2 s’mores cupcake, chocolate with peanut butter mousse, chocolate with vanilla mousse, and a white razzle)
– 2 vegan cupcakes (vegan chocolate with chocolate fudge and vegan chocolate with chocolate mousse)
Another deciding factor of booking with Patty’s Cakes and Desserts were their vegan and gluten-free offerings. Their ability to cater to the different diets and allergies in our group also made them a definite choice and one-stop shop for my group’s needs. Aside from their moist and light cake, their frosting is true to their claim of also being light and airy. It was not a rich, overly sweet buttercream. I tend to not like buttercream frosting (or most frosting on cakes/cupcakes), but I found the frosting from Patty’s Cakes and Desserts to be absolute perfection.
The quality and taste of Patty’s Cakes and Desserts is undeniable. For that reason, I would reorder if I needed a cake for an event in that area of OC.

I am so happy with our wedding cake received on March 18th! We ordered the largest 2 tier cake and a sheet cake to be delivered to the site. The guests loved the cake and we even had leftover from the two tier. Actually we had the cake over the course of the week because there was a lot and this is the reason why I would recommend this bakery to anyone. The cake was still delicious and moist after 5 days even after being left overnight in a fridge without coverage! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cake or their other desserts. They have so many flavors and are so accommodating. Most of my correspondence was with Jacqueline and she was very prompt and friendly in responses. Delivery was timely and text notifications were used to make sure you knew exact timing as well.

Ordered two cupcakes with Uber Eats, a Chocolate with Chocolate Fudge Cupcake and a Red Velvet and Cream Cheese Mousse Cupcake. They were probably the best cupcakes I’ve ever had in my life! They weren’t super sugary which is good because regular cupcakes dry out my mouth from all the sugar so I can’t eat more than 2. Delicious cupcakes! My husband got me the Elvis cupcake, very moist, and the frosting! I usually take most the frosting off of cupcakes because it’s too sweet, not this frosting it was so light, fluffy, just the right sweetness, and you can taste the peanut butter in it! Looking for some sweets after dinner with some friends and googled vegan sweets and Patty’s Cakes popped up. Walked into this cute little shop and was greeted right away with a smile. The staff was very helpful and they have lots of vegan options to choose from. They even give you instructions on how to handle the box of treats with care so they make it safely to their destination. Took home to surprise my father and we enjoyed them with some tea. I love Patty’s cupcakes. I have celiac disease so I have a hard time finding desserts that actually taste good and won’t make me sick. They have a pretty large selection of gluten-free cupcake options. They taste just as good or better than regular cupcakes. The staff is so kind every single time we go there. And the cupcakes never disappoint. The place is incredibly clean too. And the cupcakes are so pretty! My daughter loves the sugar cookies with sprinkles too! I called in at 5:30pm before driving over to make sure they had chocolate and vanilla cupcakes still available. We had gone the weekend prior around 8pm and those flavors were already sold out. I can see why these cupcakes are so highly rated! The cupcakes are frosted to order (so there was about a 20 minute wait for my cupcakes after I ordered). They are moist and flavorful without being too sweet. My mom is hard to impress and even she liked the red velvet with nutella cream cupcake. The white with vanilla mousse and chocolate with chocolate fudge got two thumbs up from my nieces. The store also does custom cakes so I’m excited to try them out for one. We got married on 1/23 of this year, and we loved our wedding cake! It was a 3-tiered Butter Pecan cake with Bavarian Cream filling and cream cheese icing. My work had an anniversary celebration, and the company ordered 4 dozen cupcakes. I had the opportunity to try 3 different flavors: PB Bacon, Banana with Vanilla Cream, and strawberry. The presentation is amazing, the cupcakes are very moist and soft, the creams are delicious and tastes really light. No one had any complaints, only good things to say. A few people at work asked for the contact information so they can purchase them for future parties.
