We had the dozen of mini cupcakes. You get to pick 4 flavors. We got the vanilla Nutella, banana with vanilla cream, red velvet with cream cheese mouse, and the chocolate Oreo. THEY WERE ALL SO DELICIOUS! Everyone must definitely try.
The only con is that it is pricey. This is a good thing for me though, otherwise I would be there every week.

Patty’s Cakes was part of our venue package. It’s easy to schedule the cake tasting and the process was quick and easy. We decided on red velvet with raspberry filling for our wedding cake. It was a delicious cake that people raved about. It’s not sweet and very moist. The staff were very friendly as well. We will come back soon for cupcakes!

Our guests loved the unique mango filled cake. Also, Patty made the top layer gluten-free, which we needed for those with gluten allergies, including me, the bride! I would highly recommend Patty’s Cakes!

They have a wide selection of flavors, which I loved. We bought the confetti cake which was so moist and the frosting was delicious. We also tried the following cupcakes: chocolate with Oreo mousse, red velvet with cream cheese mousse, white with Nutella, and the banana with vanilla cream.
We were not a fan of the confetti cake but we felt the frosting and the moist cake was worth going back to try other flavors. The red velvet was so good we just weren’t fans of the cream cheese mouse, but that’s because we don’t like cream cheese. Overall it was so good so we plan on going back. Can’t wait to try other flavors too!

Prior to our wedding pre-pandemic, we were consistently referred to a popular SoCal bakery by many friends but our experience with that vendor felt very impersonal and rushed. Not to mention their pricing ended up being out of our budget. My husband, who grew up in the OC, and I stumbled upon Patty’s Cakes and we booked a cake tasting and were immediately sold. The owner was so friendly and personable and treated us as if we were her only couple and the cakes were tried were delicious and not just slices but individual cupcakes! We decided on the white chocolate marble cake which was so moist and decadent with a vanilla Bavarian cream filling. My husband and my top tier has a mint cream filling. Our guests loved the cake! During this pandemic, Philip was so understanding of the multiple times we had to postpone. We had a small 48-person ceremony last November 2020 and ordered a single-tiered cake to share with a few family and friends and this past November we finally got to have a larger reception with our 3-tiered cake and sheet cakes and it was a hit! We’re grateful they were one of our vendors and look forward to celebrating our anniversary each year with a cake from Patty’s! Highly recommend!

We got the red velvet with cream cheese filling, and top with coconut. It was an amazing cake. The cake was super delicious and beautiful looking. The cake was very moist, and not overly sweet. The filling was soft, creamy and melt with every bite!

I was looking for a cupcake place and found Patty’s Cakes on here. This has been my go to cupcake place for the past 5 years. So this review is long overdue. They have an enormous range of cupcake flavors that comes in standard, vegan and gluten-free options. Their cupcakes are bigger than most places and are $3.75 each. They also have mini size cupcakes for a dozen $24. The cupcakes are always moist even after the next day. Frostings delicious and fluffy. We come here whenever we want the good stuff. Parking is limited but you can find street parking around the neighborhood. Staff is always helpful friendly and if you do a Yelp Check-In you get 1 free cupcake with purchase of 3 regular size cupcakes. You can order online and they offer local delivery. Highly recommend this place!

These cupcakes are definitely better than the cupcakes from another place that won’t be named, but it’s very famous. That place is over rated, but Patty’s are the right amount of sweetness and very moist and soft. They also had more flavors than I could get at one time, but will definitely be back to check out the other flavors. The Chocolate Caramel Salty Cupcake definitely lives up to the hype! No disappointment there. So worth it!

Patty, if you’re reading this I’m actually in love with you. I love everything about their cupcakes! I haven’t gone to the physical location yet, but I used door dash when I was craving cupcakes one day. This is truly my ideal cupcake. The frosting is sooo fluffy I’ve literally googled how to make it way too many times but nothing looks the same. The cake its self was very moist – even after being in the fridge for a day or two, it was all the same consistency as it was first delivered. *chefs kiss* it’s not too sweet either but definitely fulfills any sweet tooth of mine. You’ve definitely gained a customer for life.

Yummy! This place is probably my top three favorite dessert places in orange county. There are so many good bakeries in Orange County and I would have to say they are the most consistent, have reasonable pricing, and always very friendly. They have the most unique flavors and I’m pretty sure I have tried every single flavor. Everything is good here, my favorite are the mini cupcakes. Favs: all their banana ones, all their chocolate ones, anything mousse, banana split, their Oreo ones, and honestly every flavor Is crazy good. Always baked perfectly & never dry. Would recommend for all events or if you’re craving sweets. Seriously sooo sooo good.

We decided to go with Patty’s Cakes because I’ve had their cupcakes before, and they are outstanding! We went in for the cake tasting and Philip was great. He was very helpful and professional. On the day of the wedding, Philip showed up on time to the wedding, and set up the table for us. We ordered cupcakes and a cake, and when it was time for cake, the cupcakes were gone in heartbeat! After trying several bakeries around my neighborhood, I decided to drive to Patty’s Cakes in Fullerton. With excellent customer service and 50 standard cupcake flavors, carefully divided into different categories and flavor combinations. Including gluten-free and vegan options. Additionally, she offers cake balls, cookies, and cakes.
Pros: The cupcakes are moist, fresh, and incredibly fluffy in every bite. The toppings are creamy, velvety, and not overly sweet. Keep well in the fridge for a day or two if you manage not to eat them all in one sitting ;). I would say the ratio of cake-to-filling is pretty well balanced. The cupcakes are baked throughout the day, but the toppings and fillings are added until you order.
Cons: I prefer natural and seasonal ingredients such as fruit compotes, nuts, and cream fillings in my desserts. Due to the food coloring, I was disappointed by the Blueberry Bliss and the Banana Strawberry cupcakes with a lousy after-taste flavor. Having said that I understand the difficulty of having fresh fruits year-round and the need to substitute some ingredients.
After my first visit, I have gone back a few times to try different flavors and give a fair review. The service and cupcakes have been consistent. I recommend “Patty’s Cupcakes.” For her quality, freshness, and competitive prices.
Customer Service: Excellent service and very helpful in explaining the ordering process and answering any questions.
Cleanliness: Spotless

I went here to get some cupcakes for my sons 1st birthday and a little smash cake for him. Definitely wouldn’t come here to get items for a cake smash because it’s a little pricey for something that’s “wasted.” However, just for eating this place was great!! They had a lot of flavors and complex pairing and it was so tasty.
They make a handful of cakes/cupcakes everyday that you pick up same day, or you can have something more custom prepared and come back at a later time. Lots of flexibility it seemed.
The girl who helped me was so nice and patient, she was the greatest! I can’t remember her name but I think she had blonde hair and blue and and she was totally great with how undecided I was! I kept going back and forth on flavors and she gave me good recommendations based on what I was going for.
On to the cupcakes, each one I got had a filling, which I’m not crazy about but they were good at least. We got the pumpkin spice, mango dream, lemon, white cake with sprinkles (2) and a snickerdoodle. Snickerdoodle and lemon were two of my favorites, but they were all flavorful and moist! My son enjoy smashing the white cake one and ate more frosting than cake, but all in all, Patty’s Cakes made for an excellent first birthday treat. Thank you!

It was a pleasure ordering from Patty’s Cakes and Desserts for our wedding. Got to sample beforehand and mix and match the combo we liked best. In addition to our main tiered cake, they even made sheet cakes for our guests too. We went with strawberry cake with chocolate mousse filling. Absolutely LOVED our wedding cake! I’ve never been much of a cake person, so I even considered not having a cake at my wedding. But when I tried the sample flavors at Patty’s Cakes, I loved them all! I loved the unique options they had, and their cake was so moist, creamy and just perfect! The service was awesome and I love the huge variety of cupcakes and the other yummy treats available! It’s awesome that the cupcakes are frosted and filled to order so they’re super fresh! The salted caramel chocolate and the eclair cupcakes were my favorite! The only thing I wasn’t crazy about is the strawberry and lemon fruit filling, I prefer fresh fruit compote vs fruit jelly and extracts for flavor but it was all still very delicious! I’ll be going back for sure!

Their cupcakes are soooo delicious! Always consistent and never disappoint. You can also preorder and pick up! My girls love coming to Patty’s. Also, their decorations and setup are always on point. I also love that they cary Thrifty’s Ice Cream (some flavors).
