Haven’t really had nor particularly have ordered ‘birthday cakes’ in ages. Sister’s favorite flavor is red velvet with vanilla custard filling – and I happen to have Googled ‘red velvet cakes’ in Fullerton and Patty’s Cakes came up. I / My whole family LOVED IT !! I particularly do NOT like ‘ICINGS’ on cakes as they are too sweet for me especially ones made out of ‘buttercream icing’. This red velvet with custard filling was FABULOUS / SPECTACULARLY DELICIOUS !!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE for CUSTOM CAKES

We ordered a variety of cupcakes for a tea party. The snickerdoodle cupcake was to die for! It was the perfect amount of sweetness and very flavorful. The cake was moist. The strawberry jam cupcake was a little too sweet, the chocolate cupcake was my favorite.

These cupcakes taste yummy. I recently placed an order with Patty’s cakes for mini cupcakes and a 6 in semi naked cake. I came a few weeks prior to sample flavors and we liked strawberry blonde and chocolate fudge. I ordered the 6 inch cake and it was extremely disappointing. Though the cake was the most moist I’ve ever had, the raspberry was barely there, like microscopic and the Bavarian cream? don’t know, couldn’t find it. I really wanted it to be so tasty but the cake was just a miss in my opinion. Ended up throwing it away because just cake with no cream or raspberry is just useless. Stick to the cupcakes. You can’t beat the taste and pricing.

We decided to go with Patty’s cakes based on a recommendation from our reception venue. We are so glad we did! The cake tasting process was amazing and unique. We met with Philip and he helped us find the exact flavors we wanted and the perfect style of cake. He was very patient with us and his insight led us to picking the ideal cake for our reception.
The cake was delicious!! It was very moist and not overly sweet like other cakes tend to be. It had the perfect amount of sweetness. All of the guests at the reception loved it! We now order our birthday cakes from Patty’s and our friends and family go there now as well. Highly recommended!

I ordered patty’s cakes Friday night for a Saturday evening delivery. The website was so easy to use and schedule a delivery I received a text to mark the location of the delivery driver very impressive for a small bakery. The cupcakes were a hit for my daughters car parade. We ordered, chocolate, red velvet, strawberry and the snickerdoodle just to be on the safe side of flavors. The cupcakes were moist the frosting is so good and not too sugary and pasty like most. My personal favorite were the snickerdoodle. We are so impressed we are considering using them to bake our wedding cake.

Here I thought I already had a review, but ok here we go! To begin with, RUN don’t walk! These cupcakes are seriously the best in the world. A million times better than Sprinkles. Oh yes! I went there and they do NOT compare. I personally do not understand the hype. If you want moist, delicious, & perfect frosting you must try Patty’s Cupcakes. The frosting is light and just right, not thick & sticky like most places. Cupcakes are not filled with frosting until you order them so you can be sure the frosting is fresh & tasty! I bet you will love them. They are all good, but I do have my personal favorites, which are: The Neapolitan and the chocolate with chocolate & strawberry mousse. Do not forget to check in for Yelp check in offer; buy 3 and get one free. I once met the owner Patty. I did not know she was Patty the owner. She came up to us as we were waiting for our order inside, pre virus times. She was very friendly, asked how we were doing and then asked my 3 year old grandson if he wanted some milk. Of course he said yes lol so she brought him some milk on the house. Sadly, she shared a story how of how she had been vandalized a few days prior and that it was the second time :( I hope this has not happened anymore. If you love cupcakes, have a sweet tooth or need cupcakes for a special occasion, or a cake, I’m sure you can’t go wrong here. Reward yourself, and go get a cupcake and bring me one while you’re at it lol. If I lived nearby I would be in trouble! Support a local small business with an amazing love filled owner! I want a cupcake now!! lol Who wants to go with? hahaha

It’s been almost a year since my husband and I decided to make Patty’s Cake our choice for our wedding last year and it was the best decision! Sometimes cake is leftover from weddings or you’ll be able to take some home or give to your guests to take but at our wedding there wasn’t any left! It was that delicious. My husband and I always rave about Patty’s Cake quality service and bakery.

A Divine, Delicious, Delectable Birthday Cake.
First of all, let me say something about birthday cakes.
I generally don’t fancy them. They tend to be an overly iced glob of sweet, that threaten to send one into insulin shock. I rarely finish a piece.
But then I ordered a semi-custom, semi-naked banana cake with Bavarian Vanilla Custard filling from Patty’s.
One word.
SUBLIME.
The cake was incredibly moist and flavorful; the custard filling, delicate and just sweet enough. The pairing of the banana and vanilla…perfect. In fact, something happened that never happened before; not only did I savor and gobble down my entire piece, I pondered slicing off another. But I showed restraint, since this cake was for a dear friend. Oh, let me add that the birthday inscription on top of the cake was beautifully executed.
I look forward to ordering another semi-naked cake, and trying another one of your luxe flavor combinations.
And thank you for making the ordering process simple and easy.

Everything Patty’s Cakes touches is delish. I have purchased many cupcakes and cake balls and they all have been out of this world! I needed a last minute cake for a birthday and the standard white cake with vanilla Bavarian cream and raspberry filling was deemed the best cake ever by the birthday boy….my dad! The whipped cream like frosting is so light and the cake in general is not overly sweet which is preferred! They are very timely and the staff is very kind. Thanks for the yummy cakes!!

Ordered mini cupcakes from Patty’s cakes 3 times. I’ve tried 5 flavors, they’re so moist and best of all not too sugary! We had a small very intimate wedding and I was looking for a wedding cake and honestly it was a no brainer. Since we already tried Patty’s we went for it. I ordered everything online. We ordered 6-10 inch two tier cake (top: marble with cream cheese mousse and bottom: white/strawberry filling with cream cheese mousse. Along with 2 dozen mini cupcakes. Everyone raved about the cake! I loved that they weren’t too sweet and dry. On the contrary it was super moist and delicately sweet. Thank you so much Patty’s, you made our day special!

Every time we head to uptown Fullerton, we have to make a stop here on the way home. To say their cupcakes are delicious is simply an understatement. By far the best, in my honest opinion, is the mango. Not overly sweet, but always moist and fresh is something to look forward to each and every time. We did a delivery order and were blown away by the taste. Ordered a couple things … cupcakes, cake balls and chocolate chip cookies. 5/5 highly recommend the Smore Cake Ball. Amazing. I wish I had ordered more! Cookie was huge and moist/soft. Loved it! Cupcakes are rich and moist. Great texture and flavor. Will definitely order again in the future for a sugar fix!

I’d been referred by my work friends to this place and bought a cake for a birthday and a box of cupcakes for a special occasion and wow! They all tasted amazing! My mom and I were on our way home from a memorial when we took a wrong turn and found Patty’s. We both have a sweet tooth and wanted to check it out. (Especially after the long day we had.) The store is super cute, and menu is extremely clear. Plus they frost their cupcakes to order and their customer service was on point. I just recently found out that I’m gluten intolerant, so I figured I probably couldn’t get anything there. Little did I know they have a gluten free and vegan menu!!! They have 50 regular cupcake flavors, 20 gf options and I think 20 vegan. Not sure on the vegan one. They flag their gf cupcakes so no one accidentally steals yours. lol They also have a warning that, even though they try their best, cross contamination is possible. This could be a problem for some people, mainly those with celiacs, but I love the transparency. The employee working that night (so sad I didn’t get her name) told us that the owners try very hard to be mindful of everyone. Cupcakes were fantastic. I’m surprised to say I like the white cupcakes better than the chocolate, but both were great.
