I ordered the banana cake with chocolate chip filling for my son’s birthday party. It was delicious! I love the fact that the icing is not too sweet. Everyone at his party said how good the cake tasted.

I went in for the first time yesterday and I ordered a red velvet with cream cheese and a vanilla cupcake with strawberry Oreo mousse. These are the best cupcakes I have had in my life, the mousse is very well made and I will definitely recommend it to people looking for cupcakes.

Both our families loved the cake that Patty’s team made for our special day! It looked elegant and tasted amazing. We opted for a lemon cake with a plain icing; the combination was delicious and enjoyed by our families. Patty also was able to make us an additional vegan cake for a subset of our guests. Patty’s has the best cupcakes in Orange County. I used to order a dozen for birthday parties at my old job when I was the office manager.
The cupcakes are super moist and flavorful. My favorite hands down are the lemon drop cupcakes. It has a wonderful tartness and a lemon drop candy as a topper.
You also cannot go wrong with their Elvis cupcake (peanut butter and banana), red velvet or strawberry cupcakes.
They have a new location now which is bigger and I believe they still have the free cupcake if you post a review on Yelp.

I enjoyed the friendly bakers, cupcakes are epic, superb taste and moistness in cupcake. Frosting also pretty awesome, unlike most frostings from tour average cupcake, this one I actually ate completely by itself before ingesting they cupcake and did not have a sugar migraine, overall 10/10 <3

5 Stars! Found Patty’s Cakes on Wedding Wire and reached out. Come to find out the owner was my mom’s good high school friend! They were super friendly and professional during the entire tasting and planning. My wedding venue said the delivery was seamless and the end results were exactly what my husband and I wanted. Design and flavor were spot on. Super moist cake and out guests loved it. I highly recommend calling to schedule a tasting for your big day!

Overall, I had a fun experience just trying out some authentic Danish bakery goods locally. I don’t have a major sweet tooth, so I noticed that some pastries, like the nougat ones or the ones sprinkled with sugar, were too sweet for my taste.

I have followed them from their tiny location on Raymond, to this nice retail location on Commonwealth. Cakes are awesome, they do not use buttercream like other places, they use a whipped cream type frosting which in my mind gives you the “right” sweetness without tasting like you are eating a bag of sugar. Cake balls are to die for as well as their chewy soft cookies, hard to go wrong here!!
