Patty’s Cakes is on our preferred vendor list and we always refer their work to our clients for their excellent service, incredible artistry, attention to detail and fresh, TASTY cakes and desserts. I look forward to every surprise birthday cake from here. It has been a tradition my fiancé started a few years ago. She always does a personalized cake for me and Patty’s Cake always makes her vision come true. But this cake is one I will never forget. It was by far my favorite ever! It was absolutely amazing! I literally had tears in my eyes. Every detail was beautiful! And to top it off, their carrot cake is the moistest and most delicious cake I have ever tasted. For my birthday, my brother had these delivered to my home! And also because of the lock-down, we couldn’t celebrate properly, so this was such a nice surprise.
So the cupcakes…they were sooo good!! I normally don’t like to eat the frosting, but this was light and fluffy, not too sweet and not too buttery. The cupcake was moist and had great flavor!! There was a cream filling in it too, which was a fun surprise. I got to try the chocolate one and that was super yummy too. My kids ate the sprinkles and I believe it was red velvet, so I will have to try those next time!

Patty’s Cakes and Desserts was one of the places that was recommended by our wedding venue, Coyote Hills Golf Course, and we were definitely not disappointed! Each possible cake combination they had us taste was wonderful! Their cakes were soft and fluffy and the fillings were a layer of perfect harmony with the rest of the cake. We ended up taking the topper home after the wedding and decided to eat it before our honeymoon instead of saving it in the freezer!
We also worked with Philip and he was so friendly and allowed us to take our time picking and choosing the perfect cake for our wedding! Thank you, Patty’s Cakes!

We were in search of a dessert for our office birthday celebration that we could all enjoy while maintaining a safe social distance and cupcakes seemed like the perfect individual dessert.
Online ordering is a breeze on their website. Each cupcake flavor has a photo of what it looks like and there are so many to choose from! There are no minimums per flavor/ order either so you can mix and match to your heart’s content. We opted for delivery but you can also order ahead for pick up.
It wasn’t easy deciding between all the flavors but we ended up with White w/ Nutella Mousse, Red Velvet w/ Oreo Mousse, Banana w/ Vanilla Cream, Lemon Blueberry, Very Berry Strawberry and Chocolate Caramel Salty ($3.50 each). Everyone enjoyed them all.
Banana isn’t a common flavor, so I had to try it. The cake was light and very moist with a vanilla cream filling inside. The frosting tasted just like banana pudding. They frost all of their cupcakes to order which adds to the overall freshness of them.
Besides cupcakes, they also make cakes, cake balls and cookies. You can usually find a discount code on their Instagram or a Yelp check-in offer, so don’t hesitate to try them out if you’re craving a freshly baked treat.

Patty’s Cakes was one of the options for the cake vendors for our wedding. I set up a cake tasting with each of the vendors with Patty’s being the first, but after our experience here we ended up going with Patty’s and canceling the other tastings. Our consultant, Philip, was very pleasant and so helpful. On top of that, all the cakes were delicious and so fun to taste! We ended up going with something completely different from what we expected to pick and so glad we did. It was a hit and we took the top tier home and it was gone within days! I definitely will go to Patty’s for other future cake needs. Thank you Patty’s and Philip!

This review is LONG overdue, but I still stand by my word and recommendation for Patty’s Cakes.
I had known about Patty’s Cakes for a few years when Patty’s son (Mark) would bring in the infamous Bag-O-Cake to our workplace. I don’t know what it was, but the sweetness and moisture of the shredded cake bits made me indulge more than I should have. However, this review isn’t for their Bag-O-Cake (which is just as delicious).
This review is for the wedding cake (and service) that they made for us on our wedding day (May 17th, 2019). Our venue had several cake vendors available for us to utilize (without an extra fee), and, to my surprise, Patty’s Cakes was on that list! I immediately told my fiancée that Patty’s Cakes was the only option. We sampled the other bakeries on that list, but none could compare to Patty’s.
Their cakes aren’t sickly sweet like most cakes tend to be (especially the frosting!). They delivered the cake on time and in its full delicious glory. But, what really knocked it out of the park was their service.
Philip was our guy throughout the entire process. He told us everything that made their bakery stand out compared to others, talked to us like old friends, and walked us through every bit of the cake tasting process. We also saw him when we went around for wedding shows, and he was super helpful for any questions we had at that time.
My wife and I cannot say enough good things about Patty’s (and their cakes/service). Their cupcakes and wedding cakes are to die for, and their service is of the highest quality – and that’s just the icing on the cake!

Patty’s has the best cupcakes in Orange County. I used to order a dozen for birthday parties at my old job when I was the office manager.
The cupcakes are super moist and flavorful. My favorite hands down are the lemon drop cupcakes. It has a wonderful tartness and a lemon drop candy as a topper.
You also cannot go wrong with their Elvis cupcake (peanut butter and banana), red velvet or strawberry cupcakes.
They have a new location now which is bigger and I believe they still have the free cupcake if you post a review on Yelp.

5 Stars! Found Patty’s Cakes on Wedding Wire and reached out. Come to find out the owner was my mom’s good high school friend! They were super friendly and professional during the entire tasting and planning. My wedding venue said the delivery was seamless and the end results were exactly what my husband and I wanted.
