Both Wedding Cake Flavors Were So Delicious

We selected Patty’s for our wedding cake and were very pleased with their service and cake. We met with Philip for our wedding tasting and he was very helpful and walked us through the process of selecting a cake. Who knew it would be so complex?! We chose the 4-tier cake with white (vanilla Bavarian custard filling) and chocolate (chocolate fudge filling). Both the white and chocolate cake were DELICIOUS! The cake was moist and not overwhelmingly sweet. Our guests gave us compliments too. Patty’s also offers a free cake stand but you must return it within a few days after your wedding, so keep that in mind if you are going on your honeymoon right after your wedding.

This is my favorite bakery! I was recently diagnosed with a gluten-free allergy. Having a major sweet tooth, I have been struggling to find a good dessert. I decided to try Patty’s cakes via Doordash and thank goodness I did! I was first impressed with their packaging. When I opened the box, they were perfect. Great size with lots of frosting. The cupcakes were absolutely amazing! The gluten-free desserts I have had, crumble, aren’t sweet, and don’t have much flavor. When I bit into the first cupcake I was just beside myself. The cake was delicious, moist and the frosting was just amazing!! So much flavor! I just had to taste the other 3 flavors I bought. Same experience on all 4! I am definitely getting my birthday cake from here. This is my new favorite place! Try them, you won’t be disappointed.

So extremely happy that we chose Patty’s Cakes for our wedding. We had stopped in just one month prior to our wedding to inquire about prices and availability and within an hour we had already had a formal taste testing, we had chosen the details of our cake and received a quote. My husband isn’t a fan of chocolate, didn’t even want to try it but I insisted he at least try it and let’s just say he is the one that chose the flavor of one of our tiers which was CHOCOLATE!!! That goes to show their quality and taste is like no other. I also want to add that I have never been to a wedding where the cake was completely gone until 5/11/19, my very own wedding. Not one piece left from a cake that feeds 200 was left! I have been asked by multiple guests where the cake was from. I recommend Patty’s Cake 100%!

Sorry for the really late review but here I go. So our wedding reception was on May 26th, 2018. For our wedding cake, we got a small cake topper cake and we decided to go the cupcake route. It was awesome! Everything was just like we asked for. As for the taste, our guests weren’t disappointed. We had different flavored cream-filled cupcakes that each bite is happiness in your mouth. So good. If you’re looking for amazing service for a wedding or any other occasion. I highly recommend Patty’s.

Cake Exactly How We Wanted It For Law School Graduation Party

My son graduated from law school this past Saturday, May 11th. Since we were coming from out of the area, I wasn’t familiar with many of the local businesses. We came across Patty’s Cakes online so we contacted them about 2 weeks prior to my son’s graduation. We told them we were coming from a long distance and they were extremely understanding and very pleasant. We told them what we wanted on the cake, the flavors, and style. We were asked to send a picture of what we wanted the cake to look like. We were told the cake would be done at 3 pm sharp the day of the graduation. When the big day came for our son, we went to pick up the cake. It was done exactly at 3 pm as promised. And the cake was PERFECT!!! We were extremely excited at the super job the staff did on the decorations. They matched the picture we sent perfectly. And the taste? The cake was delicious, super moist and tasty. We couldn’t be happier. Thank you to the whole staff at Patty’s Cakes for a job well done. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.

I recently ordered cupcakes with blue frosting inside for a gender reveal. The lady who took my order was super sweet and helpful. The cupcakes were ready right on time, reasonably priced, very cute and tasted amazing (especially the frosting). Everyone loved them.

Absolutely amazing! I went here today for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised! I’m not much of a cake/cupcake person but I was told I had to try Patty’s cupcakes. I have chocolate with mint chip mousse cupcake…DELICIOUS! The cake was moist, topping not too sweet, it was perfect! I will definitely be back!

Today was my first time ever going and trying Patty’s Cakes and I was so impressed at the customer service I received from Cindy F. She was so helpful and walked me through everything since there’s a lot to take in being a first time customer. She helped me pick out a dozen cupcakes and some birthday stuff and I’m so happy with not only what I got but the presentation of the cupcakes is SO nice!!!! I love that they are made to order!!!! Now let’s talk about the taste….. WOW!!!!!! Amazing!!! Not too sweet and I love how the frosting is like a whipped fluffy icing. I wouldn’t change a thing!!! I will definitely be a lifelong customer!!!!

Very easy to set up a time to come in for a tasting. We got to try 3 flavors and ending up going with Red Velvet and Chocolate Chip filling. We even ending up buying cupcakes before we left. The cake was delivered to the venue and exactly how I wanted it. Everyone who had some also enjoyed it. We also had leftovers so when we got back from our honeymoon we got to eat it again. Great price and service and I would even stop in if I was just driving by.

Con- parking not so good. PRO- When you walk in it decorated so cute Every time for holidays. So many choices of frosting toppings. Cupcakes are moist, and topping combos created are right one cue. Flavors are as described in the menu. It’s great how they give you a Pink single box for your cupcake choice. Special : ) It’s fast once you order and customer service is great. Never seem to disappoint. Ok, so my daughter asked for a cake in a bag?? To my surprise, there is cake in a bag. I got confetti it was just crumbled cake-like leftovers from a created cake? Or cupcakes not sold? Not sure but 5.00 hmm?? Bit pricey I think. There’s not frosting just cake. It states 3 cupcakes total. It is so good but I haven’t bought another bag since you could have your own perfect cupcake for 3-4.00. This place is great! Even had my sister’s wedding cake ordered from here. Come see how cute this place is. Pretty childlike memories. Very Barbie Approved! Thank you

We worked with Phillip at Patty’s cakes and got our wedding cake here! It was AMAZING and absolutely delicious. We ordered more for the number of guests thinking that we would have some leftover to take home after the wedding, but the guests loved it so much we only had a few slices left! Love love love Patty’s cakes! Have been getting their AMAZING cake balls for years and when it came time for our wedding this past fall we immediately knew they would be our go-to for our wedding cake. Philip and Patty are SO awesome to work with, not only are their desserts delicious they are amazing people. I’m in the service industry and while obviously I want a good quality product, customer service is a big deal for me and they were awesome! Their shop is adorable and the wedding cake tasting appointment was enjoyable, quick and an overall great experience. Thanks again to all of you for making our wedding tasty and fun!

I came to Patty’s just short of two months ago to potentially look at wedding cakes and designs. We were very lucky to catch Philip before he left to deliver a cake for another wedding! He was informative and gave great suggestions for our venue. We were able to try the flavors we wanted (their red velvet/white and cream cheese mousse is to die for) and we couldn’t be any happier. I actually had to make a secret trip behind my fiance’s back because this place is down the street from my job! My fiance is also a huge Disney fan and we were able to add a subtle design to our cake. We are so excited to serve this cake to our guests and we are positive that everyone will love it. Highly, highly recommend.

Patty’s Cakes was actually our second place while searching for a cake for our wedding. They responded to our emails or calls quickly and scheduled a cake testing appointment as soon as possible. The cake testing experience was amazing because they helped us narrow down the flavors we really wanted. I loved they were able to meet our needs for that special day. As soon as we tried the cakes we knew that was the place where we would get our wedding cake. We have never tried such a cake the taste is amazing. They are very professional and very accommodating. On the day of our wedding, they were very punctual in delivering our cake. Overall we had the best experience and everyone at our wedding loved the cake. We definitely recommend this place. Since our wedding, we go there whenever we visit the city of Fullerton for their delicious cupcakes.

Patty’s Cakes was recommended to me by my mom, and through the fantastic wedding contacts I was working with prior to the planning of our wedding cake. What caught my attention the most, was the family-run atmosphere of Pattys, and the fact that their frosting is unlike any other frosting I’ve tasted. It was a big deal to us that Patty’s takes great care in the ingredients they use to make their goods so tasty and appealing. Our visit for our consultation was also a great experience!! My husband and I had fun as we bonded over likes in fillings and flavors. Thank you Patty’s Cakes for baking us a beautiful wedding cake, and for making our cake experience a memorable one.

Called and picked up a cake within an hour. I have never ordered from them before but I can say the staff is friendly and helpful. Kate was able to reserve a 6-inch cake for us over the phone. We had the vanilla cake with raspberry filling. The flavor of the cake was amazing! I will use them again for sure. Pricing was fair.

I had emailed them to make an appointment. They sent me a voucher number that I was able to use to check-in. We went in early Saturday morning. My sister and I had an amazing experience here. We went in for a cake tasting for a quinceanera cake. Philip was extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We were able to try any flavors. We ended up going with Banana cake with a Bavarian filling. The best, we didn’t think we were going to like this but my oh my. The cake was moist and the filling and icing was yummy. Not too sweet. I would highly recommend this place and I look forward to this cake and will go in for my next gathering.

BEST CUPCAKES IN THE OC…or in the world! ^_^

I took a bite of their BANANA CREAM CUPCAKE and I’m hooked! White sponge with vanilla cream filling and a banana custard icing on top. So MOIST and NOT OVERLY SWEET. Sooo luscious and delicious! I’m not even a huge fan of bananas but loved it!

Ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for my son’s birthday party. My family and friends loved it and asked where they’re from. Ordered online and picked it up at the store. The staff who helped me was super nice and sweet and helped me take the cupcakes to my car because I had my son with me.

Patty’s also offers mini cupcakes, custom cakes, cookies, cake balls and etc. Limited parking in the back, ask for Gluten-free and they have delivery. I’m looking forward to trying more cupcake flavors!

TIP: They don’t do fondant cake. It’s okay. No one eats fondant anyway!

I absolutely love The Chocolate Chipper, The Elvis, and the Banana with Vanilla Cream cupcake. The cake is always fresh and the frosting is never too sweet. I wish they brought back the flavored water they used to have at the old location that was a cute touch. Everything else is great!
