I love that when I had a birthday reward they put a little happy birthday decoration on top of my cupcake. It was very sweet and thoughtful. Delicious Wedding cake!!! We got the vanilla (which had a wonderful almond flavor) with raspberry and buttercream. The cake was beautiful!!! I didn’t want fondant as it doesn’t taste nice and was amazed at how beautiful the cake was decorated and the intricacy of the design. I received so many compliments and there was almost none left at the end of the night.

I’ve been trying many cupcake bakeries in the past year or so and this place is in my top picks for sure. If you are in the area definitely stop by this little gem. Patty’s Cakes was recommended to us by our friend and we were not disappointed. Firstly you would need to book an appointment to consult about the wedding cake you’d like. They have several options for the cake, fillings, etc. which you get to try on the spot. We had thought of our relatives with allergies so we chose by process of elimination and it wasn’t too difficult choosing the flavors we wanted from there. We ended up choosing a banana cake with cream cheese filling. I personally love the combo we chose and could eat that for dessert any day. We ordered our wedding cake on the spot and gave the details of where and when they are to deliver. We had no issues with our wedding cake on the day of our reception. I have no complaints and I’m very much a satisfied customer.

My wedding venue came with Patty’s Cakes as a vendor. The wedding cake tasting was very easy and everyone was nice. I had guests compliment how moist and delicious it was. I just wish I would have decorated the cake with some flowers or something.

We went to a few bakeries before coming to Patty’s for our wedding cake. Right away we got a good vibe from this place. From the tasting to the staff, we had a great experience. The hype is real! We used Patty’s Cakes for our wedding after finding them here on Yelp. I’d never had frosting quite like theirs before and it was delicious without being sickly sweet (unlike too many other frostings that I’ve had). I definitely recommend going in for a tasting to make sure you get the right cake/filling pairing that you want. They also have toppers you can add to your cake (I didn’t do that because I meant to put on flowers…which accidentally ended up not happening, oops). They also let me bring in my own ribbon and add it to the cake, so they were very accommodating!! My parents told me they got so many compliments from our guests, and my face after the first taste of the cake really says it all lol.

We found out about Patty’s Cakes as they are one of our wedding venue’s preferred vendors. I looked up their reviews and since the majority was positive, we scheduled a cake tasting and were pleased to walk into such a cute cake/dessert shop! All the cakes we tried were delicious, not too sweet and they don’t use fondant. I knew exactly the flavor I wanted and I’m grateful that my fiance agreed with me, so we went with red velvet with chocolate chips. On our wedding day, the cake was delivered on time but I noticed a shimmer which I didn’t expect on our cake and wasn’t in favor of it. All in all, we were content with the process and the cake as our guests enjoyed it!

Even though the “cupcake craze” has kind of died down this is hands down my fave cupcake shop. Love that it’s down the street in Fullerton too…it’s actually kind of dangerous having it so close. The cupcake is iced after you make your order, and the icing is light and not overly sweet. Most of the cupcakes I’ve tried have been moist and also not overly sweet. I’ve gotten great service there too!
Added bonus – you can order online, but sometimes the promo codes don’t always work.
I wish they would add some iced coffee and lattes to their menu but other than that it’s a solid cake shop. Hope you stick around for a while Patty’s!

I have been wanting to come in and try the place. It’s really good and the prices are similar to those of Hapa and Zombie donuts. The pastries look simple but they are very good. I had the lemon drop which was really good but I want to try their cake balls. I am not even much of a cupcake person but they are worth a try.

The only time I ever break Keto is for a special occasion. This weekend, one of my staff members will be celebrating a birthday and I wanted to do a little something special for her. I received an online offer that I couldn’t possibly pass up; buy 2 cupcakes, get 2 free!! So I found out what her favorite flavor was and asked my other co-worker what she wanted. We also decided to get another co-worker of ours a cupcake.
I absolutely love the set up of the bakery; it was so bright and cheerful. What I got: two red velvet with chocolate chip mousse cupcakes, one chocolate with strawberry mousse cake, and a chocolate caramel salty cupcake. The chocolate caramel salty was for me.
So I mentioned that I am on Keto; this means that I had to give up sugar. I have had sugar here and there but for the most part, I’ve given it up. Trust me when I tell you that I can tell when something is really sweet. The cake itself was not overly sweet as was the frosting. And when you get a combination of both, it was divine!! The other thing worth noting was that the cupcake WAS NOT dry. It was so moist and yummy!!
I’m thinking that I really want to get some more cupcakes for the rest of the office before we leave on winter break.
Also, the woman at the counter who helped me was so sweet!! Thank you for your assistance!!

first of all the staff was extremely kind and patient with me as i chose an assortment of cupcakes for my staff. We bought one of each and let me tell you these melt in your mouth. my favorite was the banana split it taste exactly like one.
