We had a three tiered cake from Patty’s for our wedding and it was amazing! Phillip is responsive to emails and was very helpful during the tasting process. We had banana and lemon for our wedding cake and all of the guests loved it! We had multiple guests ask where we had gotten our cake. They made sure that the cake was delivered on time and worked with our florist to have fresh flowers placed on our cake.

We got our wedding cake from here!! We love this place, it’s a local small business in Fullerton. I attended Cal State Fullerton so local small businesses in Fullerton have a special place in my heart! We were looking locally for a place to make our wedding cake and stumbled upon Patty’s Cakes. We came by and bought two cupcakes and we were in love with the frosting which was so creamy, rich, and smooth. The cake was moist as well. We decided to book them for our wedding! We had our cake tasting with Phillip and he was super easy to work with. The cake tasting itself was also very easy, though their weekend dates are highly limited. Weekdays are better understandably. Phillip managed to squeeze us in and was responsive to changes we made and responded to our emails in an efficient and timely manner. When our ceremony got moved to a later time, he adjusted the delivery window for us. The cake itself, we got a banana cake with Bavarian vanilla custard which is not a typical wedding cake flavor but our guests LOVEDDD it. We got so many compliments on our cake, and we bought to go containers off Amazon (not wanting to be left with a ton of leftover dessert or cake) and a ton of our guests took them home and let us know how much their family members also enjoyed our cake! Thank you Patty and Phillip for being a memorable part of our wedding experience. We will always remember you for it. You were part of our special day. We didn’t freeze the top tier and gave it away to the best man instead because we plan to come back to Patty’s Cake every year for our wedding anniversary to relive our wedding cake! Oh yes be advised they don’t use fondant here if you are into that, their focus is on taste and flavor which fondant does not really provide. Book them for your wedding, you won’t regret it!!

My Husband and I were very happy with our delicious and beautiful wedding cake from Patty’s Cakes. I found out about Patty’s cakes through the Knot after being referred to several bakeries that were entirely out of our price range. We worked with Phillip and were able to get the exact cake we wanted in our budget. Many of our guests raved about how great the cake was at our wedding, my only regret was that I did not get to enjoy more of it the day of the wedding. But my husband, who had about 2 or 3 slices can attest that is was amazing!

Had Patty’s cakes do my wedding cake a year ago, loved coming to the shop to decorate. Tried four flavors and had decided what flavor my husband and I wanted for our big day. I had pictures of what decorations and designs I liked and looked through a portfolio of samples they have done. They do not do fondant and make all the icing from scratch! Overall, the cake came out cute and it was delicious! I was happy and can’t wait to get my one-year anniversary cake here!

I loved our wedding cake. Many people in my family have opted to have no cakes at their weddings as my family is not a huge fan of cake in general… however it was important to me to have one. With that being said, no one in my family was thrilled to be served cake. Once they tasted the cake from this bakery they could not get enough. It’s a good thing we ordered extra servings because many of our guests had seconds (and thirds!). One cousin who used to be a wedding planner said it was by far the best wedding cake she had ever tasted and another family friend asked for the bakery name to see if they would be the vendor for their event center.

I Love Patty’s Cakes. I come to a couple of times a month. The store is adorable and always clean. The cakes and other desserts are always delicious. They also did our wedding cake back in October of 2017 and we absolutely loved it, so did all of our guests I would def recommend to other!

We got our wedding cake from here. We were looking for a cake that is not super sugary but still flavorful. We had several cake places lined up to visit, and as soon as we tasted their cake, we canceled the rest of the cake tasting appointments because we felt we didn’t need to look further. If you are looking for good moist cake/cupcakes with fluffy/airy perfectly/lightly sweetened whipped cream-like frosting(not a fan of buttercream frosting) – something that is not just completely just loaded with sugar- this is your place. We got a banana cake with cream cheese frosting(more like dense whipped cream with a hint of cream cheese notes) + chocolate chips..and all the guests complimented on our cake. We went back few times all ready to get cupcakes after out wedding already, and we will continue to visit. I’m craving one right now. Yummmm!

We ordered our wedding cake through Patty’s Cakes and were helped through the entire thought process to make the cake of our dreams! On the day of, they delivered on time and placed the topper for us. Every guest said they loved our cake because it was just enough sweetness! Today I picked up two cupcakes with the same flavors my husband picked for our one year anniversary on Monday. They even added a special touch and wrote “Happy Anniversary” on top of the box for me. Needless to say, I’ll be ordering from them for life!

Patty’s serves the most delicious cakes and cupcakes. The frosting isn’t too sweet, it’s super fluffy and creamy. The cakes are so spongy and moist and packed full of flavor. Best bakery in town, our favorites are “The Elvis” and any flavor of the mini cakes! So delicious.

Went here with my college-age daughter after it was recommended by a friend. YUMMY!!!! Oh man! The cake is super moist (I hate dry cake)!!! And you can pick your frosting and it’s frosted on the spot. Soooo many combinations to choose from. We bought four cupcakes and enjoyed every single one. Can’t wait to go back!

Last time I reviewed how amazing our cake tasting went and this time I’d like to review now that the wedding has passed. I enjoyed our cake so much, it added to the perfection of the day!! I’m waiting for our photographers to send us our photos so that I can post how beautiful it looked and tasted!

I have driven by Patty’s many times to the Fullerton station for my ride to work in Downtown LA. I wanted something sweet noticed Patty’s was quite crowded but decided to stop anyway. OMG….what a clean, bright and welcoming bakery. I purchased 4 cupcakes peanut butter with chocolate, chocolate with salty chocolate frosting, red velvet with cream cheese and a lemon. They were all excellent my favs were the red velvet and chocolate with salty chocolate frosting. I’m a chocoholic! Cupcakes were moist and rich in flavor. The cake balls were excellent. I have had others that are dry with no flavor, but Patty’s are extremely flavorful, moist and you can’t just eat one! Thank you to Kada for her recommendations.

This bakery is fantastic! When you walk in the decor is bright and the service is amazing. They have so many flavors to choose from and they even have GF options for cupcakes. My favorite is the GF vanilla cupcake with strawberry mousse. It is delicious!

The absolute BEST! I have been ordering from Patty for about 10 years. She is so easy to work with and 100% reliable. You can expect perfection and a ton of compliments from your guests. Everything she makes is delicious. My favorite is her red velvet cake with chocolate chip filling. I just got married at the end of March and she made 140 cupcakes for the event and a small cake. It was a huge hit!!!!! I have nothing but the best to say about Patty and her wonderful cakes.
