OMG! I had my first Patty’s experience today and all I can say is it won’t be my last! I bought 14 cupcakes all different flavors, and 6 cake balls for my little cousins 18th Birthday. We cut our cupcakes so we all could taste the ones we wanted. There wasn’t one bite that wasn’t exceptional. They were all delicious! I come from a family of retired bakers and wedding event specialists and we all were so impressed! And the customer service I received was wonderful as well. We will be back!

What a wonderful experience we had with Patty’s Cakes!! From our first visit and cake tasting to our wedding day and our first bite as husband and wife! Everyone at our party loved the cake, especially the red velvet with cream cheese layer! Thank you for making our day one to always remember! Their cakes taste absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a wedding cake or even a birthday cake, I would 100% recommend them because your guests will enjoy having these cakes. We got the vanilla with vanilla bean and raspberry jelly, red velvet with cream cheese frosting and carrot cake with cream cheese frosting – on our 3 layer cake. All three were loved!

If you don’t absolutely love Patty’s Cakes and Desserts, I don’t know what’s wrong with you. They have the BEST cupcakes and cakes. My sister got me into these tasty treats a few years back. I regret not ordering my wedding cake from here since everything they make is delicious! Sprinkles and any other cupcake places that I’ve tried cannot come even close to this place.
My sister ordered a cake for my birthday one year and after a week, the cake was still moist! If you leave most cakes in the fridge for that long they normally become very dry, but not with Patty’s cakes! I can’t say enough about this place. Amazing, amazing, amazing!

Patty’s really is the best. The entire process was so easy and the cake was delicious but also gorgeous. When we found out my husbands family wouldn’t be able to make it to the wedding I thought we would end up with too much cake. Not a chance, the cake was so good that our guests devoured every last piece. The price was great, delivery was exactly on time (very early on a Saturday), and the customer service was great. We did make design changes a couple times after the initial contract but they were always extremely accommodating and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about this place and will recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding or any other cake.

OMG this place is amazing. I’ve been here 3x now. The first was just to try it and it was simply amazing. The cake is definitely not dry and it was a perfect consistency. The icing not too thick or too sweet and was seriously my favorite. The second time was for my friend’s bridal shower and they even customized it for us. The latest time was for my other friend’s birthday and we ordered a few flavors. All were just amazing. Definitely recommend for any occasion that requires a cake of some sort.

Patty and team have been doing my cakes since I was in second grade, so it was not a question I was going to use her for my wedding! And let me tell you, it was the most AMAZING cake! From making the appointment to picking the cake, to order, everything went off without a hitch! It was beautiful, everything that I had ever dreamed of. It was delivered on time, without a single flaw. As the wedding went on after the cake cutting, people were coming up to us on the dance floor asking where we got such a delicious cake. And I told everyone who asked where to go! The cake made the best breakfast the next morning also. We will forever use Patty’s as our cakes in the future. This review is very LATE but it’s about time I submitted it. We ordered our Wedding Cake from Patty’s Cakes & Desserts for our Wedding 12/15/2016. BEST DECISION EVER! I (the bride) am allergic to wheat and so is my sister-in-law. My husband and I wanted to be able to enjoy cutting the cake and feeding each other so, after almost a year of research, we decided on Patty’s cake and we couldn’t be happier. The top layer was GF chocolate and the bottom layer was regular chocolate. We had Vanilla Bavarian Custard filling and vanilla mouse icing. OMGosh! It was to die for! My sister-in-law was going to skip having cake because in her experience, and mine, GF cakes just weren’t worth it. She came up to me afterward and said she was so glad she tried it because it was the most amazing cake ever! My other sister-in-law is not GF but she hates chocolate. For some reason, she decided to try the cake anyway and she told me it’s the first chocolate cake she has ever liked! Our guests all loved it and several took pieces home. We kept the rest of our top layer and enjoyed it for the next two days. My husband isn’t even gluten-free and usually can tell the difference. He said the GF cake tasted exactly like the regular. If you need a regular cake, GF cake or both, Patty’s Cakes is the place for you! They did a BEAUTIFUL job and we couldn’t have been happier. Had the lemon drop and a peanut butter chocolate both of them were awesome. Patty’s Cakes made our awesome cake for our wedding back in September. We visited many different bakeries but none really held a candle to Patty’s Cakes. The whole process from soup to nuts was enjoyable, stress-free, and absolutely delicious. We were lucky to work directly with Philip for our cake. He was phenomenal, totally there with great advice when we needed it and helped us choose a cake that everyone on our big night enjoyed and adored.
The cakes themselves were top notch. We were able to sample a bunch of different combinations and had trouble narrowing down the ones we wanted (Their versions of Funfetti and Red Velvet are probably the best I’ve ever had) and Philip helped us plan out a simple but elegant decoration that looked amazing free from inedible decorations like fondant. Everyone at our wedding loved the way the cake looked and most importantly how the cake tasted. It was delicious, and everyone had nothing but praise for it.
Logistically, everything was smooth sailing as well. Paying for the cake was super simple via their website and delivery on the day of the wedding to Laguna Beach was perfect as well. No issues whatsoever.
Bottom line, if you want an amazing wedding cake that looks and (most importantly) tastes amazing, you absolutely cannot go wrong with Patty’s. Having them make our cake helped make our special day much more memorable. Huge thanks to Philip and the rest of the crew!

Patty’s Cakes is Amazing and Hands down the best wedding cake I have EVER had. We went for the tasting and fell in love. Philip was so nice and helpful and really gives his couple 110%. They can literally create and flavor combo you want. My husband and I aren’t choc. Fans but their chocolate cake is so good! We had chocolate cake with a raspberry and cream cheese filling and it was delicious! We also ordered Smores balls for our guest to take home and I’m still hearing how amazing the S’mores balls were. So happy to have found them. Patty’s Cakes will not disappoint!

Had our cake tasting recently and the flavors were delicious. I was very impressed with how smooth the process went in deciding on a wedding cake. Just an update to add!!! Our cake turned out more beautiful than I had imagined… not only was it beautiful, but the flavors we chose were a hit. Lemon cake, Bavarian custard and confetti cake. Each guest got both flavors. Great recommendation, Philip. :) we had guests come up to us and say how delicious it was and that the lemon cake was to die for… it’s not every day you have lemon cake at a wedding, or confetti for that matter, but everyone enjoyed it! We met Patty at an event and I knew immediately she had to make my wedding cake. It was so moist and flavorful and unlike any wedding cake I had ever had.
Before my wedding even came around, my sister in law’s baker for her own wedding fell through. Patty came in the clutch and made their wedding cake.
I still get calls asking who made our cake because they need the number for a birthday or wedding! It was that good.

I realize my review is very late. My wedding was March of this year. I was referred to Patty’s cakes from my wedding planner at Black Gold Golf Club. I scheduled a meeting to taste the cakes and decide on a wedding cake for our special day. We met with Patti and it was a great experience. My husband surprised me with a dozen cupcakes from Patty’s. 12 flavors and each of them were moist, filled with something yummy, and had a light fluffy frosting top. I appreciated that since we were not eating the cupcakes immediately, most of the toppings were placed in small, teeny-tiny to-go containers so we could decorate the cupcakes when it was time to devour them.
Patty’s cupcakes are larger than your typical cupcake. They’re also packed with flavor, albeit sometimes a surprise, because the center of the cupcakes are typically filled with some ooey-gooey goodness. You can pre-order online and they also give you a coupon for a free cupcake if you write a Yelp review. Here’s my review and youbetcha I’m redeeming my free cupcake!

I was taken with how straightforward Patty’s Cakes’ website, particularly with generating a quote estimate. We made sure to have an early appointment and had fun sampling flavors and selecting cake designs. While we were outside of Patty’s delivery range, our officiant lived close by the shop and thankfully picked up the cake for us without a hitch. The cake was soft and fluffy, it certainly held its own against the onslaught of other desserts and food served throughout our wedding. I used Patty’s cakes for my wedding cake this past September 2017. I have had Patty’s cupcakes in the past and they were consistently tasty and the service was always friendly. What I loved most about working with Patty’s cakes for my wedding cake was how easy and transparent the process was. Their website has an easy to use tool to help you find a cake within your budget. The calculator lets you choose your approximate number of guests and then shows you the price in tiered cake vs sheet cake so you can find a size cake that will fit your budget and guest count. I also liked that the decorating is included in the price. Many other bakeries I talked with had separate pricing for decorating and the whole process became complicated and difficult to budget. Patty’s cakes have a book of design options and you can customize them from there. Besides making the process easy our cake was beautiful and delicious as well, it stayed super moist and flavorful even when we were eating leftover several days later! I would highly recommend Patty’s cakes for your wedding or any other event.

I found this place randomly as it is close to my job. I have a sweet tooth and knew I had to try it when I saw it! It is so cute inside and out and it smells so delicious as soon as you walk in! I got a chocolate with chocolate chip, a red velvet with white moose and a chocolate on chocolate and they were amazing!! The chocolate with chocolate chip frosting with my favorite!! Totally recommend this place! The cakes were so soft and I love that they frost them for you on the spot!
