I’m a wedding planner and I’ve been ordering from Patty’s Cakes for a few years now. Specifically their mini cupcakes and cake balls. We order from them for our dessert station and it’s always a hit. Their cupcakes are moist and my favorite is their smore’s cake balls. The presentation is excellent and the taste is as good as it looks.
I highly recommend Patty’s Cakes. The service provided is excellent as well.

I’m not a desserts guy. This place looks a little odd from outside but they’re moving locations soon apparently. The cupcakes are moist, flavorful, obviously created with care and fresh ingredients. Delicious, soft, and just plain tasty. Better than any other fancy cupcake place I’ve had. I’ve had quite a bit because of a group I belong to where a member buys sweets a lot. This is the best.

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to write a review. I’ve loved this place since they opened.. so much so that they helped cater my wedding and now soon to be baby shower! Mini cupcakes, cupcakes, and cake balls – all great gifts (for yourself and friends ;).
Overall very moist, not overly sweet. LOVE that you can make your own combo. Also, love that you can still get the mini cupcakes in the flavors of the full sized.
My mom’s faves are the butter pecan and banana split. I can’t decide my fave…I think I need to go again..and again..to figure that out. :)

I’ve ordered from this cute little bakery twice. I’ve ordered a personal cupcake and a small cake. Both were for a friend on her birthday.
The store is small and clean, and the presentation is pretty. The employees were friendly and helpful. A plus for good music while I waited (Chvrches and XX played over the speakers).
Now the goods… delish! Simple yet very flavorful. The prices are fair if you don’t want to buy a boxed do it yourself cake and I really don’t like grocery store cakes so this is a perfect spot.

We ordered our wedding cake from Patty’s! One of the best decisions for our wedding. The cake was excellent, fillings and creams were not overly sweet! The cake was moist and many compliments throughout even after our wedding were over. The price wasn’t too bad either. Weddings are expensive to plan, and the wedding cake could be something you can budget on: # of tiers, the size of the cakes, design, etc. Patty and Philip were so accommodating, we were really happy with our choices. We chose a simpler design and went with 3 tier cake and 3/4 of a sheet cake for extra servings! Lemon raspberry with Bavarian cream was my favorite. My husband loved the banana cake with chocolate mousse. They were close by to our reception venue, so delivery was smooth and easy. Highly recommended!

I’ve wanted to try this place for awhile now…..I finally got to try it out today.
Chocolate Chipper was awesome! Super moist and the frosting was not extremely sweet like most cupcake places. Definitely will be back to try other cupcakes.
Banana cake ball was just alright. …it has the artificial banana taste, and that’s why patty’s got four stars.

Got red velvet w cream cheese frosting- good and moist but wish the cream cheese was sweeter.
Eclair- White Cake, Vanilla Cream Filled, and Fudge Topped: taste like cake and sooooo good! The fudge wasn’t too sweet. Went well with the cupcake! This cupcake reminds me of eating a Hostess Twinkie.
Piña Colada- White Cake, Pineapple Filled, Coconut Topped: This cupcake was a “wow” I loved the pineapple filled in this! My fav!
Chocolate w/ Chocolate fudge-White Cake, Pineapple Filled, Coconut Topped: My daughter LOVED this cupcake!! She usually doesn’t finish them but today, she killed it and ate it all! Hahaha
No wonder they were voted best cupcakes in Orange County! Yes, indeed they are the best!!

Delicious Cake! Everything arrived on time and looked exactly how we discussed. Everyone also loved the flavor, which was a mint and chocolate chip frosting, with chocolate cake. I loved that the frosting was whipped and not too sweet. There was also a lot of leftover cake, which I would rather have a lot of then too little. Almost a week after, and I have had many relatives ask me where we got our cake!

My husband and I first discovered Patty’s through Yelp. We love their cupcakes! So when it was time to pick a place to make our wedding cake, we knew we had to go with Patty’s! We came in for a tasting and fell in love with the lemon cake with raspberry and bavarian custard filling. Sure enough, three other vendors later, no other bakery compared! My office ordered a full sheet cake with our company logo for a celebration. The cake looked absolutely beautiful but we were expecting.. you know, just eh, the usual. We were all shocked: the cake tasted amazing! It was a marble layer cake with some sort of light chocolate cream (maybe a mousse–I didn’t order it) for the filling and it was covered in whipped cream frosting. The cake layers were light and fluffy but still moist. Almost everyone went back and got another slice. There’s hardly any left. I’ll be ordering my children’s birthday cakes from here, for sure!

I’ve been ordering cakes from Patty’s Cakes for my daughters’ birthdays for the past 4 years now and their cakes are so yummy. My younger daughter has food allergies and they accommodate my request; dairy free, nut free, and gluten free. Their cake balls and cupcakes are awesome. Every time we have a party we always order either or, or both. Our guests love their desserts. They always ask me where I buy them from. Bethany usually takes my order and she’s so sweet. Patty’s cakes are not only the best in town but Patty and her staff is more than just friendly, they will go out of their way to be sure you are happy and everything is done right. I mostly get their cupcakes, love the lemon drop, so light and I’m sure has fewer calories. My husband likes the choc. with choc. fudge. If we ever have a party to need a cake she will be the first to call. Until then, we will just be regular cupcake purchasers. We have known Patty for at least 30 years and she is just a sparkle of joy. We wish her and staff many more years of success.

Patty’s cakes are amazing. I have never seen an owner have so much love for their customers like Patty. She hugged me on her birthday. She is now part of our family. My wife asked for a certain shade of red for her cake and Patty was right on it. We now go to Patty’s cake for all our cakes and cake balls. Can’t wait to get my daughters and sister in law cake this week. Some family members are not cake eaters but when they had Patty’s cake they can’t stop eating it. Patty keeps up the good work. I’m surprised I haven’t written a review yet. I booked Patty’s Cakes for my sister’s wedding back in September of 2013 and I’m still drooling over the cake! BY FAR the best cake, cupcake, any type of cake that has entered my mouth. It was just so moist, flavorful, and most importantly, it doesn’t leave you feeling heavy! If you know me, I am a huge dessert fan, and I’m pretty sure I ate 15% of that cake (I was maid of honor, of course, I took the leftovers home!)
Working with them to create my sister’s wedding cake went deliciously smooth. Not only do they have an extensive list of credentials that include The Knot & Wedding Wire, but they were easy to communicate through e-mail, phone and so very helpful and friendly in person. My sister lives in Seattle and was having her wedding down in Orange County, so you can imagine how hectic it could be to have to bounce back and forth between the two parties.
They really worked with us and my sister’s budget and came up with a beautifully delectable cake that I still dream about. I am now getting married and of course, Patty’s Cakes was a no brainer. UNFORTUNATELY, they don’t deliver to LA so I’m going to have to settle for something else… but if you’re having a wedding in the areas they deliver to, this should be a no-brainer. Try one of their cupcakes and it’s almost a guarantee you won’t look anywhere else.
* My sister even ordered a dozen cupcakes over the phone from Seattle for my birthday. I had to drive from LA to pick them up myself… but it was worth every moment in traffic.

I absolutely love their cupcakes! I work in the sales industry and pick up things like cupcakes for clients sometimes and was looking for someplace near my location and stumbled upon Patty’s Cakes. Honestly wasn’t sure about its current location, because it was off the beaten path, BUT I’m so glad I found them! An amazing tender cake that is filled without the super sweet buttercream frosting. Cupcakes are not my favorite kinds of dessert. In fact, they are not even on my top 10 list. Well, Patty Cakes and Desserts in Fullerton made me the best cupcake that I have ever had in my life!! So happy that they were still open by the time we found them. They were located in an old looking shopping center plaza in Fullerton. They will be moving to a brand new location though which will be closer to our relatives place. Yay!!!
I took my wife here along with 3 of our nieces. I came here because I wanted to try their Elvis cupcake and their Banana Split cupcake. Unfortunately, they were sold out. Turned out to be a good thing because I tried their Dos PB & J cupcake. It tasted AMAZING!!!!!!!!! Like a party in my mouth incredible!! If you are a peanut butter and jelly fan, then I highly recommend trying this cupcake!! I took a bite off from some of the other cupcakes the girls ordered. I thought they were all fine, but none of them gave me the 5 star satisfaction of my Dos PB & J!!!
I look forward to them opening up at their new location in the Summer. Till then, I will just savor the sweet memories.

So I ordered 3 tier cake for my wedding on April 9, 2016. We ordered 3 flavors : chocolate with chocolate fudge, vanilla with vanilla Bavarian custard, red velvet with cream cheese mousse. The staff was nice, and responsive. I usually got reply within 24 hours. The service is good, they’re on time. the wedding cake was so pretty, well-designed like the way I want. The taste was wonderful, everyone loves the cake. Actually the position for the order of the cake was not like we asked before but still, they made the best cake ever. Well and I wish Patty’s Cakes could ship the cake to our wedding venue. But thank you Patty’s Cakes for making our wedding complete! Would recommend to people and would buy from you again sometimes :)

Delicious gluten free cupcake options! You can order what your heart desires and everything is amazing. Favorites include the chocolate fudge eclair, strawberry, coconut, and chocolate chip mint cupcakes. Not a bad drive from Disneyland either. Just make sure you order ahead so that you are not sad when you arrive and they have sold out of their GF cupcakes!
