We went cake taste hopping and this place was the best by far! We were given three different cake flavors and about 10 different frosting flavors to choose and mix and taste. The owner was there and gave us recommendations on mixing a couple different flavors together and everything was so delicious!
We ended up picking a different flavor for each layer of our wedding cake because we couldn’t just choose one. The cake was beautiful and amazing.
Meant to mention this place was at least $200 cheaper then the next cheapest place and the customer service and flavors were better than everywhere else!

I’m seriously in love with this place!!! I use to live in Anaheim and now I live in Hesperia and I don’t mind going all the way to Fullerton for a red velvet cupcake…that is my fav flavor…the Elvis is great too!! And the lemon razzle omg so delicious…but every time I go I just gotta have a red velvet one and another flavor…I wish I lived closer so I can go everyday lol…i recommend this place for everyone…nicest people ever that work there…make u feel like family!!!

Today was my first time trying cupcakes from Patty’s. I ordered six different types of cupcakes for my family and they are delicious! I tried the banana with vanilla cream frosting. The cupcake was so moist. It was perfect. This is the place to get your cupcake fix. I will be back! The customer service was great!

A friend bought me an assorted mix of cupcakes for my birthday. Sooooo good! Red velvet and the peanut butter/bacon one were my favorites. Lots of frosting but surprisingly very light, not too sweet. Definitely, have to go back!

I needed some cupcakes and the first two places I went to had gone out of business so I found Patty’s online. What a great find! I was happy to pick the flavors right then; not to have to pick from “what was left at the end of the day.” And the cupcakes were moist and delicious. The chocolate with chocolate frosting & lemon/raspberry were my favorites.

After having a horrible experience with another cake vendor leaving us out to dry, I was left with only a week to find a new cake topper for our wedding. Patty’s Cakes came to the rescue! It was a simple order with delivery right down the street. Although they were completely booked (a week out – I wonder why??) they still squeezed in our 6 inch double layer cake and made it look gorgeous.
Pricing was reasonable and cake was delicious.
Their frosting is more of the whipped cream fashion – not the sugary sweet, overly saccharin kind like Costco frosting.

We ordered and customized our wedding cake with Patty’s Cakes & Desserts and the experience was smooth and easy. We did not want a cake that had too much sugar or tasted of fondant. Patty’s buttercream was smooth and fluffy and not overpowering with sugar. Their cakes and custard (white cake & custard was what we ordered) was simple and classy without being overly sweet as well.
We came 2 weeks before our wedding date to pay our balance and I indicated I wanted the fruits on my cake arranged a certain way. Although the salesperson disappointed me by stating they will not alter their process, the day of the wedding, the cake was delivered exactly as I had requested. I appreciate the little details and efforts put into making a bride’s vision a reality.
Taste, design, execution – all were 5 star experiences. I would come back to Patty’s for my future events

I’m an incredibly picky, Celiac Disease-ridden rude customer. Bethany at Patty’s Cakes went out of her way to help me make a cupcake to celebrate my boss’s engagement and THEN when I came to pick up my cupcake, she talked me through their gluten-free process and showed me the types of cakes available. I picked up a cupcake and ate it in the store. Amazing service, amazing cupcakes, 100% I suggest coming here!

We also ordered our wedding cake from here and everyone loved it!
What I especially love about this place is that they do not use fondant or buttercream – they have their own concoction that they use that is not too sweet or sugary – and it doesn’t take away from the flavor of the cake.
Our wedding cake flavor was half white half lemon with raspberry and Bavarian custard filling. Their lemon flavor is so good it has me craving it weekly!

What a find! Patty’s Cakes helped make my wedding day so special! I need to be gluten free, and they designed a cake with a gluten free top layer, with regular (gluten) bottom layers. I was able to enjoy my wedding cake along with my guests, and it was delicious! I’ve been back a few times for their gluten free cupcakes. They have so many varieties, and they taste fantastic. I’ve been craving cupcakes for a long time so I decided to Yelp a place in Fullerton to get cupcakes. I came to this bakery due to the high ratings on Yelp and found the place to be super cute and organized. Staff was friendly and seem urgent with their customers. I got both red velvet cupcakes that are on the menu. The easiest way to remember is one was topped with cream cheese frosting. I have to say I was pretty impressed the cream cheese frosting wasn’t too sweet which was great this made it perfect! The texture of the cupcake itself was very moist and definitely satisfied my craving. I have other places for red velvet and this among one of my top places to go to. My first choice would be Porto’s in Downey this place is amazing!

Soooo good! For a birthday, I ordered online 1 dozen cupcakes: Choc w/Mint Chip Mousse, Choc w/Peanut Butter Mousse, White w/Choc Fudge, Red Velvet w/Cream Cheese Mousse, and Lemon Razzle.
Did I already write it? Soooo good! The online ordering was super easy. Service in the shop was top notch. My favorite was the Lemon Razzle cupcake. I am not typically a big cake fan, but I will go back and get Patty’s “just because.”

Seriously delicious cakes! Seriously delicious frosting. Patty’s Cakes were so easy to work with. They didn’t pressure us to go big, and they were quite happy to add Star Trek logos onto our wedding cake. The set up looked beautiful! Everything was perfect. They were also VERY reasonable in price. The only problem was trying to decide on the flavors that we wanted! Everything we tasted was delicious. My favorite: The Elvis! Banana cake, peanut butter, frosting, and bacon. YES! BACON!

We bought a half dozen cupcakes in a variety of flavors for my daughter’s birthday. Every single one was delicious! Moist cake with light fluffy frosting. My favorite was the red velvet but I seriously doubt you could go wrong with any of the flavors.
The option to order online and the yelp coupon made this an excellent deal.

My husband and I could not be more pleased with our wedding cake from Patty’s Cakes! It was one of the preferred vendors for our wedding venue, and when I looked at the reviews I knew that it was the right choice for us! We met with Philip and he took his time with us during our consultation. We got to try all of the delicious flavors which made it even harder to choose! We ended up choosing chocolate cake with a cream cheese filling- it sounds different, but Philip encouraged us to get the cake that we love, not what we thought others would love. Also, we also loved that the frosting was actually delicious and soft, not the typical hard flavorless wedding cake frosting. The cake was a huge hit! Everyone raved about the cake and it was the one thing i made sure to eat during the busy night! Thank you to Philip and Patty’s Cakes! I know where I will be going for all of my cake and cupcake needs!!

I had been wanting to try Patty’s Cakes out for some time since they are a local bakery so imagine my delight when i found out that they were contracted with our wedding venue, Orange Hill! Our wedding cake looked so beautiful and was so delicious. We had chocolate cake with raspberry and custard as the filling. I highly recommend the chocolate cake! My husband, who doesn’t like chocolate cake to begin with, LOVED the cake! Patty and her staff were super helpful and super patient when taking my cake order. After the honeymoon, i came in and had to personally thank them for doing such an awesome job with our cake. Definitely worth trying out for their cakes but also check out their cake pops because they are amazing too!

What a wonderful experience we had planning our wedding cake with Patty’s Cakes. The people were so great to work with, they made the process so simple for us. The cake was absolutely the best cake we tried throughout the process and we knew right away when we talked to Patty that she was the one we wanted to make our cake! Patty is the best!! My husband and I met with Patty a couple months before our wedding and my husband actually was the one who wanted to go to Patty’s cakes because he had read great reviews. I know better
then to question my man and his sweets. We scheduled an appt. with Patty for a cake tasting and she was very professional and when I wanted chocolate and he wanted red velvet she helped us compromise and get both! We both loved the fudge filing, our cake was a 3 tier cake with an additional sheet cake for 170 guests and the price was very reasonable. The day of the wedding, we didn’t have to worry about a single thing, Patty had the cake delivered and when my husband and I showed to our reception, there was our gorgeously
decorated cake, just the way I had described it to her. The cake was so delicious the my husband and I ended up with most of it all over our faces. haha! We had some cake leftover after the wedding, but with all our family visiting from out of town, the cake was devoured in like 3-4 days. When we got back from our honeymoon a week later, there was no more cake! We are also planning on ordering our anniversary cake from Patty so that we can fully enjoy her delicious cake.

Bought a few cupcakes to sample for an upcoming wedding. The cupcakes were delicious! We had the chocolate cupcake with the mint/chocolate chip frosting. The cake was delicious but the frosting is very light (similar to whip cream). We also tried the lemon cupcake which I found very yummy. The only negative I experienced about the lemon cupcake was that there was a HARD lemon candy decoration on the top which took me almost 30 minutes to finish eating. Overall good experience and we will use Patty’s Cakes for my sisters wedding. The cupcakes individually are a expensive and cost about $3 a piece which I thought was kind of ridiculous but they were good!

My husband and I had Patty’s Cakes and Desserts for our wedding in February. And it definitely was another great decision that we made. Patty’s Cakes did not fail to disappoint! You WILL have guests telling you how delicious the cake was. One guest told me that she expected the cake to not be tasteful because this is what usually happens in weddings. The cakes tend to look nice but it doesn’t taste right…. But our cake was an exception according to that guest! She absolutely loved our wedding cake (YAYY!) And not only does it taste great but it looks beautiful, which is exactly what you want in a wedding cake. The tasting experience was awesome too. Who wouldn’t want free cake? And we communicated with Patty’s son named Philip and he was especially helpful, attentive, and accommodating. We decided to go for a three tier cake with three different flavors. And my sister was the one who went to the tasting with me and she had a great time. She is now addicted to their cakes because it is that delicious. And I agree with the other reviews that the prices are extremely reasonable. I actually found Patty’s Cakes to have the best deal out of all the ones that I researched. And the cherry-on-top to that is the delicious cake that you WILL have for your wedding if you go with Patty’s Cakes!

Great customer service and awesome cupcakes that are frosted when ordered, and boxed up in individual slots so they stay looking as good as they taste!Because this place is tucked away on the side of a strip mall, parking is easy … especially compared with some of the places downtown.
