Instead of a cake I did a cupcake tower with patty’s cakes… My Fiance and I had went to about 10 different vendors to find the perfect cupcakes for our wedding… Patty’s cakes was our last stop… Time was running out and we still haven’t found the perfect cupcakes… Up until Patty’s cakes… The tasting was great!!! Philip brought us out a few cupcakes to taste… and they were wonderful! Our favorite was butter pecan! that blew us away! There was no thinking about it… We wanted Patty’s Cakes to be a part of our wedding… Thier presenation and service was excellent… Our guest LOVED thier cupcakes… we had no complaints… I would DEFINITELY recommend them..

I thought I had tried the best red velvet cupcakes in OC and boy was place topped the cake…literally! This place serves the best Red Velvet cupcakes in OC. After having had a bad experience at Beverly’s bakery; the staff at Beverly’s bakery are rude (I had to email the owner twice about this issue). Not to mention that the frosting on the cakes was just way too sweet for my stomach to tolerate and I have a huge sweet tooth. After having developed a stomach ache after eating a small slice of Beverley’s best bakery cake. The prices at Beverly’s best bakery are astronomical $85 for cake that serves 15 people. I surfed the web and found Patty’s cakes….this is a gem of a place. the prices at Patty’s cakes are also much more reasonably priced for the baked cakes your getting!
At Patty’s Cakes, their cake is moist and spongy…DELICIOUS!! I found that the frosting was light and fluffy and not overly sweetened. I also tried their cake balls (red velvet) which were spectacular!
I liked this place so much that I hired them to make my son’s 2nd birthday cake. I am happy I found such a great bakery!

Patty’s cakes made mini cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday party at school and then a BEAUTIFUL cake for her birthday party at home! They went out of their way to make the most amazing cake! I brought in some Disney Fairy cake toppers and a photo for inspiration – they made it perfect – even better than I had imagined :) I will definitely come back for all my cake, cupcake and goodies needs! I recently got married in September and Patty’s Cake was our cake vendor. They were amazing from the moment we walked in for our tasting. Our vision was brought to life by the staff. I brought in a picture of what I wanted and it was done exactly like the picture. We had cupcakes for all of our guests and our guests have not stopped talking about them. They are the freshest, tastiest, and most moist cupcakes you have ever tasted! The cake was amazing and it tasted wonderful also! I could not have asked for a better vendor. They were very helpful. I used Patty’s Cakes for my wedding, and had a
great experience. When I was checking out
different bakeries, Patty’s stood out because the
owner took the time to meet with me and discuss
the wedding and what I wanted in our cake. She
made sure to send me home with two cupcakes (free)
for my fiance and me to try since he couldn’t be
there. Excellent customer service!
The cupcakes were delicious, and the quality plus
Patty’s creative ideas were what sold me. She told
me she could do “purple velvet” layers in my cake
for my purple wedding, and it was wonderful. The
cake was beautiful, we had no issues with the
delivery even though the location was in Orange
and hard to find, and everyone loved it!
About their unique frosting: it’s obvious from
some of the reviews that not everyone loves their
frosting, but I thought it was exactly right.
Usually I think cakes have too much frosting and
tend to be too sweet, but Patty’s is more light,
whipped, and not overly sweet. I describe it as a
cross between buttercream frosting and Dream Whip
(the mix for pie topping), and I loved it!

All I have to say is I’m so happy we came upon
Patty Cakes. From the moment we talked to her on
the phone we knew she had to be the person who
would make our wedding cake. The shop is so cute
and welcoming, the moment you meet Patty you know
why. She had a big smile and was just the
sweetest thing ever. My now hubby and I were
totally taken in by her personality which gelled
right away with ours. She was very attentive of
what we wanted and made us an absolutely unique ,
beautiful cake. She satisfied our likes by making
our cake a combo of red velvet and chocolate cake
with the yummiest raspberry Bavarian cream
filling. On top of the most amazing cake , we had
a dilemma with storing our reception flowers and
she was kind enough not just to store them but
deliver them for us too. She is such a wonderful
lady and an absolute amazing baker. She is so
caring of her customers that she called us a few
days after our wedding to congratulate us and
invite us to stop by and say hello to her. She has
definitely become our exclusive baker.. I
absolutely recommend her for any occasion or just
stop by for those yummy cupcakes! WE LOVE PATTY
CAKES!!!!

The lemon drop cupcake was amazing! As for the
red velvet, I preferred the cake ball over the
cupcake. The cake ball is very moist and the
encasing is VERY sweet. With that said, you don’t
have to eat all that “frosting” if you don’t like
super sweet. Just cut in half, ‘peel off some
frosting” and take that amazing bite.
My husband enjoyed the cake balls more than the
cupcakes because he’s a fan of butter cream
frosting and not the whipped kind that’s on these
delicious cupcakes. So if you’re the same way, go
for the cake balls.
Cupcakes = 4 stars
Cake balls = 5 stars
The young girl with the huge eyes behind the
counter = 2 stars
I’m not sure if she just doesn’t know the answer
to my questions or if she’s a smart alec but not
only is she not helpful, if you ever dare to ask
her a question, she makes you feel stupid. Maybe
I’m the stupid one. At least I can cure the
bitter taste that she leaves in my mouth with a
bite of the red velvet cake ball.

turned out even better then the picture they
showed me when I placed my order. The price was
reasonable and it tasted wonderful too! I got a
white cake with real strawberries inside. It was

Oh my gosh! I am so glad we found this gem! My
co-workers and I have been searching for a good
bakery to supply our birthday cakes for our
birthday club. We found this cute little spot and
decided to do a trial run with some of the
cupcakes. The website is amazing with all of the
detailed photos so you know exactly what the
cupcakes look like. We were so pleased that
Patty’s has all of the flavors available for
instant pick up. We decided to pick out four
flavors… planning on trying a little of each.
unfortunately we ate all of the flavor we picked
out without sharing. I had the peanut butter
pretzel… and it was Ah-mazing. Everyone was more
than pleased with each flavor they picked. Two big
thumbs up! We will definately be back…. again
and again.

I went to Patty’s for a wedding cake consultation
and I worked with Patty’s son Phillip. He was
really great and clearly experienced– I came in
with some idea of what I wanted, but I was a
little all over the place and Phillip helped me go
toward a good direction based on my wedding theme
and guests. Then he brought out the samples and
each cupcake was better than the next. Although I
was fully prepared to go with red velvet for my
wedding cake, after tasting their vanilla cake
with custard and raspberry filling I changed my
mind! I would go back there again for more
cupcakes any day!

warm fashion, this is kinda huge in my department
since customer service seems to be lacking these

The Elvis is out-of-this-world awesome!
The Red Velvet with Cream Cheese was moist and the
cream cheese frosting was perfect!
The cake balls were delicious and don’t taste like
the box and frosting recipe from Bakerella. (plus
these guys are the size of golf balls!)
This is officially my go to place for cupcakes and
desserts!

This morning I walked into Patty’s (in my pajamas) and received instant service with a smile even though I looked like a bum! Right from the flood gates that impressed me so kudos to the woman that helped me behind the counter. Being a first time customer I quickly noticed they had no display case for baked good purchases. She must have read my face because before I could say a word she explained how Patty’s works… you order they frost! What a great idea.
I ordered in total 7 cupcakes, and 4 cake balls. Let me start by saying I am a true buttercream girl. If you are looking for buttercream you will not find it here. What they do have are amazing cupcakes with a light and fluffy frosting. All 7 cupcakes were moist, fresh, and beautifull. I must say your p-nut butter frosting is absolutely hands down delicious (even without buttercream)! There was not even a smidgen of refrigerator/bakery case taste on any of my cupcakes, love it!
As Martha would say, “IT’s A GOOD THING”.

My sister and I went in to try out cupcakes. We were scouting some places for my upcoming birthday party and I have found the place! We got the Elvis, red velvet with cream cheese mousse, and the butter pecan. The cupcakes were all amazing! So moist and delicious. And they frost them to order. Deanna (I think that was her name?) told us we could mix and match cakes with frostings since they frost to order. Super cool! And the s’more cake ball was amazing too! Huge and delicious. Great prices for everything. Service is fantastic and the products are great. Location is not ideal, but we found it okay. Definitely will be back to order a dozen cupcakes for my upcoming party. Omg I wish I never found this quaint lil shop. (only kidding) Reason I said that was it is SOooooooooooooooo wonderfully delicious. I had the Smores, German choc. with almonds, and Red velvet cake balls and what a happy camper I was. I stopped by to try a cupcake after seeing all the great reviews. Like others, I would have liked to see the cupcakes on display. That would have helped my ordering process. I ordered a chocolate for my son and red velvet cupcake for myself. They were very yummy. Moist, but not too sweet. The frosting was the best part. Light and fluffy, but not too sweet. I don’t know how they came up with the recipes, but they were excellent. I sometimes take the frosting off of cake because I find it too sweet or greasy, but not this. I think you could put it on anything and it would taste good. Each cupcake also had a little cream filling inside. Yum! The owner assured me that all cupcakes were made fresh daily and you can tell.
I also ordered a German chocolate cake ball to go. I ate it at home and it was absolutely incredible!! It was so moist and flavorful. Full of nuts and coconut. The BEST EVER!
I have to echo the sentiments of other reviewers regarding the space. The place was well-decorated, but small. I would have loved to have had a bigger space to try my yummy sweets. The strip mall has a lot of space so maybe they can build out soon. A cup of tea also would have been nice.
Can’t wait to go again. The service was nice and friendly.

I’m not a big sweets person. My niece brought me an “Elivis” cupcake from Pattys. I honestly have not had a dessert that good ever! I was so surprised I lived it that much.
The frosting was light but flavorful and the cake was moist and delicious. We are going back and are now loyal customers.

with rasberry/cream cheese filling.
We were married at the Summit House in Fullerton,
delivery was on time.
The cake was excellent. The flavor was better than
any white cake I have ever tasted before and I’m
not exaggerating
We sampled red velvet and chocolate but they
weren’t as good
The only thing I didn’t like is that even though I
paid by check in full for the cake, she still
makes you give a credit card for $25 deposit for
the cake pilar stands that you have to return
after your event, otherwise if you lose them or
don’t return them, then she charges your card

Visited Patty’s Cakes while scouting for wedding baker. We didn’t schedule an appointment or anything, just walked in to get more info about orders & pricing.
Space was small. Storefront was probably about 8X11′ One display area, which is also cashier. No seating area really, you have a picnic table that can seat 3-4 for scheduled tasting. Display is mainly cake balls. cupcakes are in the back as you order to go/pickup.
We asked for info and was told that Patty would be best person to give us the stuffs. We waited about 5 minutes, Patty came out with full energy! She apologized for the wait, letting us know that she’s working on a cake for, I believe, Sunday morning. She apologized again that she won’t have much time to spend with us as she likes, but definitely can give us info.
Patty also offered some tastings for us. Gave us the pricing based on what we’re thinking. I ordered additional cake balls.
Patty gave us a demo mini chocolate cupcake to show how it would be dec up. She put some edible mini pearls and glitter on it really quick. So cute and pretty. We also had the regular-size banana cupcake, raspberry chambord, lemon, chocolate, and chocolate and coconut.
Cake balls: German Chocolate, banana, lemon.
They were all amazing! so good and fluffy! The cake balls we moist too. Banana cake ball was a bit sweet for me, but banana taste was, vivid. My favs were raspberry chambord, lemon on both cake ball & cupcake. The banana cupcake was very good too, but I like the cream on top better.
I have to admit that for those with regular frosting, there were a lot. So we just ate it without lol. The cupcakes themselves were good stuffs.
I appreciate Patty’s energy and attention, even though we didn’t have an appointment, we left the place really wanting to work with Patty for the wedding. The only problem is it’s further than the venue than I thought. Wedding is on Sunday, and they don’t deliver to the venue due to distance, so we’ll have to have someone pick it up. This is the only reason why I’m scouting for others that are closer.
If I’ll be in the area, definitely will park by Patty’s to visit and get some goodies.

What an awesome spot for a little treat of a cupcake!! While it’s a tiny place/nowhere to sit. Take it to go and devour the softest, lightest but richest flavors you’ll ever taste. The inside has a cream center of all of them maybe? I had the Chocolate/Raspberry and oh my god was it tasty. They top it with a fresh raspberry over the vanilla(?) frosting which hides a layer of raspberry JAM. Pure heaven :)
Bottom line: The cupcakes are freakin ridiculous!

Service is kinda weird: you order from a menu and they bring it to you from the back (instead of having it on display) unless you’re ordering a cake ball which they do not have much of a selection. I pass off the weird ordering as tried and true because it seems to work for them.
I SWEAR every single time I’ve been here, some douchbag always parks ridiculously close to my car so I can barely get in, but that’s probably just my bad luck. FOLLOW THE PARKING LINES PEOPLE.
The free water looks so pretty but orange tainted water tastes a little weird.
BOTTOM LINE: the cupcakes are freakin ridiculous! absolutely delish! Banana anything (cake ball, cupcake), peanut (butter frosting, topping) anything, THE ELVIS, absolutely lovely.
So, weird parking incidents, funny water, and silly ordering techniques aside, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Wow!! words cannot express how delicous the
cupcakes at Pattys are. The cake is super moist
