Moist cakes and amazing frosting!
My fiancé and I had the Elvis, chocolate peanut
butter mousse, lemon, and chocolate salted
caramel! We both loved the Elvis and chocolate
peanut butter mousse the best.
The cake is moist and the frosting is very fluffy
and light.
We did have to wait a few minutes for them to
frost the cupcakes but it was definitely worth it
and I like that they were freshly prepared!
Customer service was great.
I definitely recommend this place.

I hate cakes, and when I say hate I mean really
dislike. Loathe is more appropriate. But this
place, Patty’s is the best! She got me to LOVE
cake!! Lemon & Banana cake balls rule! Had cup
cakes that rock and the Raspberry Chambord Lemon
cake is the one the changed my life from cake
hater to born again cake lover!

First of all, the smells when you walk into the
store are amazing.
Great job on our ELVIS cake! Philip and his team
did an excellent job creating the perfect cake for
our Social Security program. They made a sheet
cake and used a reproduction of Elvis Presley’s
real Social Security card to cover the top of our
vanilla cake with the lightest chocolate chip
mousse filling. Everyone LOVED it. They use a lot
of frosting, which we like, and it was not-too-
sweet and very beautiful. This cake was exactly
what we wanted for our event. Looking forward to
our next cake from Patty’s Cakes. Thank you!

I wanted something special for our office
Christmas gathering. I wanted to get something in
Fullerton to support my local community, so I
found Patty’s Cakes on the web, and the name alone
caught my attention. Since it was so close by, I
went in and was totally impressed with the way
it’s decorated for Christmas. Every little detail
was appealing to me- down to the pretty citrus
water to drink while you wait for your cupcakes.
The cupcakes were a huge hit! We got the
gingerbread ones with a little gingerbread
flavored marshmallow on top. FANTASTIC! My co-
workers said they were the best cupcakes they ever
had! I agreed. I’ll be going back there for all my
parties, and on the way home from work sometimes
too…

sweet…i would still try them again maybe
something different…cupcakes are really really
cute…and different from most cupcakes…

I was referred to Patty’s Cakes from a restaurant
where I was holding my husband’s 50th birthday
party. The bakery is a little hard to find since
its kind of hidden in the corner of a shopping
center but once you go inside it is nicely
decorated with the holiday of the season and they
have a water canister filled with oranges and
cucumbers that you can help yourself to. I came
into Patty’s Cakes to see how they could go about
designing a runner’s cake since my husband is a
marathon runner. I had never really gone to a
bakery to make a custom made cake so I had no idea
of the pricing. The lady who helped me was so nice
and patient each time I came in. Also, she
remembered me so that was key in deciding to use
them for my husband’s birthday cake. They did a
FABULOUS job capturing everything I wanted. The
cake looked awesome and I was so happy with how
everything turned out. She even helped me carry
the cake to my car. I got to meet Patty the day I
picked up the cake and she was so nice and
friendly. I ordered a chocolate cake with a
chocolate fudge filling and it was soooo good! The
cake was moist and the filling was generously
filled. If I would have known about this place
years ago, I probably would had my wedding cake
from Patty’s Cake. Mmmm, good! I will definitely
be back to order more cakes or cupcakes in the
future! I really want to try their Elvis cupcake. 1/1/2013
My husband and I ordered our wedding cake from
Patty’s bakery, and we were both amazed by the
quality of service, their willingness to
accomodate our unique design ideas, and the
delicious cake!
Since we had a summer wedding, I had a picture of
a 3-tiered white cake with fresh berries on top of
each layer. I brought in a picture to our
consultation, and Patty suggested flavor
combinations that would be perfect. She was
absolutely willing to create our design, even
going out and buying the best berries the day of
the wedding to make sure it was beautiful. In
addition, they adjusted the delivery time to the
reception based on the weather on our wedding day,
so the cake wouldn’t melt in the heat outside.
The cake was, of course, absolutely delicious–
honestly the best wedding cake I’ve ever had!
Their unique frosting recipe is perfect, not too
heavy or sweet. I wish we lived closer so that I
could go back for cupcakes!
So I bought a dozen cupcakes today for my friends
at work, and they were so delicious! I have always
wanted to go to a cupcake shop, and thankfully
yelp reviewers were right in recommending this
place! I ordered the Elvis, gingerbread, pumpkin,
and red velvet with chocolate chip frosting. When
one of my friends saw the box of cupcakes, he
immediately said “Mmm, no I won’t eat any. I don’t
like how much frosting the cupcakes have…” But
as soon as I described how delicious the Elvis was
to him (but especially the banana bread), he
decided to try it. AND he even ate all the peanut
butter frosting, which he never does apparently.
That’s gotta say something! Anyway, the cupcakes
were very moist and the service was awesome, and
the girl was so warm and helpful in my deciding
which flavors to buy, since I was kinda very lost
haha.
Patty’s Cakes mini-cupcakes could bring the world together; they’re that amazing. We had an early morning meeting on Tuesday with our biggest clients. Since Patty’s Cakes was closed on Monday, Patty offered to bake mini-cupcakes early-early on Tue and open up in time for me to rush them to the meeting, all fresh and seductive. What exceptional customer service! Of course, we at the meeting could hardly understand each other for the first fifteen minutes — but mumbling through mouthfuls of perfect baked goods communicates more than words. Thanks, Patty. Meeting went aces and we’ll be back for more cupcake diplomacy, as well as for our own selfish, “No, I won’t share” selections.
A collegue of mine told me about Patty’s Cakes. I went to see for myself. I was pleasantly surprised how moist and fresh the cupcakes were. I will definetly return to order more cupcakes.
I have never been disappointed here. The cupcakes are great, moist and delicious. The service here is friendly and very helpful.

I found out about Patty’s cake because it was highly rated on Yelp. Yelpers, you did not disappoint! I’ve had cupcakes here and they are so good! So much so I got a cake here – half sheet of chocolate cake with whipped icing and chocolate chip cream filling. I don’t know how they get the cake so light, fluffy and moist and the whipped icing is creamy, light and not too sweet. I brought in the cake decorations and Patty did a superb job of putting it all together. The cake turned out so cute! Not only did it look super cute, but most importantly – it tasted like a slice of heaven. Thanks Patty!

I have tried the cupcakes and also the cake balls and I have to say that they were both good. I like the cupcakes more than the cake balls but that is just a preference thing. I bought the Elvis, Chocolate Salty Caramel and Lemon cup cakes and I love the Elvis and also the Salty Caramel. Have tried cupcakes from a lot of different places and these were as good if not better than most of the places we have bought them from. I would recommend Patty’s Cakes to anyone looking for a good cupcake.

I tried the Red velvet cupcake, it was so delicious and moist i made the right choice my choosing that for the birthday cake i placed an order for that day. I was very impressed by the service provided. The woman who helped me was very helpful answered every question and understood how i wanted my cake made. I’m glad i chose to place my order here. i will put another review next month after the birthday party. The price came out less to what i was expecting which made me very happy.

Patty s cupcakes are delicious! My favorite is the white coconut. I think what makes the cupcakes so delicious is the whipped mouse frosting. I just ordered cupcakes for an event and everyone loved them!

Tried the chocolate chip cake ball, lemon cupcake, choc with salty caramel, and red velvet with cream cheese mousse. Best all around was the lemon. Great frostings all around. Cake ball was so moist as to feel under baked. Cupcakes were good – light and slightly moist, not lots of flavor though.
After reading reviews about the awesome cupcakes here, I had to make a visit! Boy am I glad I came! I decided to try the Elvis cupcake. I was a little hesitant at first since banana cupcake with peanut butter creme frosting and bacon bits did not sound like a good mix, but there were so many rave reviews about it so I decided to give it a try. OMGGGGG the Elvis cupcake is definitely a taste of heaven! Never had a cupcake like it! Sweet and salty and just right! Will definitely come again for more!

I got half a dozen cupcakes of everything chocolate (chocolate chip, chocolate caramel, and chocolate vanilla). Would definitely recommend. I even froze them for later. They defrosted within a couple hours and and still tasted great.

Delicious cupcakes!! I went in there for a little treat for my husband’s birthday, the guy at the counter was so nice and helped me pick two of the best treats!! I got a chocolate cupcake with sea salt and drizzled in caramel for my husband and for me a lemon drop cupcake..oh my goodness was it good!! And when he told me the total my pocket book cheered!!

I am so happy that I used Patty’s Cakes for my wedding. I decided to have cupcakes so all of my guests could enjoy several different cake flavors, and it was a lot easier to serve as well. My daughter and I are on a quest to find the best cupcake in town. Every time we try other bakeries, we end up coming back to Patty’s. We have never been disappointed and can’t wait to continue to make our way through the entire menu before we can say which one is our favorite. They are delicious, moist and perfect every time. The customer service is great, and we can’t wait to go back. Gotta say though, today’s butter pecan cupcake was amazing!

For my mother-in-law’s birthday, we opted for cupcakes so that we wouldn’t have a bunch of fattening cake left over. I had driven past Patty’s Cakes and noticed it right away because my name is Patty. We ordered a six-pack of cupcakes…two chocolate/chocolate fudge, two Butter Pecan and two red velvet/cream cheese.
My mom-in-law and I both loved the Butter Pecan. There is a apple surprise in the middle…very tasty. My husband had the chocolate/chocolate fudge. He raved about it . The red velvets were good, but not our favorites (although the frosting was yummy).
What I like best about the cupcakes is the mousse frosting. It has a wonderful flavor without that overly sweet taste of some frostings. The cupcakes here are way, way better than Sprinkles.

My wedding cake was amazing and I received so many compliments on how beautiful and tasty it was. Patty was a pleasure to work with and truly artistic. She sat down with me to design my cake exactly the way I wanted it and made so many great suggestions in designing my wedding cake. She is so sweet and truly cares about her customers.

These cupcakes are the best cupcakes I have ever had! My family and I have purchased from them a few times..
Best friend surprised me with cupcakes from Patty’s Cakes. Had dinner with girlfriends and the cupcakes were the perfect treat for the end of birthday meal. All five of us were delighted with our choices – chocolate caramel salty, chocolate w/peanut butter mousse and lemon colada. I had the lemon and it was light and refreshing. Moist. Sweetness level was just right. Look forward to trying more from this little gem!
