I found out about Patty’s cake because it was highly rated on Yelp. Yelpers, you did not disappoint! I’ve had cupcakes here and they are so good! So much so I got a cake here – half sheet of chocolate cake with whipped icing and chocolate chip cream filling. I don’t know how they get the cake so light, fluffy and moist and the whipped icing is creamy, light and not too sweet. I brought in the cake decorations and Patty did a superb job of putting it all together. The cake turned out so cute! Not only did it look super cute, but most importantly – it tasted like a slice of heaven. Thanks Patty!

I have tried the cupcakes and also the cake balls and I have to say that they were both good. I like the cupcakes more than the cake balls but that is just a preference thing. I bought the Elvis, Chocolate Salty Caramel and Lemon cup cakes and I love the Elvis and also the Salty Caramel. Have tried cupcakes from a lot of different places and these were as good if not better than most of the places we have bought them from. I would recommend Patty’s Cakes to anyone looking for a good cupcake.

I tried the Red velvet cupcake, it was so delicious and moist i made the right choice my choosing that for the birthday cake i placed an order for that day. I was very impressed by the service provided. The woman who helped me was very helpful answered every question and understood how i wanted my cake made. I’m glad i chose to place my order here. i will put another review next month after the birthday party. The price came out less to what i was expecting which made me very happy.

Tried the chocolate chip cake ball, lemon cupcake, choc with salty caramel, and red velvet with cream cheese mousse. Best all around was the lemon. Great frostings all around. Cake ball was so moist as to feel under baked. Cupcakes were good – light and slightly moist, not lots of flavor though.

I was a little hesitant at first since banana cupcake with peanut butter creme frosting and bacon bits did not sound like a good mix, but there were so many rave reviews about it so I decided to give it a try. OMGGGGG the Elvis cupcake is definitely a taste of heaven! Never had a cupcake like it! Sweet and salty and just right! Will definitely come again for more!

I got half a dozen cupcakes of everything chocolate (chocolate chip, chocolate caramel, and chocolate vanilla). Would definitely recommend. I even froze them for later. They defrosted within a couple hours and and still tasted great.

Delicious cupcakes!! I went in there for a little treat for my husband’s birthday, the guy at the counter was so nice and helped me pick two of the best treats!! I got a chocolate cupcake with sea salt and drizzled in caramel for my husband and for me a lemon drop cupcake..oh my goodness was it good!! And when he told me the total my pocket book cheered!!

I am so happy that I used Patty’s Cakes for my wedding. I decided to have cupcakes so all of my guests could enjoy several different cake flavors, and it was a lot easier to serve as well. My daughter and I are on a quest to find the best cupcake in town. Every time we try other bakeries, we end up coming back to Patty’s. We have never been disappointed and can’t wait to continue to make our way through the entire menu before we can say which one is our favorite. They are delicious, moist and perfect every time. The customer service is great, and we can’t wait to go back. Gotta say though, today’s butter pecan cupcake was amazing!

For my mother-in-law’s birthday, we opted for cupcakes so that we wouldn’t have a bunch of fattening cake left over. I had driven past Patty’s Cakes and noticed it right away because my name is Patty. We ordered a six-pack of cupcakes…two chocolate/chocolate fudge, two Butter Pecan and two red velvet/cream cheese.
My mom-in-law and I both loved the Butter Pecan. There is a apple surprise in the middle…very tasty. My husband had the chocolate/chocolate fudge. He raved about it . The red velvets were good, but not our favorites (although the frosting was yummy).
What I like best about the cupcakes is the mousse frosting. It has a wonderful flavor without that overly sweet taste of some frostings. The cupcakes here are way, way better than Sprinkles.

Best friend surprised me with cupcakes from Patty’s Cakes. Had dinner with girlfriends and the cupcakes were the perfect treat for the end of birthday meal. All five of us were delighted with our choices – chocolate caramel salty, chocolate w/peanut butter mousse and lemon colada. I had the lemon and it was light and refreshing. Moist. Sweetness level was just right. Look forward to trying more from this little gem!

Story: It was my baby-daddy’s birthday, and I was in need of a cake.
Of course I waited to the last minute, day of his bday and still had no cake.
So I googled bakeries in my area and landed on this baby!
I couldn’t get a cake, bc they make them all fresh to order (awesome, but not for my time-crunch), so I got cupcakes! Probably much better than my cake search anyways!
I got Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Mousse, Chocolate with Chocolate Fudge, and White with Vanilla Mousse. All my favorite flavors!
Of course I had one of each flavor (maybe 2 of each…) and each one was so delicious! The frosting was not too sweet but still hit the sweet spot.
And I saw the cake balls which are almost the size of a baseball! They were huge!
Loved this place and will be back again!

My sister got some of these cupcakes for my nephews birthday and everyone loved them. The cupcakes are so delicious! I’m a huge Elvis fan and they actually have an Elvis Cupcake with bacon on it, and it was soooo good.They even have a really good chocolate cupcake that has crumbled chips on top. I love all the different and unique flavors. Definitely going here again and I recommend them to everyone.

I had to pick up a cake for my father’s birthday. It was really late notice and the very kind lady on the phone was able to make time for the same day pick up. Let me just say, the cake was the best cake I can remember me eating. Everyone in the family loved it! The staff was very friendly and this place does quality work. You will not find a better cake or service. Everything is always FRESH! No frozen cake here!!! Everyone raved about our cake. I have had a lot of wedding cakes and Patty’s are always the best and most beautiful.
I wanted something unique in taste, modern in look and that did not break the bank and they delivered!!! I look forward to ordering a smaller version on our anniversary each year!

One word: Delicious!! My sister in law used Patty’s cakes for her wedding, and as soon as I tried her cake I knew she had to make mine too. Her cake is so moist and tasty, not dry like a lot of wedding cakes. PAtty and her son are such great people. They are always helpful and did a great job with the design of my cake too. Loved everything about her and cannot recommend her enough. Best wedding cake I have ever tasted, by far!

I ordered a bunch of mini cupcakes to share with family and friends for my college graduation party. We got five different flavors, and they were a HUGE hit. Everyone absolutely loved them! All the cupcakes were super flavorful and amazingly moist. Service was also great so we had no issues at all putting in our order and picking up the little cupcakes the day of. Here are the cupcakes we got: – The Elvis – My personal favorite. I LOVE the banana cake and how it blends in perfectly with the peanut butter frosting and the bacon bits. I may be a bit biased since I’m a bacon fanatic, but I think I ate about five of these on my own during my own party, haha. – Chocolate Caramel Salty – I think this was the crowd favorite, since the guests cleared out all the cupcakes less than an hour after we put them out. – Butter Pecan – I really liked the apple and cream cheese! – Red velvet and cream cheese mousse – An old favorite – Chocolate/Raspberry mousse Overall, I would highly recommend someone to use Patty’s Cakes for any celebration. I had bookmarked a couple of bakeries in order to find the best one to order a custom birthday cake from. Before I decide on the best place, I want to try the desserts being offered at each place first. Patty’s Cakes and Desserts did not disappoint.
The first time I came there, I tried the cake balls (banana & red velvet). They were SO GOOD! In my opinion, they are way better than Sprinkles Cupcakes in Newport Beach. If you think Sprinkles is bomb, Patty’s will bomb sprinkles. I kept craving Patty’s after my first time, so I found reasons to go to Fullerton to run errands in order to visit this place. The next time I came, I ordered 3 red velvet cupcakes and 1 salted caramel. They were all SO GOOD, just like the cake balls. I am not really a fan of cupcakes, but these topped all the cupcakes I’ve ever tried. They are SO moist and not too sweet.
The last time I was there, I also ran into football player Daniel Fells which was pretty cool. If you love sweets, make this place your destination.

Okay, I’m a wee bit obsessed with Patty’s Cakes. I am the Goldilocks of cupcakes…this one’s too sweet, this one’s too dense, this one’s too dry. Well, fellow Yelpers, Patty’s Cakes are just right!
I had read the reviews for this place months before actually going in. I was driving on my way to lunch one day and randomly saw it and immediately turned my car into the parking lot. It’s a diamond in the rough of the shopping center it’s located in.
The inside of the shop is small and cute, and I learned that Patty decorates it often to reflect the season or holiday going on at the time. The girl that helped me (Bridget? Brittany?) was super sweet and helpful. I told her it was my first time there, and she welcomed me and described the cupcakes and recommended some great flavors.
I ended up getting the Lemon Drop cupcake and red velvet cake ball for myself, and a chocolate with peanut butter mousse cupcake and chocolate chip cake ball for my honey. It was love at first bite! The cupcakes were moist, but not too rich, and the frosting…oh dear God! It’s a whipped frosting, so it’s not too heavy or too sweet. Her presentation is awesome, too. The peanut butter mousse had chocolate ganache over it topped with a peanut, and the lemon had a lemon drop (hence the name) over the lemon and whipped frosting. The cake balls are so delish and huge! They’re like the size of a golf ball!
I know some people don’t like that the cupcakes aren’t on display, but I like that they frost the cupcakes to order.
I made many returns to Patty’s, trying all the different cupcakes, and when looking for a cake for my upcoming wedding, there was no other choice. My venue actually includes a cake, but I had to have Patty make my cake.
Patty was so incredibly nice and funny during our cake consultation. I felt like she was an instant friend! She was so helpful with suggestions of the design of the cake, and was so patient when my fiancé and I struggled to narrow down the flavor choices. I absolutely cannot wait to have my cake and eat it too on my special day!
I feel so fortunate to have such a fantastic cupcake shop so close to me. Patty’s Cakes is my go to for cupcakes and cakes for any special occasion!

I’ve been coming to Patty’s for the past two years, and it is truly the best place for Cupcakes. It is also the best find from YELP! Anyways, their cupcakes are really good, moist the frosting on them is nice and sweet not too sweet just perfect. My favorite ones are the Red Velvet and Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse, hah they’re good. I just can’t stop saying that phrase but honestly that’s probably the easiest way to describe them. I come here quite alot that she knows me as the Red Velvet guy haha. Oh and that brings up their Customer Service, all I have to say is that every time I go they’re nice and always have a smile on their face. So if you’re looking for cupcakes or cakes come here you won’t regret it.

Dear Patty,
I tasted your cupcakes for the first time on Jan. 9, 2013 at a dinner to celebrate my son’s birthday. Your Chambord cupcake was sensational as were all of the other flavors I sampled.
Yesterday I picked up some cupcakes and served them at another birthday celebration for a friend. We all enjoyed the flavors: Chambord, Chocolate, and Lemon. Your cupcakes are light, flavorfilled and simply delicious. The young lady who waited on me was very professional, had the order ready and was a great representative for your business.
