Their Cupcakes are a divine inspiration of delicious, most flavor filled cake and sweet, creamy melt in your mouth frosting. As a self proclaimed cupcake addict I have been to many cupcake places in Orange County and many other places I have visited and these were by far the most moist, amazing, cupcakes. The cake balls were a new thing to me the chocolate banana ones were delicious. Biting into one of these cake balls is a smooth, decadant treat for any occassion. The red velvet was like a highly addictive sin, you couldn’t believe it was so good. For additional incentive the eye candy that is Patty’s son isn’t too bad either.”

(We waited while they iced some freshly made cupcakes for us) I have to agree with a previous reviewer who said although she didn’t particularly like banana, the banana cupcake was delicious, and it was. I loved the sweet and salty combination of the peanut butter and chocolate and the red velvet was divine as well. As for the cake balls, the chocolate ones were truly to die for however I wasn’t as crazy about the other flavors we tried (chocolate raspberry-couldn’t taste the raspberry in it, and the chocolate chip was loved by one child, but the other two gave it a thumbs down) I will definately be back for the chocolate ones though :)”

“Of course 4 days out i am still panicking about the cake for my cousins baby shower this weekend. I called around no one was very helpful. I finally just googled cakes and desserts in fullerton. Patty cakes was the first to come up, i went ahead and gave them a call.
I don’t remember his name, but a man answered with a smile, and was super helpful. I told him my situation, he put me on hold for about 2 min. They were all booked up for this weekend, but they made a special order. He took down my order and put the cake designer on, her name was Patty. Patty was the nicest lady, told her the theme before i thought of any designs she already knew what to do.
Everything was done on the phone, i live 2 min. walking distance and i don’t feel like i need to go for a consultation or even check on it.
I have total trust and confidence in her and her work.

Ordered a dozen red velvets and another dozen of variety. Delivery was very prompt and on time. Cupcakes came and office workers loved them. I had a red velvet cupcake wasn’t too sweet. There should be a picture or label of some sort to help determine what type of deliciousness you want to try. I haven’t been to the actual location but the phone conversation was good. “My now husband and I met with Patty months before our wedding and sketched out the idea for our wedding cake. We took Patty’s advice of having multiple flavors and the combo red velvet and chocolate with Kalua cream was fantastic. Our guests raved over the cake for its beauty and flavor. My not so great servers cut up my whole cake leaving no cake top for my husband and I, which we planned to chow down on our wedding night with a bottle of champagne. Patty being the angel she is made me a mini two person cake that my husband and I shared on our one month anniversary. Patty was the ONLY wedding vendor I had NO PROBLEMS with. My husband hates desserts yet he gobbled two huge pieces of Patty’s cake. Thank you so much Patty.”

They’re like cupcakes rolled into a ball, dipped in white chocolate or chocolate and topped with even more tasty treats. I couldn’t wait to try one! I bought 3 flavors: Red Velvet, Smore’s, and Chocolate Peanut Butter. All 3 had sweet surprises in the middle! My family went nuts over them! “Eddie did a lunch run to Patty’s Cakes just for fun and brought back some cupcakes. I got the pumpkin cake with cream cheese butter icing. Hands down the best icing and cake ever. Seriously. The icing wasn’t too sweet or too cream cheesy, just perfect. The chocolate flake added just the right amount of chocolate flavor without overpowering the pumpkin cake and turning it into a chocolate item. The cake was perfectly spiced – again, not too sweet, but hit the right notes. Anyone can make a pumpkin cupcake, it takes a master to make a perfect one.”

When I found out about a bakery that had just opened in Fullerton, I made a b-line straight for it (thank you Dena @ Hidalgo for sharing). As a local Realtor, I like to bring a fresh baked goodie to a client or vendor from time to time. To be honest, I feel like one thing Fullerton has been missing is a bakery I could pop into and pick this stuff up! I am just happy that I don’t have to go to the “cake nazi” anymore….did I really write that? Well, I didn’t say who they were.
As I was writing, I went straight in to check it out and see who might be running the show (hoping for a sweet baker and a sweet baker she was). I love to support local small business and I was glad to meet Patty. She is someone I want to support.
Ok, the cupcake I chose…there were just a few to choose from but she didn’t need many. She had me at chocolate/peanut butter. It melted in my mouth. The peanut buttery whip creamy topping was so fluffy and soft and just the right amount of peanut butter flavor. The cake part was chocolate and so light and fluffy that it might have floated away if I wasn’t holding on so tight and gobbeling it down.
Her prices are reasonable and that was the icing on the cake for me! Go see Patty! I would like to see her succeed in Fullerton!”

“I love cake, and Patty’s Cakes and Desserts only make me love cake that much more! The cakes and cupcakes are always moist and the frosting is whipped and light. The cream cheese frosting is perfection. It is light, tastes like cream cheese and isn’t overbearing. I used to always remove the frosting from cupcakes and cakes, but I do not dare remove the frosting from anything that comes from Patty! Let me state for the record that I do not like banana flavored pastries, cakes or breads. I reluctantly tried a banana cupcake and ohmygoodness, it was delish! The flavor was so light. You got the right amount of banana without having felt like you just ate a bunch of bananas.
Last but not least, I highly recommend the peanut butter frosting on chocolate combo. It gives you the satisfaction of the peanut butter and chocolate combo. Go visit the shop today and try some of her amazing baked goods!”
