Great cake – very moist, perfect flavor combination of raspberry and lemon, and accommodating service! We were out of state the entire time planning our wedding, and Patty’s Cakes was willing to work with my parents and do the tasting with them, and work with our ever changing wedding day timeline. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable but incredible cake – both in taste and appearance. I asked for 3/4 nude cake and they let us put our own flowers and it was gorgeous. My husband and I went with Patty’s Cakes for our wedding and we are so glad we did. They had great customer service from tasting, booking, delivery/set up and everything in between. The cake was delicious and we received multiple compliments from our guests. Their cupcakes are delicious as well so you really can’t go wrong with anything on their menu!

I needed a cake for my daughters birthday, something simple and cute, and choosing Patty’s was perfect! I ordered it the week of online (super easy to customize) and it came out amazing! I gave Patty’s a try and ordered their mini vegan assorted cupcakes for my birthday weekend! They were so delicious and the frosting was the perfect amount of sweet. There was just a little too much frosting for my personal preference and I didn’t know they had filling inside, but they were still phenomenal! I would definitely recommend Patty’s for vegan desserts!

Love this place! My husband and I come here every so often for the cupcakes and cookies, and we got our daughter’s birthday cake here. The cake was wonderful…we received lots of compliments on the flavor and how moist it was. They don’t disappoint! Highly recommend. :)

Yum! I should note, I am not vegan nor gluten free but my sister and family are so I was trying to find some cupcakes for their upcoming visit. In my experience, gluten free and vegan baked goods can be hit or miss so I personally didn’t expect much…but these were delicious!! So many flavor options to choose from and everyone loved them, I quickly realized I should have purchased more.

We chose Patty’s Cakes to cater our wedding cake after doing a tasting and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. The tasting process was incredibly fun. We got to choose 3 different cake flavors and a variety of different fillings. Every combination was so delicious, and we ultimately chose to do the vanilla cake with strawberry and custard filling. We absolutely loved how the wedding cake tasted! I’m usually not a fan of wedding cakes because they tend to be too sweet, but this cake was not too sweet and was moist and light. A lot of guests commented on how good the cake was! The cake by itself was beautiful as well. We’re so glad we went with Patty’s Cakes for our wedding cake!

Wonderful bakery! Our wedding venue works with Patty’s Cakes and we are so glad! Our tasting appointment was exciting and Patty was there to guide us in flavor combinations and designs. The tasting was so warm and enjoyable. We left being big fans of Patty’s cakes. The frosting is light and the cake is wonderful. Our wedding cake had strawberry, lemon, and white cake. The cupcake combinations are delicious and when we took some home after our tasting, we called to alter our original choices to be closer to the cupcake flavors. The staff was friendly and accommodating and we will be back soon!

I wanted a special birthday treat for my son living in Irvine. I live on the east coast and found Patty’s online. Everyone at Patty’s was super responsive, unusually pleasant in these trying times, and easy to work with. We had Patty’s Cakes cater our wedding cake cupcakes and it was perfect. We did the lemon cake with raspberry filling. It was absolutely delicious. They were great at delivery and they were just always so nice. I think I called Philip about 40 times no exaggeration and not once did he answer the phone with frustration or annoyance in his voice. We set this all up before the pre-pandemic when they were still doing cake tastings and i’m not lying at all when I say the cake tasting experience was the funnest part of the wedding planning. Patty was awesome! We felt like brides for the first time in her office. Unfortunately, our photographers didn’t get the most amazing shots but here are the best ones. Thank you Patty’s Cakes for being one of the only things to go perfect in the wedding.

First time trying the cupcakes here and it was bomb! My fave are the salted caramel and the strawberry cupcakes! I’ve tried the strawberry banana and the strawberry Oreo and it wasn’t bad but the other 2 are my fave. I want to try more flavors for sure. The cupcake itself is soft, especially next day, and it’s a nice soft buttercream topping omg so so good! Highly recommend to try for sure and will be going back.

Patty’s Cakes exceeded our expectations! Patty’s Cakes was referred to us by a friend. The entire process, from cake tasting to wedding day was perfectly executed. They were professional and very accommodating since our wedding had to be moved twice due to the COVID restrictions. The quality of the cake was excellent. It was just as delicious the day of the wedding as it was on the tasting day. We opted for a banana cream flavor in cake form (banana cake, Bavarian cream and cream cheese fillings) and it was a big hit with our guests. We look forward to being able to have his again on our anniversary!

Called into the shop a few days prior to order two 8 inch semi-naked double layer cakes ($55 each). The girl who helped with the phone order was friendly and made it a breeze to place the order. Orders over $50 require a deposit of at least half the amount or you can also pay the full amount over the phone.
The cakes were ready at the designated time the day of. Beautiful tall cakes that we decorated with fresh florals and a cake topper on our own.
Besides the cakes looking great, they also tasted amazing! The cake itself was light + airy and the cream wasn’t too sweet. Loved the vanilla bavarian cream paired with the white/vanilla cake. Our guests all enjoyed the cake as well. Will definitely be a returning customer!

Patty was very hospitable when our parents went in for our wedding cake tasting. She was very accommodating to have both my husband and I on video call during the tasting to reassure us about the cake and our dietary specifications. My husband and I wanted a vegan cake, and this was by far THE BEST vegan cake we have ever had! The frosting was just the right amount of sweetness and they had many choices in terms of flavors, fillings and frostings even in the vegan section. Although there were an issue during delivery, Patty and her team handled it efficiently! We cannot imagine having another baker for our wedding cake! We heard nothing but compliments about the cake from our guests.
Every cupcake that I have gotten from here has been amazing!

The gluten free cupcakes were so amazing! Loved the white razzle and also had the chocolate chip mousse. You have to tell them you want the GF version. (Comes with a flag that says GF) Everything is fresh! Overall great experience. Can’t wait to go back!

First time trying Patty’s Cakes and Desserts today and I’m in love. What made me choose them is the fact that they offer quite a variety of gluten free options. I tried the chocolate with Nutella mousse and mango bliss, and they were both amazing. The mousse/filling goes all the way through the cake, which is such a nice touch. And the mousse/frosting is fluffy and light. Let me also point out that they very carefully package the gluten free cupcakes separately from the regular ones, and put little “GF” flags in them, so you know exactly what is which. Definitely going back to try other flavors soon! The only thing I wish was different is that there would be the same price for regular and gluten free cupcakes.

We got the lemon razzle and my partner got the eclair cupcake. I’m not much of a chocolate person, but the eclair had great flavor. The custard filling was great I just wish the chocolate consistency was a little different from the custard. My lemon razzle was great in concept! Kinda bummed by the lemon cake but I also really love lemon flavor. The raspberry and custard is a great flavor combination! And I thought the whipped frosting was super refreshing when pairing everything together. Glad we decided to get these delivered :) We were celebrating!

Pretty good cupcakes. I’ve been here for my cupcake fix about 1/2 a dozen times and the quality is pretty much as consistent as you get. They are good the day of, but less good the day after. (In the case that’s a big deal to you) Parking is a hit or miss. I’ve actually had to skip coming here at least twice now because I wasn’t able to find any. Overall I really enjoy their cupcakes for a simple fix.

My wedding was a few months ago in November of 2021, and the venue had Patty’s Cakes and Desserts as one of the options and I’m so glad we went with Patty’s. My husband and I got to sample some of the flavors beforehand and they were all delicious. We ended up choosing the Butter Pecan with the Cream Cheese Mousse, and it came out perfectly – not too sweet yet flavorful. Everyone at the reception absolutely LOVED our wedding cake, even our guests who normally do not enjoy cake. The cake was delivered at the venue on time, and it was an overall great experience. Looking forward to coming back to Patty’s – especially for the anniversary cake!

A friend had some cupcakes delivered to me for my bday and they were delish! Cupcakes are nice and fluffy vs dense – which is my kind of cake. Cupcakes tried: Lemon + guava: love this flavor. Not too heavy and the two flavors pair perfectly together. Chocolate with vanilla mousse: I usually prefer white cake with vanilla (I know boring), but was amazed by how delish this cupcake was! It was like a hostess cupcake on crack and my favorite of the 3 tried! White with chocolate fudge: I wanted to like this cupcake, but the fudge frosting was just too rich for me.
I love the peanut butter and the red velvet cupcake.
