Where to begin?! Patty’s cake is by far the BEST!! I cannot even begin to describe my experience with them.

Patty’s cakes made the cake for my wedding back in January. I had a beautiful 3 tiered cake with glitter, bling and 3 delicious flavors. ( If I could have picked more, believe me, I would have) Patty was so sweet, kind and accommodating. I went in a couple of weeks before my wedding to bump up the size due to an increase in guest count. Patty was nice about it and reassured me that we didn’t have to go up another tier and she was right! The 3 tiers were more than enough for all the guests at my wedding.

Now, I’m usually NOT a cake person, but if I could have that cake everyday, I WOULD! It was so perfect!!!! It was light and fluffy, and didn’t have any of that fondant junk. I ate every bit of it. YUM.

I definitely would recommend Patty’s cakes to anyone who is looking for a any type of delicious desserts. They are nice, helpful, and very professional. Not to mention again, DELICIOUS! :)

I have ordered from Patty s many times and always get a variety of mini cupcakes……they are very delicious and I love the variety of flavors offered. They are always the hit of any party we have. Not only do they look gorgeous, but also taste great too!! While they are a bit expensive……they are worth the extra money as they truly are beautiful and tasty!!

Four tier wedding cake for my wedding!

They were able to make a two tiered cake for my wedding of only 40 guests which other bakeries seemed unwilling to accommodate.
When I visited the store to order my cake, they had photo albums available for me to get ideas from and they were more than willing to make exactly what I wanted within a budget.
I also ordered Gluten-free cupcakes for my husband’s grandmother. They were delivered with the cake and she really enjoyed being able to enjoy the dessert with everyone else.
Of all the things I had to worry about on my wedding day, the cake was of no concern. It was beautiful, delicious, and exactly as I ordered it. (I ordered marbled cake with Bavarian cream filling–highly recommend)

This place is amazing! Not only are the cupcakes DELICIOUS, but the have 52 flavors! 32 regular cupcakes
and 20 gluten free! For someone like me who is gluten free this is awesome. I like sprinkles cupcakes but
they only have 1 gluten free flavor and that gets boring after a while. Not only that this place is WAY
better than sprinkles and the customer service is outstanding. Check this place out!

My neighbor’s wedding cake by Patty’s Cakes and Desserts was delicious. The presentation was lovely with
flowers placed decoratively on the cake. I was impressed. Everyone at the table raved about the cake. We
loved it. I will keep Patty’s Cakes and Desserts in mind for future events. Definitely plan to go back
for one of their delicious cupcakes. I give Patty’s a “thumbs up and five stars :)

The cupcake was good, the cake was moist and fresh! but i wasn’t a fan of the type of frosting they used,
it kinda reminded me of a cool whip consistency. the inside of the building is kinda small and not very
open, i would consider perhaps a renovation? But overall my experience here was good as is the customer
service i will be back soon

Absolutely amazing!! I have never had such delicious cupcakes. Their mousse is the smoothest I ve ever had. The melt in your mouth sweetness that satisfy s a sweet tooth – without the overly sweet aftertaste. Soft, moist and airy cakes that is full of flavor; sweet but not too sweet. Both of them combined creates a perfectly balanced cupcake. My personal favorite is the Dos PB&J (without the jam) Their peanut butter mousse is out of this world amazing!! After finding out we drove all the way out to Fullerton, Patty personally came out to greet us! She was simply wonderful. They have wonderful service, always putting on a smile. I have never been so happy to eat a cupcake until today!! The trip was absolutely worth it!! A MUST have for any occasion!! Will definitely be coming back for more!

I love pattys cakes ! They have the best cupcakes and cakeballs I have ever had! The staff is supper nice and Patty it wonderful. They don’t use that heavy sweet buttercream, everything tastes fresh and delicious. If you are looking for a birthday or wedding cake this is the place to go. 5 stars all around for Patty! Wildflour should take some notes because pattys cakes is showing how a real bakery runs!

I came here recently to try out their famous cake balls. I also ordered a gluten free cake ball as well. My husband truly enjoyed the gluten free cake ball. My kids and I enjoyed the regular cake balls!! Very very moist and super delish. Can’t wait to come back and try some cupcakes!

We had Patty Cakes do our wedding cake and it was so yummy. Patty truly went above and beyond. Although this is not the closest bakery to us we were more than willing to go with the best. We are approximately 40 miles from here so when they delivered the cake they charged us approx. 40.00 for travel fee since it was outside of the delivery area. Our cake was so yummy and fed approximately 50 people. All in all we paid about $226.00 for our cake. It was simple and so perfect :) Thanks for everything.

What a great find! This place is relatively new. It used to be a cookie place that went out of business. They have jumped on the cupcake trend but they do it better. They also make cakes and round balls of frosted cake. Wow! Really good. As a huge bonus, they have a wonderful selection including several gluten free items. They are wonderful – not dry and crumbly. I will become a regular here!

Really love the cake balls! Cupcakes are really good too. Had the bacon peanut butter one and it was nice and moist. All the cupcakes are moist and frosted to order! The frosting isnt too buttery and usually I dont like frosting on cupcakes, especially piled high like in cupcake shops but the way they do the frosting makes it just so damn good! Better than Wildflour on Chapman thats for sure.

This place is awesome. Their check-in offer is amazing. The cupcakes are so delectable. The cake pops are so rich and HUGE. It’s a cute little shop with lots of character. Be careful about coming later in the day, though. They only make a certain amount of flavors and types each day, so once they’re out, they’re out for the day! Don’t get your heart set. I’ve tried so many different flavors here and haven’t been disappointed by any. I love that they frost the cupcakes to order so it’s the freshest possible cupcake you could have. My favorite cake ball is the German Chocolate. You really can’t go wrong by coming here. If I had a special occasion coming up, I’d definitely get some cupcakes or cake balls from them.

I am 3 months late writing this review on yelp. But I’ve left plenty on other sites. I found pattys cakes on yelp. What made me visit them was all the raving reviews. But what made me book them was the delicious cup cakes and Philips great customer service! I was going to go with sprinkles cupcakes but what sold me for pattys cupcakes was how light, moist n flavorful they were, specially that whipped frosting! YUM!

Phillip was a great help with helping us choose the flavors. We went with three kinds; chocolate with chocolate chip frosting, vanilla with raspberry jelly, and my favorite, lemon with raspberry!!

They were a huge hit, the cupcakes were perfect for my summer wedding! Now I live in Virginia and I can’t wait to go visit Cali to get me some cupcakes!!!

I received cupcakes from my friend. It was a chocolate with cream in the middle. It was absolutely the best cupcake I ve ever tasted. It was moist and so delicious! I loved it! I will definitely be going back to purchase some on my own.

This review has taken me a while to write, but better late than never!
I used Patty’s as my wedding cake baker, and I have nothing but rave reviews for these people. I tasted cakes at a few other locations, and nothing compared to the product I had here. From the moment I walked in, Patty was extremely sweet and helpful. She is very genuine and honest, and tells it like it is. She was straight with us on price (very reasonable) and honest about the design process. My husband and I loved her from the moment we met her, and we decided after 5 minutes that we were going to use her shop.
She was flexible with us on all areas of design, flavor, and price. We ordered a 4 tired wedding cake, made with banana and chocolate cake with banana creme filling. This is literally the best cake I have ever tasted, and it was BEAUTIFUL. There was not one issue with our cake appearance, delivery, nothing! It was all around a sweet and fabulous experience. We are so thankful to Patty that she put her all into her cake. And her son Phillip was very helpful as well! Thank you to Patty’s Cakes for making our wedding day extra special. I have included a picture of our cake so you can all see the work, detail and time that went into our cake.

Oh, the best part is that they don’t use fondant, which tastes like crapola. They use real buttercream or whipped frosting, and it is so light and fluffy. The amazing part is that they still make your cake look as good as a cake made with fondant. The cake is delivered on the wedding day about an hour before the wedding starts so it is fresh and pretty by the time the guests get in. LOVE LOVE LOVE PATTY!

Patty’s Cakes were awesome! My family and I all agreed they have unique flavors that are to die for. The cakes were super moist and the frosting was super fluffy and creamy. I love how the cupcakes weren’t overwhelmingly sweet. Just perfect. I can’t wait to try more flavors.
A huge plus was their prices weren’t insane like most place.
We tried the banana split, the Elvis and the seasonal pumpkin cupcakes.
I would recommend all three.

Cake tasting for my cousins 18th birthday

Came in tonight for a cake tasting for my cousin’s 18th birthday. Right away I noticed how clean and nicely decorated her shop was! (For the holidays too!)

Patty came and helped my two cousins and I. She was already off the bat so nice, bubbly and sweet. Her service was amazing and gave us her full attention and attended to my cousins requests positively. She was very prompt and handled business in a fun way. Designed quickly and results were amazing.

The cakes were very delicious and not too sweet! All the frostings were fluffy with a nice texture and weren’t too sweet either. I loved the cream cheese and chocolate chip frosting. Red velvet and chocolate cake were great!

Overall it was an A+

My first time coming here and what an experience. Patty came out and was so welcoming! It smelled DELICIOUS. I ordered two chocolate chip cake balls and a German chocolate cake all. I almost passed out from scrumptiousness. Everyone who walked in was so happy to be there and I had no idea The Knot magazine recognized this location. As Miss Fullerton, I must say I am proud to have Patty’s Cakes right in the neighborhood. I will be back.

Last minute wedding planning!!!

We approached Patty’s Cakes somewhat last-minute in our wedding planning after switching bakers in our wedding planning. Patty’s was able to accommodate us and we were thankful. The co-owner, Philip, is very helpful and straightforward. We selected a red velvet cake for a reasonable price. Philip told us that they like to deliver the cake in stealth, like Samurai ninjas. In our experience, that is what happened. The cake was there when we got to the reception venue. Everyone loved our cake, and we even wanted to save the top portion for our one-year anniversary. We hear lots of couples don’t actually do that because their cake taste like rubbish. At Patty’s Cakes, you’ll want to save yours, too, if you have any leftovers that is.

So impressed with Patty’s cakes!!!

This is the best vendor, I have ever came across! We went there to do cake tasting but we did not decide right away and they were really cool about it. We ended up choosing Patty’s because of the quality of their cake and friendly staff unlike Frost My Cake in Brea. They were rude when we mentioned that we wanted to shop around a bit.

I didn’t think Patty’s Cake’s cupcakes were anything special, but I’m going to
throw that up to I care very little for cake in general. However, Patty’s Cakes
deserves 5 stars because they were great to work with for my wedding.

We had the White Cake and Red Velvet Cake (made purple for our theme) cupcakes
for our wedding and my guests went to town. I heard gag worthy story after
story of gluttony elevated to a level beyond acceptable, especially in dressy
attire.

Their pricing was reasonable, and I think we had a pretty conservative budget.
They’re great to work with and it’s not a mystery why they’re rated the best on
Wedding Wire

Patty’s Cakes totally saved our wedding day from disaster! Originally my wife and I had chosen a Hawaiian bakery to do our wedding cake, but they kept giving me the run around about price and design. After I thought we had it all worked out, they totally dropped the ball and lost our order with less than a month from our scheduled date…we had no cake! We live 2.5 hours north of of our Santa Ana venue so coming down during the week when Patty’s is open is no easy task, but Phillip was a doll and squeezed us in for a cake tasting in the evening right before they closed. Usually by the time you taste all the flavors and icings you feel a little ill, but at Patty’s Cakes we cleaned the plate and took some cake balls (amazing) for the ride home! The flavors we ended up ordering (even though they were all delicious) were chocolate cake with peanut butter cream, red velvet cake, & pumpkin cake both with cream cheese filling. All of our guests raved about how good the cake was and many asked for seconds! We checked out several bakeries in the area and Patty’s had the best price bar none. We actually went back 2 more times when we were in the area doing other errands leading up to the wedding just to gorge on their cake balls and cupcakes. Picking a bakery can be stressful if your a foodie, after all let’s be honest most wedding cakes taste like cardboard, Patty’s Cakes are moist, flavorful, and their icing is sweet but too much like most icings are. My lady love and I agreed that you have to prioritize when planning your wedding. We love food and more importantly we love dessert! We wanted our cake to look and taste fantastic! Patty’s Cakes delivered on time and the cake did not disappoint!

My girlfriend got us some of Patty’s delicious cupcakes for my birthday. As just stated, they were delicious. The selection at Patty’s Cakes is huge. She has cupcakes of all flavors and types. I had the Chocolate Coconut, the Red Velvet, and her seasonal Pumpkin Cupcake. The Pumpkin one was my favorite. The cake was moist and the buttercream frosting was creamy and wasn’t overly sweet. I will definitely be back and continue to try Patty’s seasonal cakes.
