WHAT A FIND…I cannot believe this awesome as well as fabulous bakery IS IN FULLERTON. Never have I tasted such moist cupcakes and delicate light frosting in my life! I thought Sprinkles Cupcakes were the best, but after eating my first cupcake from Patty’s I will never go elsewhere! What sets this baker above the rest is that cupcakes ordered are frosted fresh when you order them. They are placed in boxes that hold each individual cake studry and seperate from each others. The flavors are bold and distinct. It is apparent that Patty is the real deal and knows how to bake up cakes and cupcakes that melt in your mouth….I will order from her again and again…..

Patty’s Cakes is amazing!! When I wanted something special for my mom’s birthday Patty totally came through. She doesn’t normally do creme puffs but she made them special for me and they were DELICIOUS!! The creme puffs exceeded my expectations and we will definitley be return customers!!

I’m give Patty’s Cakes a star for the number of times I went there in one week. Yes I was at Patty’s Cakes 5 times in one week. That alone can speak volumes.
I first went because of the cake balls. I have never ever had a ball of cake before, so I had to check it out. It is basically a moist hunk of cake surrounded with either milk of white chocolate. Jess C. and I ventured about a mile from school to try 4 different flavors. We chose: Red Velvet, Lemon, Smores, and Banana. My favorite was the Lemon with the Banana coming in second. Jess’s favorite was the Smores and the Banana. The Lemon cake ball was super moist, like Mrs. Beasley’s lemon cake in Beverly Hills. The Smores had tons of goodies on it. It had marshmallows and graham crackers sticking out of it. Jess likes goodies. The red velvet is pretty but there isn’t enough chocolate flavor to it. I think that they are kind of small for the price of $3 but it is definitely worth a try if you come out here. They are great as gifts because they are fun and unique!
Now the next four visits I came for the cupcakes. One of them I was foiled because they ran out (Saturday before closing, which makes sense) and had to buy more cake balls. The cupcakes are also $3 but I think they are more worth your money than the balls. There are more flavors and they are all iced and decorated so well. I have tried a good number of the flavors and my favorite is the Banana! The creamy pudding-like topping is the best. The cake is amazingly moist as well. Most of the cupcakes have a mouse frosting, which is light and airy. I tend to like heavy dense frostings. haha. The Banana and the Chocolate Fudge don’t have the light frosting. The Lemon also has a gelly like frosting instead of the mouse. The cake itself is light too. So if you like dense cake this might not exactly be your favorite but it is definitely moist and not dry at all. The Butter Pecan is a hit with the crowds as well as their chocolate cupcakes. I’d recommend getting half a dozen so you sample more flavors :D
Sprinkles is still my #1 fave but Patty’s does a great job of satisfying my cupcake cravings! I am a fan! I am also a fan of their customer service. Patty herself is the sweetest lady and the guys that work there are hilarious and funny. Super great staff!

I am not a real cupcake fan, but a friend told me I had to go. The cupcake was delicious. It was the chocolate mousse one. Simply delicious. The cupcake was moist and there was just the right amount of frosting. Yum! I had planned to eat only half of it and save the rest for later, but I ate the whole thing in one sitting. The shop is cute and the staff is prompt and friendly. I definitely reccommend it.

What would I go through to get those s’mores cake balls!!!???…I drove from West Hollywood to Fullerton on a rainy day just to have them… Yes, that is how awesome and delicious those cake balls are.
The bakery is small but it is absolutely cute, great decor and the people who owns this place are so nice.
If you haven’t tried their cakes and cake balls… You have to go and have some.

Cupcakesssss!!!!!! We came across Patty’s Cakes and Desserts about a month ago. We were in a hunt for cupcakes around the area and with Sprinkles being 30 miles away + gas + rain + traffic = hell no we’re not going!
We pull up to this small place and I’m a little iffy going in. It’s small and noone’s inside. Nevertheless, we walk in and this guy greets us with a big smile and was very welcoming…really good customer service. He introduced us to their list of cupcakes and right away, my boyfriend notices one that says bacon (Elvis cupcake). Peanut butter, banana cream and BACON?? In my head, I’m thinking, this guy is weird! Boy, was I wrong! It somehow works perfect together. Their icing is so creamy and doesn’t give you a sugar rush after eating ONE cupcake. We’ve tried almost all of their cupcakes and so far, we have yet to find one flaw. We definitely recommend Patty’s Cakes and Desserts to all of our family and friends. :D

GET YOUR WEDDING CAKE HERE!!!!! We called a day before our wedding and needing a wedding cake last minute Patty’s cakes came to our rescue. We called and they were so helpful and friendly. Even though I dont live in the area or couldn’t go over there, everything was done by phone. The next day our wedding cake was more than I could ever dream of! My new husband and I, as well as our guests loved the cake. Not only was it beautiful and elegant but it tasted awesome!!!! Yes, we love Patty’s cakes. Ordered a birthday cake, white cake – lemon filling – white frosting. everything about it was delicious. One word-CAKEBALLS!!! We had a coupon for buy 2 get 1 free. We had the S’mores cakeball, red velvet cupcake, and chocolate cupcake with chocolate chip cream frosting. The cupcakes were light, moist, and not too sweet and were really great. But the S’mores cakeball is to die for! Sinfully dark chocolate filled with marshmellows and graham crackers dipped in chocolate again. I cannot wait to go in and get this again and try the other flavors!!!

I discovered Patty’s Cakes and Desserts last week since I’ve been looking at different bakeries for a cake for my wedding this summer. Needless to say, this bakery takes the cake!
The customer service here is amazing. Patty is so sweet and helpful. Even though they were busy getting ready to deliver a wedding cake when my fiance and I first visited the bakery, they still managed to give us great information and give us their full information and time. Patty even made a sketch and quote for my wedding cake right on the spot! While my official cake tasting appointment isn’t for another week, she did send us home with three free cupcakes: white, lemon, and red velvet all with the vanilla mousse icing. I
I am absolutely in love with her cupcakes! They are so flavorful, moist, light, and had just the right amount of sweetness. I was especially impressed with the white cake. Normally I think white cakes are kind of plain, but this one had so much flavor!!! It was incredible! The icing was amazing. It’s creamy and fresh, and I love that they put it on the cupcake when you order it (so much better than seeing a cupcake sitting in a fridge for who knows how long!). Everything tastes fresh, homemade, and unique. I really can’t wait to try more cupcake flavors!
I’m really looking forward to working with Patty for my wedding cake….the hard part will be deciding on some flavors. :)

One of my patients brought my staff cupcakes from Patty’s Cakes and they were spectacular! Since then I have been back several times buying cupcakes for my staff, my family and my friends. I finally paid a second visit today with my little sister. We were so excited to try the cupcakes again! I came right at 4 while they were closing, but the nice man in the front let us come in anyways. After deciding what to order, and having some friendly chit chat with the man at the counter, he came out with 4 cupcakes.
1. Red velvet with cream cheese frosting: Delicious, as usual. The cake is so soft and the frosting is so dense. I love it!
2. Red velvet with chocolate chip frosting: Again, delicious. The frosting is much lighter and packed with chocolate chips, making it a delicious and less dense treat!
3. Chocolate with chocolate chip frosting: Tasted like a sophisticated Hostess cupcake. I love that each cupcake has a center of cream running through it. So tasty.
4. Chocolate with chocolate fudge topped with caramel and sea salt: MY NUMBER ONE FAVORITE. My goodness, this stuff is amazing. You seriously have to try this cake. The cake is soft and fluffy, and the contrast with the super dense creamy fudge with melting caramel and sprinkles of sea salt on top makes it a perfect combination of soft/dense, creamy/rich, sweet/salty, jafkds;jaf;s. Overall, just perfect. You have to get this cupcake.
We also got the chocolate chip cake balls which are waiting for us in the fridge. I am too full from the cupcakes.
The service was amazing (Thank you Philip!), and the products speak for themselves. Pay a visit, I swear you won’t regret it (but your waistline might).

Seriously, the 5 stars is for Patty herself!! And the other guy behind the counter whose name I didn’t get. They are awesome people and I think that is why their cupcakes are so awesome!
I used a groupon I bought that was going to expire next week and we decided to get an assortment of cupcakes to share. We tried:
Lemon with Lemon Curd (suuuuper lemony and super delicious! I want an entire cake made of this lol)
The Elvis (pretty good! i love that the banana cake isn’t like banana nut bread, but banana flavored bread – it is so fresh tasting! the peanut butter frosting and bacon were an awesome combo)
Chocolate with Chocolate Frosting (the bit of cream in the middle of this cupcake reminded me of a hostess cupcake, but on a bigger and better scale! it was super sweet and chocolatey – a little too much so for me, but it was still good).
Red Velvet (not our fave – hubby and i were splitting the cupcakes every time we tried them and we saved this one for last, but were kinda disappointed. the cake wasn’t as cocoa-y tasting as i liked and the frosting was not as flavorful as i had hoped)
Banana with Cream (my personal fave! the frosting is like pudding and it was so nom nom nom!).
We have others to try but we are seriously cupcaked out for now. Seriously, though, if you’re in the area or even close by, stop in! They frost their cupcakes fresh to order and they are so pretty. We waited in our car and they were delivered to us by Patty herself who was so excited for us to see them that she asked me to open the box and look at them and my hubby proudly proclaimed “Now THAT’S a cupcake!”

I Just started a new job on raymond blvd…lonestar termite to be exact and one day I drove by this adorable delicious looking store…the name Patty’s Cakes caught my eye because I used to call my beautiful sister Patticakes..,1969-2008, she’s in peace now ;(, so the name really stood out to me & I decided to stop and try the cupcakes and let me tell you, I was not expecting to much since I’ve tried so many and its really hard to make an amazing cupcake but the red velvet and chocolate was AMAZING!!!! Marble Oreo Cookie Cake! This is the cake that we recently had from Patty’s Cakes for our monthly cake day at our place of business. The cake was absolutely delicious, not heavy, not too light, but simply perfect. The bottom chocolate cake was soft and moist and almost had the fudge texture but it wasn’t too heavy. The whipped cream and oreo cookie filling in the middle was heaven! The cream was fluffy, not too sweet and the cookies added great texture. Overall, our experiences with Patty’s Cake has been wonderful, our pallettes for sweetness have definitely risen to the great occassion of cake day!

Patty knows a thing or two, about a thing or two, let me tell you.
I had just 30 minutes before I had to be back in class when I decided to check this place out for the first time. You would think 30 would be plenty from FC, but between foodgasm A and foodgasm B, my decision felt like I was dismantling a bomb.
I ended up going for the chocolate cupcake with peanut butter frosting and I also walked out with a red velvet cake ball.
Im not quite sure if there are secret ingredients, but if there are, it HAS to be love…seriously. The red velvet cake ball was just incredible. My biggest qualm with red velvet is its often times dried out, this was certainly not the case, moist as ever, and the cream cheese icing was….well…the icing on top….or all around….whatever.
The chocolate cupcake with peanut butter icing= glory^max.
I wish I hadn’t inhaled them as quickly as I did, because I didnt want the experience to end.
I definitely see my self frequenting this place much more. Pattys Cakes are a great way to reward yourself or others, just stop in and check it out!

Used a ‘groupon coupon’ for Patty’s to purchase 12 assorted cake balls for my grandson’s 10th birthday – lemon, german chocolate, s’mores and red velvet. I personally got to taste a bite of all but the lemon. And they rocked. Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised at the truffle-like content of the cakeballs. Very original creation! I do have to admit when my husband got home with the box of 12 cakeballs, I was a little disappointed at the size of them, but since they are so dense and rich, I see why they are sized as such. Any way, now I cannot wait to get back to Patty’s to try some of the other treats on the menu.
Hope loved the cupcakes and thought the “glitter” was the coolest thing ever!
