“This review is for people who don’t like their desserts to be too sweet. This place comes in second to my favorite cupcake place. I love Patty’s cream cheese frosting. The whole creation is a perfect balance of sweetness and the cake is more moist than dry. I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars for two reasons. The texture of the cake does not look refined and it kind of shrivels inward by the next day. I would go back when I visit friends in the area though.”
“This was the “cupcake tree” Patty made and delivered to our wedding dinner. They were an absolute “hit”!!! Not only were they delicious, they were beautiful and Patty delivered them to the restaurant which really helped us! I would recommend her to anyone….actually I would LOVE to be eating one of her red velvet c…upcakes right now!! Thank you Patty you are talented and a very lovely person. “A friend of mine brought in a few cupcakes into my office today, what a fantastic treat to wrap up work week! The Chocolate with Chocolate Fudge cupcake, delicious. I felt a little daring so I tired The Elvis (Banana Cake, Peanut Butter, and Bacon), wow! . A sensation of sweet with a hint of salt, yum. A great combination of flavors and texture not found in most deserts. What a great find, I hope to visit the location soon to see what other treats are available”

“A co-worker brought an array of cupcakes from Patty’s Cakes and Desserts and they were simply divine. I tried the red velvet and chocolate cupcakes. I equally enjoyed both. The cake part was absolutely moist and the icing; just the right amount of sweetness. I’ve been to many cupcake places in Orange County and frankly, most are disappointing. Not here. I cannot wait to try the cake-balls and other goodies she has to offer.”

“My husband and I stumbled across Patty’s Cakes and we are so glad we did! I had looked on the website before we got there so we knew what flavor combinations we wanted to try. They didn’t have all the flavors I wanted to try out in the display case and all I had to do was ask and they made them fresh for me. We tried the red velvet, chocolate with peanut butter frosting, lemon and vanilla with cookies and cream. They were all so amazing!!! Not to mention the man behind the counter was very nice! I highly recommend this place!”

“I have been coming back since my first review. I can’t stop. I have since fallen in love with Red Velvet and will not try anything else. They are very good. The size of the cupcakes are now bigger since they first opened. The Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Frosting just melts in your mouth. It does not taste like chocolate, it tastes like red velvet. And the frosting is delicious, not to heavy or sweet. What I love the most about this venue is how friendly all the staff are. Our conversations always take up where we left off. I took my friend a red velvet cupcake and he was speechless. He told me I shouldn’t have introduced him to Patty’s cakes because now he’s addicted too!!”
