[Review] Our wedding cake cupcakes were perfect!

We had Patty’s Cakes cater our wedding cake cupcakes and it was perfect. We did the lemon cake with raspberry filling. It was absolutely delicious. They were great at delivery and they were just always so nice. I think I called Philip about 40 times no exaggeration and not once did he answer the phone with frustration or annoyance in his voice. We set this all up before the pre-pandemic when they were still doing cake tastings and i’m not lying at all when I say the cake tasting experience was the funnest part of the wedding planning. Patty was awesome! We felt like brides for the first time in her office. Unfortunately, our photographers didn’t get the most amazing shots but here are the best ones. Thank you Patty’s Cakes for being one of the only things to go perfect in the wedding.

The cake tasting was a lot of fun and the cakes are very light, moist and not overly sweet. Philip worked with my budget and aesthetic. He did not try to oversell me and I really appreciated that. The place is very clean.

Omg! Philip is who helped us pick out the perfect cake for our special day. The cake was AMAZING! That’s all our guests talked about. We barely had any left for ourselves. Lol it was so great. I will always come back to Patty’s Cakes.

First time trying the cupcakes here and it was bomb! My fave are the salted caramel and the strawberry cupcakes! I’ve tried the strawberry banana and the strawberry Oreo and it wasn’t bad but the other 2 are my fave. I want to try more flavors for sure. The cupcake itself is soft, especially next day, and it’s a nice soft buttercream topping omg so so good! Highly recommend to try for sure and will be going back.

Patty’s Cakes exceeded our expectations! Patty’s Cakes was referred to us by a friend. The entire process, from cake tasting to wedding day was perfectly executed. They were professional and very accommodating since our wedding had to be moved twice due to the COVID restrictions. The quality of the cake was excellent. It was just as delicious the day of the wedding as it was on the tasting day. We opted for a banana cream flavor in cake form (banana cake, Bavarian cream and cream cheese fillings) and it was a big hit with our guests. We look forward to being able to have his again on our anniversary!

Absolutely beautiful! Exactly what we wanted! Going to the cake testing itself was such a great experience that I wasn’t surprised by how beautiful (and delicious) the wedding cake turned out! Any one who is looking for a cake, for any occasion really, I would start here!
