[Review] Very Helpful Wedding Cake Tasting! – Fullerton, CA

My sis in law recommended Patty’s cakes for our wedding. So i scheduled a free tasting session with them. Met with Philip and he was very helpful from the start. Our main concerns were taste, design and of course the price! And Philip was able to address all those issues! We chose a 3-tiered cake with an extra sheet on the side to save more money. And i love how their cakes are not sweet especially with the icing that they used. We picked the choc cake with choc chip mousse filling and we loved it! Thank you again Patty’s!!

Probably the best part of our “wedding experience” was meeting Patty and tasting her amazing cakes. She was so bubbly and welcoming and helped us pick the perfect type of cake. All of our guests said it was incredible and I will definitely come back to her for more cakes.

My fiancee’s mother offered to purchase our wedding cake from Patty’s cakes in Fullerton. She raved about this place before our consultation. The day of our appointment we were greeted by Patty and her staff. They were very friendly and professional. The different cakes and fillings are absolutely delicious. We had a tough time deciding on the different fillings. We ended up choosing the lemon cake with raspberry filling. The day of our wedding the cake was delivered right on time as promised. Our cake was absolutely beautiful. We received so many compliments and everyone asked where we got our cake. We even had people asking to take some home. I highly recommend Patty’s Cakes! You won’t be disappointed!

I went to two other bakeries before going to Pattys, I almost settled for one in Santa Ana, but after hearing good things from Pattys i decided to check it out before i made a choice. Upon entering the bakery, i fell in love with the pink walls and the friendly customer service I received from Patty. After the cake tasting, i was sold! I loved all the flavors tried, my favorite was the red velvet and chocolate. They were so tasty and mouth watering. I got the red velvet with a strawberry mousse and the chocolate cake with a light chocolate mousse. I have to say i made the best choice with Pattys because i loved the taste and i love that the designed my cake exactly how i wanted it. A lot of my guests loved the cake and asked me for the name of the bakery. Pattys cakes is now my bakery and I will be shopping for all my cakes there! Thank-you so much Patty! Awesome cake and a great assortment of cupcakes! Friendly and helpful staff. Bakery offers a free cupcake if you buy 3, a bonus! It is located in a shopping center but around the corner away from the majority of other businesses there, so you have to look for it.

I had Patty’s cakes do my wedding cake this past September. We really couldn’t be happier with the way everything turned out. Everyone was super nice and professional! They made everything so easy on us! Plus, our cake was absolutely delicious! They were very upfront about cost (which was extremely reasonable), to when they were going to deliver and set up. If we ever need a cake for an event, this is where we will go! Thank you Patty’s cakes!!

We ordered our wedding cake from Patty’s! One of the best decisions for our wedding. Cake was excellent, fillings and creams were not overly sweet! Cake was moist and many compliments throughout even after our wedding was over. Price wasn’t too bad either. Weddings are expensive to plan and the wedding cake could be something you can budget on: # of tiers, size of the cakes, design, etc. Patty and Philip were so accommodating, we were really happy with our choices. We chose a simpler design and went with 3 tier cake and 3/4 of a sheet cake for extra servings! Lemon raspberry with Bavarian cream was my favorite. My husband loved the banana cake with chocolate mousse. They were close by to our reception venue so delivery was smooth and easy. Highly recommended!

Gluten free delicious is right! I am just elated and pleased with my recent experience with Patty’s Cakes and Desserts. I am and will be a forever loyal customer. I bought cupcakes for my husband’s 50th birthday dinner and they were a hit. My first choice was a gluten free cake, not the cupcakes but they were not accepting orders for cakes as they were fully booked. Wow, they are very busy…that’s good. We chose all mousse frosting for all the cupcakes which was good because the regular frosting was just too sweet (sampled one). Their gluten free cupcakes taste like regular cupcakes…I was kind of thinking they made a mistake because it’s too good to be truly gluten free. The service of the staff was professional and good. I didn’t feel like they were overly cheerful and friendly but hey, as long as they’re nice, professional and treat me with respect ….I’ll come back….especially for those gf cupcakes!!
