Great, moist cupcakes that are NOT TOO SWEET! Yes, I know cupcakes are supposed to be sweet, but sugar restraint is what makes Patty’s outstanding. Why?
After attending countless weddings, planning my own engagement party and then wedding, plus a couple of kids with lots of birthdays, I’ve eaten endless varieties of cakes. Almost all bakeries create sugar overkill that ruins the taste and covers up lower quality ingredients. Plus, such friendly service! The lady who prepared our box added a “Happy Birthday” sign on one of the cupcakes when I’d mentioned that we were buying these cupcakes for my little girl’s BD. I didn’t even ask…what a nice touch! We chose 5 different flavors and my daughter loved them!
- The Elvis: My hubby said “It’s ok.” Hah! I should have eaten it! How can you beat Bacon + PB?
- Banana: Chunky bits of banana. Thumbs up from BD girl.
- Pink Frosting & Chocolate Cake: BD girl favorite for baby pink color. To be fair, she loves all things pink but I tried the chocolate cake…its very moist and not too sweet, both equally important for the perfect cupcake!
- Coconut: Comes with an umbrella. Yummy and cute!
- Mint Chocolate Chip: My personal favorite so far.
The location is not next door for us, and there are a few quality bakeries between us and the 20 min it takes to drive to Patty’s, but we will be back!!!
