And if it’s wrong to say a cupcake changed your life, then I don’tever want to be right. It was rich and moist, amazing and addicting and all topped with chocolate chip mousse that I swear tasted like ice cream. Combine that with great service and Patty’s is my new favorite dessert place.

I don’t understand why Patty’s Cakes isn’t as known as Sprinkles Cupcakes…I mean her cupcakes are better than those main stream shops! Especially her cakeballs!!!!
But that’s not why I’m here. I came to Patty’s cake cause I needed a wedding cake!!! And I got the most amazing wedding cake EVER – I mean seriously – there were no leftovers at the wedding! NOTHING! I’m so glad the top tier was saved for us…I even had a few bites of it when I got home before freezing it for our anniversary. *blush*
Her cake tasted homemade and that is what we were looking for. And it was moist!!!! But the best part was that her service was amazing! I remember coming to their shop stressed and just feeling down and defeated from wedding planning activities but somehow I always left her bakery feeling positive and excited for the wedding!

Our experience with Patty’s Cakes couldn’t have been better! We had a vision of a wedding cake with a tree on it, and Patty made us a beautiful cake exactly as we were envisioning! The cake was delicious too! Patty and her co-worker Philip were two of the nicest people we worked with while planning our wedding.
So I need to comment on two things. First being their service: Outstanding! My husband and I knew we wanted cupcakes instead of a cake for our wedding. We had been to a few local places and hadn’t been wowed, but did have a place in mind we were going to go with. We were out in the Fullerton area several months before the wedding and saw Patty’s Cakes and decided to go in so we could cure our sweet tooth and get a cupcake. Phillip was so helpful and recommended a couple flavors for us to try. They were hands-down the best cupcakes I had ever had. My husband and I decided right in the store that we would book Patty’s Cakes for our wedding. The prices were the best we had been quoted and the cakes tasted even better. Phillip and I corresponded over email several times and he was always prompt and courteous. One of the nicest guys ever!
Secondly, the cakes were amazing! We ordered four different flavors of cupcakes and a small cake for my husband and I to cut into, and each and every one was beautiful and tasty! I got sooooo many compliments on my cupcakes, and one of my friends even booked with Patty’s Cakes for her wedding after tasting them.

The Best Shower cake! Can’t wait for the wedding!
Yes, we have tried Patty’s cupcake’s and cakes over the
last year for various events. We knew that she would make
the shower cake and it would taste wonderful. But the
shower cake was a question- what in the world do you put on
a cake that is unusual? Since the groom is a chef we
decided on a recipe cake. We wrote our own recipe and Patty
had the most awesome design! She took our idea and make it
adorable- a mini whisk, grater, rolling pin and heart
shaped measuring spoons all decorated our “original
recipe”. Everyone loved this beautiful cake! Was there any
left? Just enough to have a piece the next day. We chose
carrot cake with no nuts- OMG a piece of heaven! They are
so wonderful to work with- you will not regret this choice
of professionalism, creativity and deliciousness!

I was lucky enough to try patty’s cakes at a friend’s
graduation and it was love at first bite. When my now
husband and I were planning our wedding it was without a
doubt that I wanted Patty’s cake for my wedding and he
agreed. The entire process was effortless and enjoyable. A
few emails back and forth with Phil on meeting times and it
was set. We meet with Patty and she was a DOLL!! She sat
down with us we showed her pictures and tried delish
flavors of cake! How many bakeries let you sit down with
the mastermind behind the whole company to dream up your
favorite cake for your big day?? Patty’s Cakes does! She
had a great idea; the cake was layered lemon and chocolate
and in between was a Bavarian cream with raspberry!! My
mouth waters when I think of it! Let me tell you we had
enough cake for 140 guests, our final count was 122 and we
had no cake left over. My father-in-law and some others
didn’t even have a slice of cake. Every plate you looked at
was clean, not a sign of frosting or cake. After the
wedding we took the top tear and ate it in our hotel room
with my in-laws and my father. It was a perfect ending to a
perfect night!! Without Patty’s Cake there would have
definitely been something missing.

I tried this cake in my best friend wedding, and could not
stop eating it….me and my kids just stop by every time we
feel like eating a cupcake…and we always say the same
thing IT S SO GOOD!

can’t say enough about Patty’s Cakes!
I recently moved into the area and wanted a cake for our
2nd Baby Shower (April 28, 2012). I walked into this cute
shop and actually met Patty! Philip, her son and
co-owner, was also there. They were both soooo nice and
friendly, I was very
impressed with them. I had a great conversation with Patty
about the theme of the shower and colors etc….She was
soooo accomidating. We went with a carriage cake with an
Owl theme.
They delivered the cake to the local restuarant we were
having the baby shower
the day of and it came out just perfect!! Not to mention
it was sooooo delicious!!
( Marble Cake with custard and fresh strawberries inside).
The cake was moist and frosting was the perfect sweetness!!
My guests and I really loved it!!!
I can’t wait to book another cake with Patty!

Stopped by today to see if I could buy a dozen mini
cupcakes for my little sister as she loves cupcakes and
hasn’t gotten any in a while. The place is tucked away in
the corner right next to a dry cleaners so it is a little
hard to find.

Patty’s Cakes are awesome! She’s made me two wedding cakes
recently, one German chocolate for just the family
celebration, and one big gorgeous white one for the
wedding.
I called her up after finding her on Yelp because I needed
a last minute cake for my 10-person wedding party. She was
very professional and friendly on the phone until we were
wrapping up the order and I told her I was the bride. She
just got so excited and happy and promised to add some
special decorations just because. The cake looked gorgeous
and tasted excellent. It disappeared in about 10 minutes.
Because that cake was so good, I ordered my official
wedding cake from her as well. The cake was made to feed
120 people, and I still have cake left over 3 weeks later
(and it’s till moist! amazing!). Yes, my caterers cut it
into really small pieces after a huge buffet, no reflection
on the cake. Not only was the cake delicious (chocolate
and lemon layers separated by raspberry and Bavarian
cream), but it looked gorgeous too. I provided flowers
which she arranged to look awesome. I was busy taking
photos when the cake arrived, but all of a sudden the cake
was there looking perfect, just as she’d promised.
Patty was very responsive to our requests, and she knows
what to do when the bride and groom know they want a cake
and not much else. And the cake was delicious, both the
chocolate and the lemon layers were excellent. Yum!
