[Review] Best Butter Pecan Cupcake

Netana K. - Anaheim, CA - 5 Star rating via Yelp

Very clean and tidy little bakery, but above all the flavor, and texture of their cake is to die for. The butter pecan exceeded my expectations and is probably the best cupcake i’ve had! customers are very friendly the managers let me chat with my friend who works there even though it wasn’t her break yet!

[Review] Delicious Butter Pecan Cupcake

The cupcakes were quite good. Scored a free cupcake after buying 3 with Yelp. I really like their butter pecan cupcake. It tasted a lot like a mini apple pie.

[Review] Cupcake Store With SO Many Delicious Flavors!

Jennifer H. - Torrance, CA - 4 Star rating via Yelp

Found this delightful little spot after having dinner and I’m so glad we decided to try five of their cupcakes!

Cupcakes: We tried the:

Lemon Razzle (Lemon Cake, Vanilla Cream FIlling, Raspberry and Vanilla Mousse) – This was very sweet and the raspberry was like an aftertaste. So I was disappointed in it.

Chocolate Chipper (Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Chip Mousse and Chocolate Drizzled Potato Chips) – Too rich for me, but I really enjoyed the potato chips on top!

Chocolate Caramel Salty (Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Fudge, Caramel, and Sea Salt) – Too rich for me also, but Caramel isn’t my thing.

Butter Pecan (Butter Pecan Cake, Apple Filled with Cream Cheese Mousse) – MY FAVORITE! The apple filling went extremely well with the butter pecan cake-it almost tasted like an apple pie more than anything else. And the cream cheese on top was light and not too sweet. This was my absolute favorite out of the five we tried.

Dos PB & J (Peanut Butter Cake, Rasberry Jelly Filled, with Peanut Butter Mousse) – Was a little disappointed because I really wanted that POW of Peanut Butter and Jelly!

Overall though, four stars because the staff were excellent and most importantly, patient with us as we picked out what we wanted to try. The person behind the counter also told me he could swap out fillings if I wanted to but I didn’t because at that point I was overwhelmed with options.

Ambiance: Because we went close to Valentines Day the shop was decked out in reds, pinks, and whites. There were V-Day signs everywhere, and the entire shop was just…CUTE! If you want to eat your cupcakes at the shop, there’s a little bar area near the front – Just watch your knees while getting in and out (I hit my knees twice doing so :) ).

[Review] Gourmet Cupcakes & Cookies

Richard Paquette - 5 Star rating via Google Reviews

Wow, Patty’s Cakes is WONDERFUL. I love the way you get your cupcake made to order. They have always been fresh and YUMMY!! Their cupcake prices are the best I have seen for a gourmet food cupcake. My favorite is the Eclair cupcake. The chocolate frosting is sooo good and the Bavarian cream filling is outstanding. Today Oct. 27th was a BOGO day… I couldn’t contain myself and decided to think out of the box and try a couple of new ones. They are waiting for me right now. I got the Butter Pecan and the DOS PB & J. I wanted to get one of their fantastic Oatmeal & Rasin cookies but self-control finally won at least once! I know beyond a doubt that I will enjoy my 2 new ones…See you later…sweets here I come!! :)

[Review] Almost 200 cupcakes at my wedding!

Gabriela L. - Garden Grove, CA - 5 Star rating via Yelp

Everything looked amazing and we got so many compliments on our cupcakes! Our guests enjoyed the various flavors (The Butter Pecan went pretty quickly in the night) and my husband and I had The Elvis made into a small 6inch cake for just the two of us! Thank you Patty’s Cakes!

[Review] Don’t let the slightly scuzzy strip mall location put you off

Rob G. - Fullerton, CA - 5 Star rating via Yelp

Don’t let the slightly scuzzy strip mall location put you off … the little bakery that is almost hidden around the corner offers some seriously tasty cupcakes … yeah, they’re a little on the pricey side, but they taste like they use “real” fresh ingredients — not all nasty and “chemical” like others I’ve tried … the Lemon Razzle one is great, but our hands-down fave is the Butter Pecan … yummy! Totally worth checking out :

[Review] College Graduation Party!

Hannah Tan - Fullerton, CA - via Google Reviews

I ordered a bunch of mini cupcakes to share with family and friends for my college graduation party. We got five different flavors, and they were a HUGE hit. Everyone absolutely loved them! All the cupcakes were super flavorful and amazingly moist. Service was also great so we had no issues at all putting in our order and picking up the little cupcakes the day of. Here are the cupcakes we got: – The Elvis – My personal favorite. I LOVE the banana cake and how it blends in perfectly with the peanut butter frosting and the bacon bits. I may be a bit biased since I’m a bacon fanatic, but I think I ate about five of these on my own during my own party, haha. – Chocolate Caramel Salty – I think this was the crowd favorite, since the guests cleared out all the cupcakes less than an hour after we put them out. – Butter Pecan – I really liked the apple and cream cheese! – Red velvet and cream cheese mousse – An old favorite – Chocolate/Raspberry mousse Overall, I would highly recommend someone to use Patty’s Cakes for any celebration. If anything, try out their mini or full sized cupcakes, they’re most definitely worth a taste!

[Review] Cupcake Filled with Apples!!!

Ann Lam - Fullerton, CA - via Google Reviews

My sister bought me cupcake from Patty’s Cakes and I thought it’d be just like any other cupcake, but it wasn’t! I had a cupcake filled with apples (I am guessing it was the butter pecan) and it was so light! You’d imagine that this cupcake to be much more dense and heavy, but it wasn’t at all. I loved the subtle flavors and it had just the right amount of sweetness. Looking forward to trying more cupcakes (and cakes!) from Patty’s Cakes.
