I have been a customer to Patty’s Cakes for years! I’ve ordered their cupcakes and cakes for everything from birthdays to baby showers, and they never disappoint. When it was time to get married, I knew we had to sign up for a tasting. Philip walked us through the different flavor combinations and in the end we settled on the vanilla cake with vanilla Bavarian custard…a simple and clean profile where you can really taste the ingredients. But you can’t go wrong with the other flavors! I’ve always loved the chocolate cake with chocolate chip mousse, but I think after the tasting, the chocolate cake paired with Nutella mousse was absolutely divine. I also love the cream cheese mousse, but wish it had a stronger cream cheese taste (I guess it’s good if you want it on the lighter side). My husband doesn’t like overly sweet things, and isn’t a big dessert person, but he LOVED the cake here. Definitely check out Patty’s Cakes and see for yourself!

We chose Patty’s Cakes to cater our wedding cake after doing a tasting and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. The tasting process was incredibly fun. We got to choose 3 different cake flavors and a variety of different fillings. Every combination was so delicious, and we ultimately chose to do the vanilla cake with strawberry and custard filling. We absolutely loved how the wedding cake tasted! I’m usually not a fan of wedding cakes because they tend to be too sweet, but this cake was not too sweet and was moist and light. A lot of guests commented on how good the cake was! The cake by itself was beautiful as well. We’re so glad we went with Patty’s Cakes for our wedding cake!

Affordable prices and amazing taste. Everyone LOVED the cake! We chose Patty’s Cakes for our wedding and went with the lemon with raspberry filling. The tasting was simple & non-stressful and sooo yummy. Everything was great! Cake fed 70! But we had more than enough left over.

Wonderful bakery! Our wedding venue works with Patty’s Cakes and we are so glad! Our tasting appointment was exciting and Patty was there to guide us in flavor combinations and designs. The tasting was so warm and enjoyable. We left being big fans of Patty’s cakes. The frosting is light and the cake is wonderful. Our wedding cake had strawberry, lemon, and white cake. The cupcake combinations are delicious and when we took some home after our tasting, we called to alter our original choices to be closer to the cupcake flavors. The staff was friendly and accommodating and we will be back soon!

Patty’s Cakes exceeded our expectations! Patty’s Cakes was referred to us by a friend. The entire process, from cake tasting to wedding day was perfectly executed. They were professional and very accommodating since our wedding had to be moved twice due to the COVID restrictions. The quality of the cake was excellent. It was just as delicious the day of the wedding as it was on the tasting day. We opted for a banana cream flavor in cake form (banana cake, Bavarian cream and cream cheese fillings) and it was a big hit with our guests. We look forward to being able to have his again on our anniversary!

Philip was a prince through the initial tasting process and made it very easy to coordinate the delivery (they delivered to our venue on time) and the cake we chose was a true crowd pleaser. The ingredients were so fresh and they nailed our design to a T. We did a yellow cake with fresh strawberry filling and Bavarian cream it was DELICIOUS!! Would highly recommend Patty’s.

We ordered our wedding cake through Patty’s Cakes, and we couldn’t be happier with the process and, most importantly, the taste of our cake! My bridesmaid and I did a tasting a few months before the wedding, and it was one of the best parts of wedding planning. We got to sample so many combinations of flavors – all of them were so good, we brought cupcakes home afterwards. The cake was moist, the frosting wasn’t too sweet, and we were hooked on the guava filling :)
The cake turned out beautifully on our wedding day (with flowers added on by our florist), and we got so many compliments from our guests.
I can’t wait for future events where I can order another cake from Patty’s… in the meantime, I’ll be stopping for cupcakes whenever I’m nearby!

Patty’s Cakes was part of our venue package. It’s easy to schedule the cake tasting and the process was quick and easy. We decided on red velvet with raspberry filling for our wedding cake. It was a delicious cake that people raved about. It’s not sweet and very moist. The staff were very friendly as well. We will come back soon for cupcakes!

Prior to our wedding pre-pandemic, we were consistently referred to a popular SoCal bakery by many friends but our experience with that vendor felt very impersonal and rushed. Not to mention their pricing ended up being out of our budget. My husband, who grew up in the OC, and I stumbled upon Patty’s Cakes and we booked a cake tasting and were immediately sold. The owner was so friendly and personable and treated us as if we were her only couple and the cakes were tried were delicious and not just slices but individual cupcakes! We decided on the white chocolate marble cake which was so moist and decadent with a vanilla Bavarian cream filling. My husband and my top tier has a mint cream filling. Our guests loved the cake! During this pandemic, Philip was so understanding of the multiple times we had to postpone. We had a small 48-person ceremony last November 2020 and ordered a single-tiered cake to share with a few family and friends and this past November we finally got to have a larger reception with our 3-tiered cake and sheet cakes and it was a hit! We’re grateful they were one of our vendors and look forward to celebrating our anniversary each year with a cake from Patty’s! Highly recommend!
