[Review] Great Wedding Cake Service and Delicious Flavors

My husband and I are last minute planners, so naturally when planning a wedding we were very stressed out. Even given the shortened timeline, the people at Patty’s were amazing! From the cake tasting appointment, to the selection, to the delivery! They worked with our budget and were so accommodating to our timeline.

And that is just the service! I cannot say enough about how delicious the cake itself is! We got to customize the combinations, which is a huge plus when planning a wedding for so many different taste palettes. So many guests came up to us to compliment the cake! Great flavor, perfect texture, and a beautiful presentation!

We still go back to pick up cupcakes for our smaller events and plan to use Patty’s again for any future parties.

Patty’s Cakes was our vendor for our wedding cake. The whole process was so easy and seamless. The cake tasting was such a fun experience. The manager was very helpful and the whole process was so efficient. The entire ordering and delivery process was so seamless, that we did not even think about the wedding cake after we left the tasting, which was in retrospect, something we are so thankful about given how stressful the wedding process is! Our wedding cake was so beautiful and it tasted so good! Our wedding cake was a lemon cake with guava and custard filling with their standard light icing. The cake and the icing were not too sweet and very light. They call it icing, but it tastes so light and fluffy like a cream. We are not huge cake people, and even our friends and our older Asian family members, who do not usually like cake because it is usually too sweet, commented on how good the cake was. I mean look at the pure joy on my husband’s face after our first bite of the cake. I’m so excited to eat the cake again on our wedding anniversary! They have won awards from multiple wedding websites for so many years, and it is definitely well deserved. Long story short – the cake is delicious and their process is fun, efficient, and so easy.

We loved having our wedding cake made and delivered by Patty’s Cakes. Jackie was so easy to work with from our cake tasting appointment to the very last details. We ordered a 3 tier cake with lines – top tier was carrot, middle was lemon with raspberry and lemon curd filling and bottom was red velvet w cream cheese filling. We had so many guests compliment us on how yummy the cake was. Our fave was the lemon with raspberry and lemon filling!! My girlfriend decorated it with fresh flowers and it was beautiful! Thank you, Patty’s!!

We were planning our Orange County wedding while I lived in Toronto and my fiancée in Long Beach. Every step of the process to choose our cake was seamless, and we enjoyed the cake tasting. Moist, not too sweet, delicious! – I highly recommend this cake! I actually ordered it before, for my friend’s baby shower, and it was a hit! This time, I ordered it for my husband’s birthday. He does not like cakes because it’s usually too dense and sweet, but he loved Patty’s! The bread is moist (tasted almond flavor in bread, which was pleasant). The bavarian vanilla and raspberry filling inside was very delicious, and not too sweet, just the right amount of filling. The raspberry filling even included seeds, which means they actually used real raspberries instead of raspberry flavor! The cream outside was not too sweet, tasted like sweet cream! Yum!

Delicious cake. I got married at Orange Hill Restaurant and Patty’s was one of their vendors. I chose Patty’s because the pictures looked great and they have a huge variety of cake, filling, and frosting options. We got a 3 layer cake and were able to have 2 flavor combos, which was really fun. The cake was moist, delicious, and beautifully decorated. So many guests commented on how delicious the cake was. I need to make a trip to Fullerton to eat more of their cakes! If you’re looking for a very tasty cake and great service, just go with Patty’s and make your life easy.
