We got cake balls, cupcakes and a 6 inch cake on top for our wedding. Philip was so helpful on selecting the flavor and his recommendations were excellent. Pattys cakes has just the right balance of sweetness and fluff! They delivered to our venue with no issues and it was excellent! Thank you so much!

The cupcakes here are delicious, but the service was mediocre. The girl at the front was not helpful at all. I asked which cupcakes are not too sweet (you know, the fillings and frosting on some cupcakes are sweeter than others) but she’s like “Well, they’re cupcakes so they’re all kinda sweet” and when I asked her which are the best-selling, she’s like “They’re all good.” Well, she obviously has no idea what the cupcakes taste like.
As for the cupcakes themselves, the salted chocolate caramel was definitely the sweetest (but it was good!). I liked the butter pecan with apples the most. The red velvet and mint chip were kinda bland, but not too sweet so I liked them. I also tried banana cream and pina colada and they were all good. I would definitely come back to try the other flavors another time.

Patty’s has THE best cakes in town!!! This review is wayyy past overdue but it’s better late than never.
I had my wedding cake done by Patty’s and everything from the cake tasting to the day of was perfect!! The cake was by far absolutely delicious and I’m the first to admit that I don’t like cake but something about their cakes makes them so yummy!! My husband wanted chocolate cake and I wanted lemon, it wasn’t a problem whatsoever and we got to have both cakes. Not only did the cake taste soooo good, it was gorgeous and just how I pictured it, simple and elegant!
Thank you Patty’s cake and a special shout out to Phil for making the wedding cake of my dreams happen!

My girl friend told me about this place and I am so glad she did because I am totally addicted to this place. I had tried a few of their cupcake flavors and my 2 favorite are the chocolate with chocolate fudge and chocolate caramel salty. Don’t get me wrong! Many of their other flavors are good too, but I am a chocolate kinda girl!
Service is always great and sweet, literally :).

This review is long overdue.. we had the pleasure of having our wedding cake done by Patty’s Cakes on 08/31/14.. From the moment we walked in for our consultation.. through our consultation appointment and a couple of meetings after, Phillip and Patty were a pleasure to work with. They were very professional and listened to everything that we had in mind when it came to our wedding cake. But the best part was how DELICIOUS their cakes are!! (we had a combination of red velvet, lemon with raspberry & bavarian custard, and banana with peanut butter) We had gone to other highly recommended bakeries in the area, but none of their cakes came close to being as tasty, fresh and super moist/ melt in your mouth type cake we got from Patty’s Cakes! Patty and Phillip really work with you to bring your wedding cake vision to reality.. being huge baseball fans, we ordered custom made bobbleheads as our cake topper. We were slightly concerned that due to the weight, it might not be able to work out as our cake topper after all.. but Patty and Phillip made it work! We couldn’t be happier with our whole experience and most of all with how delicious our wedding cake was!

I had such a difficult time finding this place OMG you cannot see it from the street at all. It’s actually facing CHAPMAN, not RAYMOND Ave.! It’s on the corner of Raymond/Chapman so just turn into the plaza, it’s a very tiny place. I’m really in love with the chocolate fudge frosting WOW. That’s the only reason why I gave it 4 stars lol. But what I don’t like is that there is no display of cupcakes. They do have photos. I guess they rather make it as you order it so they don’t waste cupcakes and also they won’t run out of one flavor. I am just used to looking at the cupcakes and picking out which ones look good. So it was a little odd for me but the photos on the wall help.
They do offer gluten-free cupcakes. They have typical flavors like chocolate cake or vanilla cake and you pick your frosting. Another thing I do not like is the cream filling. Most people might like it but honestly, there’s way more than enough frosting on top and in the middle more cream. I feel like I barely had enough cake, just a ton of sweetness. Customer service is okay but they aren’t that welcoming, just stare at you until you order. That kind of people makes me feel so awkward lol. Cupcakes were good though. Average price is $3.50. They come in cute pink boxes. I think if you buy 3, you get 1 free with the Yelp check-in if they are still offering the deal. I’m not going back though for a very long time because I have bought enough cupcakes for now.
I do prefer Hapa Cupcakes because the owners are super nice and they always remember me, they know what I like and I just feel more special there lol. But definitely worth checking out here too. I read that they make good cakes for weddings and such. They do have a tiny table here in case you can’t wait to eat your cupcakes like me. They have water too. BTW, the gluten-free cupcake tasted just as good, I really couldn’t tell the difference at all. If you’re a chocolate lover, you definitely want to try out their chocolate fudge cupcake. Yum yum.

My husband and I got married six months ago. Patty’s Cakes was phenomenal! The
customer service was excellent. They were able to draw the cake we wanted and
worked with our budget. As well as provided a delicious complimentary cake
tasting. They were always available to any quesitons we had. We had a beautiful
pink and white cake. It was delicious. We served yellow cake with chocolate mouse
filling for our guests and chocolate cake with butter cream filling for our cake.
The cake was delicious, moist, and intricate. We still get compliments on the cake
six months later. Patty’s will be providing every cake we need for the rest of our
life celebrations! I won’t go anywhere else!

I can’t say enough great things about Patty’s cakes! I brought in a photo of a 1st
birthday cake I found on Pinterest, it actually turned out BETTER than the sample I
brought in. Not only was the cake absolutely stunning, everyone raved about how
gorgeous it was, it was absolutely delicious. I’ve been to the other “upscale”
cake shops in the area, and I will only be getting our special occasion cakes from
Patty’s from now on! Oh, and their cake pops are amazing too! Especially the
s’mores one.
