I have known about Patty’s Cakes & Desserts for awhile now, however never tried it ’til now. I ordered the Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Mousse Cupcake. It was moist and the cream cheese mousse was very fluffy and creamy too. The mousse texture was good, just the right amount of sweet, but the cream cheese flavor was on the lighter side. I also ordered the Chocolate with Strawberry Mousse Cupcake. The chocolate cake was moist and fluffy. Good chocolate flavor. There was a vanilla mousse filling in the center of the chocolate cake. Wish there was more. The strawberry mousse was very similar in texture to the cream cheese mousse. Not overly sweet either, which I appreciate. However, also like the cream cheese mousse, the strawberry flavor was on the lighter side. A much, much lighter strawberry flavor. The Early Riser Cupcake is my favorite. Cake was moist and spongy. There was a vanilla mousse filling in the center too. Was my favorite of all the cakes I’ve tasted. All I could taste was the bacon and maple syrup drizzled on top. Those flavors dominated. The Nutella mousse flavoring was on the lighter side. However, the Nutella mousse, bacon and maple syrup brought the cupcake together for an overall stronger cupcake flavor profile! Everything was delicious together! Would love to go back and try some other flavors!
