We were referred to Patty’s Cakes by our venue’s coordinator, and they did not disappoint! Philip was extremely professional and the whole process was a breeze. We wanted to have some variety for our guests, and having a small cake to cut and cupcakes was a perfect option! Also, the flavor options were outstanding – and I love that they don’t rely on fondant, their whipped icing is AMAZING.

BEST CUPCAKES IN THE OC…or in the world! ^_^
I took a bite of their BANANA CREAM CUPCAKE and I’m hooked! White sponge with vanilla cream filling and a banana custard icing on top. So MOIST and NOT OVERLY SWEET. Sooo luscious and delicious! I’m not even a huge fan of bananas but loved it!
Ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for my son’s birthday party. My family and friends loved it and asked where they’re from. Ordered online and picked it up at the store. The staff who helped me was super nice and sweet and helped me take the cupcakes to my car because I had my son with me.
Patty’s also offers mini cupcakes, custom cakes, cookies, cake balls and etc. Limited parking in the back, ask for Gluten-free and they have delivery. I’m looking forward to trying more cupcake flavors!
TIP: They don’t do fondant cake. It’s okay. No one eats fondant anyway!

We found out about Patty’s Cakes as they are one of our wedding venue’s preferred vendors. I looked up their reviews and since the majority was positive, we scheduled a cake tasting and were pleased to walk into such a cute cake/dessert shop! All the cakes we tried were delicious, not too sweet and they don’t use fondant. I knew exactly the flavor I wanted and I’m grateful that my fiance agreed with me, so we went with red velvet with chocolate chips. On our wedding day, the cake was delivered on time but I noticed a shimmer which I didn’t expect on our cake and wasn’t in favor of it. All in all, we were content with the process and the cake as our guests enjoyed it!
