Seriously the best red velvet and cream cheese cake I have ever ate in my life!! The cake was sooo moist and delicious. I’m so glad they do not use fondont. Everything came out as I imagined it. Thanks so much Patty’s Cake!!

found this place on yelp to get my sick wife a red velvet cupcake which in my experience compared to other places i tried in santa monica and LA is an 8/10; but may be higher depending on personal preference, I like more of a cream cheese frosting this one seemed more whiped. Although the red velvet cake balls i had were 10/10 i have nothing to compare them to but wow that is quite a punch in a little package…well done

Love the details and docorations put into Patty’s Cakes Shop. It’s so cute and cozy looking. Warm welcoming. Love the idea that the cupcake are iced to your order. Went there originally for the cupakes and sure was I amazed!!! I’m in love with their red velvet cupcakes. The cake was so moist and the icing was simply delicious! It wasn’t sweet at all and made to perfection! I will have to go back and try Patty’s Cakes in the future!!! My new spot to turn to for red velvet cupcakes that’s for sure!!!

My daughter allowed her step dad, Rick, to provide a cake for her wedding, a job he enthusiastically jumped into. After careful research on line, for design, reviews and price, he started calling to make appointments for tasting. He was very disapointed in the lack of helpfulness of the people he talked to at some well known bakeries. That’s when we recalled the amazing red velvet cake we had at a birthday party a few months earlier. It was from Patty’s Cakes! A check of their web site showed several designs the bride loved. One call to the extremely helpful Phillip, and Rick was on his way to a tasting. Everything was sooo good it was hard to decide. The cake was gorgeous, delicious and the centerpiece of the perfect wedding dinner. We will go back again, and recommend Patty’s Cakes to everyone looking for great cake, quality and service with loving care!!

Patty’s cakes are as beautiful as they are delicious. I brought in several pictures and she did a great job in listening to what I wanted and creating the perfect design for our wedding.We chose the lemon and white cake with raspberry cream filling and the frosting is light and a not-too-sweet topping to a wonderfully moist cake. Fresh and delicious. I had passed by the unassuming location several times and thought to myself, “I should try this place.” It wasn’t until I saw the Elvis cupcake featured on Channel 7 News that I realized that I was passing by a real treasure of confectionary bliss. I’ve been on a salted caramel trend lately and was very pleased to see that combination offered on the menu. It didn’t disappoint. I was also pleased with the service, very courteous and attentive. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Thu did my wedding cake and it came out just amazing! They did a red velvet / chocolate for each layer with a raspberry and cream filling (which was their recommendation) it looked wonderful and tasted just as good. The frosting was light and fluffy and didn’t make you feel sick after eating it and the design came out beautiful. And best of all their price was better than the other places I had looked at that didn’t offer as much. Thanks!
