I have updated my review from my previous post to credit their excellent customer service. The owners contacted me and corrected the situation I experienced which I greatly appreciated. They cherish their customers and that is a good thing to know. Like I mentioned before, their cake balls are to die for in addition to their cupcakes and cakes. The red velvet cake that I took home that day lasted at least a week. It retained its moisture and was delicious!

After reading all the reviews, I pre-ordered a quarter sheet cake 1.5 weeks ago for
bf’s b-day today, it turned out great!!!
I got a chocolate flavor cake with Vanilla Bavarian Custard filling; the cake is
very very moist and flavorful!!!
The best thing about this cake is its not overly sweet!!! it just has the perfect
amount of sweetness/sugar!!!!
it’s a decent size cake and can easily be shared between 20-25 adults!
I ordered two cupcakes on the side and they also helped me packed it individually.
The staff was really nice and helpful.
I will definitely definitely come back again for more cake orders in the

My husband and I got married six months ago. Patty’s Cakes was phenomenal! The
customer service was excellent. They were able to draw the cake we wanted and
worked with our budget. As well as provided a delicious complimentary cake
tasting. They were always available to any quesitons we had. We had a beautiful
pink and white cake. It was delicious. We served yellow cake with chocolate mouse
filling for our guests and chocolate cake with butter cream filling for our cake.
The cake was delicious, moist, and intricate. We still get compliments on the cake
six months later. Patty’s will be providing every cake we need for the rest of our
life celebrations! I won’t go anywhere else!

We bought a cake for the first time this year, but we buy cupcakes once a month to celebrate many different occasions and we’re never disappointed. Just like their cupcakes, the cake was beautifully decorated for my daughter’s first birthday. I only requested a pink and purple decorations with a cupcake picture. What we got was a delicious, moist marble cake with the cutest picture of a cupcake, holding a bear and balloon, with a single candle topping it off. They also added edible glitter to make it so eye-catching. Everyone at the party loved the cake and I sent home their signature cupcakes as party favors. Needless to say, we’ll be back again to order more cakes for all of our celebrations.

Patty’s Cakes is awesome! Our wedding cake turned out amazing. We only visited one other bakery before our tasting at Patty’s, and there was no reason to look further after that. We sampled several cake flavors and fillings and fell in love with their mandarin orange mousse and pineapple cream cheese mousse fills. Their cake is also very well priced. They charge by the cake and not by slice.
It was great working with Philip. He was super friendly, knowledgeable and worked with us to put together our dream cake.
Our wedding reception flew by quickly, but I made sure I got to eat my slice of cake! It was moist and delicious! We had people tell us how yummy the cake was too.
Highly recommended!

First time here. Just had their red velvet cupcake and it was just the best. The cupcake itself was nice and moist and the frosting was very light and had the right amount of sweetness to it. The sprinkles on top made it look like nice too. Definitely coming back here again.

We ordered a three layer cake for our wedding vow renewal. It was absolutely beautiful! We had so many compliments on how delicious, moist and beautiful the cake looked and tasted. We ordered the chocolate, banana and white cake with raspberry filling. The frosting was light and sweet but not too sweet. We are already getting ready to plan our next big event and will definitely be a returning customer.

Patty Cakes is definitely worth a try. I’m actually visiting from out of town (I live in
Arlington, VA close to DC where the Georgetown Cupcakes phenomena has gotten a bit tired).
Anyway, a friend who lives locally asked if I like cupcakes. I told him I do, but typically
find that most cupcakes sold in bakeries are dry and rely heavily on the frosting to make up
for it. He suggested I check this place out and recommended the Elvis. Unfortunately, they were
all out of that particular cupcake, but it was close to 6P, their closing time. So, that was
completely understandable.
The woman who helped me was so nice. She told me I didn’t have to order straight from the menu
and feel free to mix & match. I left with four beautiful cupcakes. The frosting was just the
right amount of sweet without being completely overindulgent, and the cupcake itself was so
moist and fluffy. If I lived locally it’s definitely a place I frequent.

I never heard of cake calls before? Put simply they are very much like cake pops without the stick. However the cake balls at Patty’s are just phenomenal. My husband who is way over the cupcake craze and isn’t really into sweets loves the German chocolate cake ball while I adore the red velvet one. We got other flavors (banana, chocolate chip, confetti, and chocolate) and all of them tasted great. Moist, perfect dense was, and yummy coating. Each ball was $3.00 and so much better than small measly cake pops :-) would highly recommend.
