[Review] Customer Service was Excellent!!!

I found Patty’s cakes on yelp and was not dissapointed.
The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I have
not had enough of the flavors to go there, but I will
definately go back. If you want a cake book early. I was
going to order a cake for my daughter’s birthday, but they
were already booked. I went in two weeks ahead. I decided
to try out some of the cupcakes. They were all good or
better. The customer service was excellent too. You can
tell it is a mom and pop kind of business and there are not
enough of those around.

Cake pops were delicious! Very moist and a great flavor. Just the right amount of sweetness. Also tried a chocolate cupcake with peanut butter frosting. The frosting was very light – like an airy mousse. The cupcake itself was very good, but was not sure what to think of the small bit of creme in the center – seemed a tad out of place. Staff was very nice and service was pretty quick. Overall, very good quality for the pricing. I will be returning to try the Elvis cupcake.

Move over, that-overhyped-cupcake-place-in-Newport-Beach! (I honestly can’t remember the
name, I swear). This place got the secret to keep your (wo)man(en) down: bacon and cupcake
in one decadent combination- The Elvis. Ah jeez only if I knew how to bake, I would get so
much punanis, but I only know how to make bacon infallibly, I just gotta hang with the boys
for a while.

I was lucky enough to try patty’s cakes at a friend’s
graduation and it was love at first bite. When my now
husband and I were planning our wedding it was without a
doubt that I wanted Patty’s cake for my wedding and he
agreed. The entire process was effortless and enjoyable. A
few emails back and forth with Phil on meeting times and it
was set. We meet with Patty and she was a DOLL!! She sat
down with us we showed her pictures and tried delish
flavors of cake! How many bakeries let you sit down with
the mastermind behind the whole company to dream up your
favorite cake for your big day?? Patty’s Cakes does! She
had a great idea; the cake was layered lemon and chocolate
and in between was a Bavarian cream with raspberry!! My
mouth waters when I think of it! Let me tell you we had
enough cake for 140 guests, our final count was 122 and we
had no cake left over. My father-in-law and some others
didn’t even have a slice of cake. Every plate you looked at
was clean, not a sign of frosting or cake. After the
wedding we took the top tear and ate it in our hotel room
with my in-laws and my father. It was a perfect ending to a
perfect night!! Without Patty’s Cake there would have
definitely been something missing.

[Review] This is by far the best place I have ever eaten a cupcake or cake balls.

The smores was too sweet for me but the velvet cake – heaven in my mouth. The “Elvis”
(peanut butter and banana cream with bacon bits) – yum! And butter pecan with an apple
filling. Good cream but the apple filling made me feel like I was eating an apple pie and
not a cupcake.

Need I say more? SERIOUSLY…this is by far the best place I have ever eaten a cupcake or
cake balls. Patty’s cake is so moist, and the perfect taste in each bite! Just go here and
try it, you won’t regret it! Sometimes yelps has deals – so make sure you try to check in!
We got a free cake ball after purchasing the cupcakes with the yelp deal last time we went.
