I love the EXCELLENT SERVICE, the FRIENDLY atmosphere, and of course, the CAKES. I especially love the chocolate Elvis and the Velvet cupcakes. They are truly the BEST cupcakes and I find myself coming back again and again for them!

The friendly service was fantastic. That was my first time at Patty’s Cakes even though I have work down the street for 11 years. I had never heard of this shop before. I think it was a fabulous litte cake shop and the fact that you can buy single items…Yeah!

I found patty’s cakes and desserts online and im so happy i chose them to make my bf’s cake. They did such a great job designing the cake like a pizza. It was perfect and so pretty, it had bell peppers, onions, olives, pepperoni!! My bf was sooo happy and thought it was the best cake he ever saw or ate. The cake was so moist and delicious! I’ve been craving their pastries ever since and went back couple days later and bought 3 cupcakes and finished them in one day…i’ve got to say, this place is the best and i will be getting all my future cakes from here and probably coming in every week for some cupcakes for myself!

Ordered cupcakes for the office for the months b-days. I ordered a few of each and all were well received. The c-cakes were moist and flavorful and therte is a great selection of frostings. The gentleman helping me was very helpful and courteous. While I was waiting for my order I tried one a German Chocolate cake ball and it was very flavorful. I didn’t know what to expect but it was very dense and rich and went down great. All of the office mates gave it a thumbs up.

So delicious! I enjoyed the dense cake, how it wasn’t overly sweet, and the aesthetics of the cupcake! Will be going back to try the cake balls. Friendly service, and such a happy ambiance inside. Nice to see a dedicated cupcake/cake store in North Orange County area!!!

Note: I never liked cake balls/pops just because it was a textural thing and all the ones I have tried were too commercial tasting… BUT!!!
S’more Cake Ball
OH MY GOODNESS!!! This is what changed my mind about all cake pops/balls… This was just straight up BOMB!!! I’m a s’mores type of person to begin with and well, this was SA-TIS-FY-ING…. I almost made a u-turn to purchase a few more but told myself one is enough.. for now at least haha.
Red Velvet Cake Ball
Nothing too special about this one… I think the cake itself could’ve had more of a coca taste to it, because the white chocolate coating was over-powering the cake. All I tasted was the white chocolate coating.
OVERALL: I would love to come back and try the other few flavors they had in their display case.
Like I always say, YOU WON’T KNOW UNLESS YOU TRY IT YOURSELF!!! =]

I only came by this bakery to pick up some cupcakes, so I don’t know anything about their cakes. I can say that their cupcakes were amazing though! I haven’t been to a lot of cake shops or cupcake places, but I was really impressed with this place. The shop itself is really small and has a cool, family style theme to it with lots of pictures and decorations. The cupcakes were $3 each, and you get a little menu to mark off the ones that you want. They put the frosting on them fresh for you while you wait.
Although the cupcakes were great, the reason this place gets 5 stars is the service. The lady at the front counter was super friendly and nice, and really made the customers feel welcome. I’m definitely returning here.

When visiting bakeries for the first time, I always get the red velvet. If I like the red velvet cupcakes then I’ll keep coming back. And I loved Patty’s red velvet. The cupcake was moist and the frosting was fluffy and sweet (but not too thick and overpowering). I also got the chocolate chip cake balls, and they were delicious. It tasted like I was eating cookie dough! I’m definitly going back for more.

My goodness. All of the reviews are right. This place is amazing!
My good friend Sarah brought me and my friend here on our girl’s day out and WOW! I was blown away. The shop is so quaint and adorable and the lady in the front is just oozing with sweetness. Once we put in our orders for our cupcakes to be iced on the spot, we sat by and amused ourselves by looking at their book full of past wedding cakes (all amazing and creative by the way).
We ordered red velvet, elvis, and a chocolate chip cake ball.
Red Velvet: You HAVE to get one of these. The cake is light and very fluffy. The frosting is to die for.. You can really taste the cream cheese and it’s so perfectly creamy and delcious. My mouth is watering just writing this review…
Elvis: My friend and I both squealed “EWW” when we read its description. Peanut butter, banana and bacon cupcake? The guy in the front laughed at us and said that it is actually pretty good. And he was right! It was unexpectedly tasty; the combination of the sweet banana cake, fluffy peanut butter frosting and crisp salty bacon was unique but good at the same time.
Chocolate chip cake ball: I only had a tiny bite of my friend’s when I really wanted to just stuff the whole thing in my mouth. It had great texture and the combination of cake and chocolate was an epic win.
For 3 dollars each, I guess you can say they’re pretty expensive especially for the cake balls. Come in on a special ocassion when you can afford to gain a few pounds and you won’t regret it!
Hurrah for Patty and her cakes! Right when we received the goodies she assured us that we WILL be back, and she was definitely right!

Patty’s cakes is the best bakery ever! So far we have gotten my son’s baby shower, first birthday cake, my engagement cake and we will also order our wedding cake here. All of Patty’s cakes staff are all extremely helpful and willing to work with you in whatever it is you want for your cake. The cake balls are delicious, the s’mores cake ball is THE BEST thing I have ever tasted in my life. They really take pride in every dessert they make and could not have asked for anything more out of a cake shop. -Carly (one satisfied customer)
