“I live in North Carolina, but work for a company in Fountain Valley, CA. I wanted to treat my co-workers to a cake to celebrate my birthday. I searched bakeries and found Patty’s Cakes and Desserts online and gave her a call. Patty went out of her way to help me in selecting the size, flavor and filling for the perfect birthday cake. Payment was a breeze and she kept in contact with me by email and phone prior to cake delivery so I felt very comfortable with this transaction. Sadly, I did not get to try the cake, but my coworkers said it was delicious. Thank you, Patty, for a wonderful cake and spectacular customer service!”

“Patty made me look like a hero – Last minute birthday situation… Super busy with work, almost forgot about the girlfriends birthday, remembered she loves Red Velvet cupcakes, and immediately searched for nearby, quality bakeries. Without question, surfing is a popular sport in Orange County. We have beautiful weather and amazing beaches. So whether it’s your 7th or 70th birthday, a surfing birthday cake is just plain cool. Once this “dude” bottom-turns his fork into this chocolate cake with strawberry and cream filling, we know he’ll be smiling like he just caught an epic wave.

Everyone has their favorite movie growing up. For Patty’s Grandson Ethan that movie is Disney-Pixar’s “UP.” Excited to go above and beyond to make a special cake for his 2nd birthday, she set out to create the balloon lifted house from the movie. The house is made of entirely of chocolate and white cake. The balloons have a styrofoam core with frosting on the outside to create the colorful balloons. Like 99% of her cakes, no fondant was used, just smooth icing. The party was held at Hillcrest Park in Fullerton, and what a beautiful day it was to have an outdoor birthday party.
