It was fun experience doing cake tasting with Kelli. She was amazing and made it easy for us to pick our wedding cake. The only hard part was picking the flavor, because they’re all so good. The butter pecan cupcake was our favorite.

[Review] Great Red Velvet Cupcake Bakery Review: Disappointing Experience

I had such high expectations from this bakery and was extremely disappointed. I should have followed my instinct and avoided giving them my business when their counter staff was rude and dismissive. Here’s everything that went wrong and why they have lost a customer:
1. Rude staff who does not want to help the customer. I went to their shop twice to order a two tier and sheet cake. On my first visit, the lady said that the custom cake person had left for the day. I returned the following day and was told that they only take orders online or by appointment. They couldn’t have told me that the first time?!?
2. Their delivery did not cover the venue event so I asked for delivery to my house. The delivery person left both, a two-tier cake and a sheet cake, completely exposed, unboxed. I called immediately and was that they transport cakes inboxes and the lady advised me to transport the cake in the same manner by placing it on the floor of my car. Completely EXPOSED!! She said that the delivery person also transports them unboxed and exposed! How is that safe and hygienic?!
Needless to say, the transport was an utter disaster as the cake slid off the board even though I was driving at low speeds and extremely carefully.
3. The cake cutting service at the venue informed me that while they were cutting the sheet cake, they found large piece of plastic in the cake!! I wish they had taken a picture of it.
4. I have never had marble cake that looked like an utter mess. Take a look at the picture.
After spending over $400, I am utterly disappointed.

Patty’s Cakes made my wedding cake for about 120 guests. The cakes were absolutely fantastic and I had guests coming up to me to tell me the cake was soooo good. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for cakes that are both beautiful and extremely delicious as well.

We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding cake from Patty’s Cakes. Everything from the tasting to delivery was amazing. We were able to tie in both of our tastes into our cake and it was so delicious. We assumed we were going to have a lot of left overs but our guests ate everything and loved it!

Beautiful and delicious – We and our guests were so impressed with the taste of the cake! The flavor we chose was bitter yellow cake, with raspberry and lemon filling. The cake was the perfect sweetness. And the cake was beautifully frosted. Our guests asked where the cake was from and we told them. Thank you Pattys Cakes!

Great selection of cakes, cupcakes and goodies. Website was easy to navigate and order. Great communication also, i made a type-o on the card added to the order. I contacted Patty’s and asked for a correction. Paulina wrote back to me the following day and said, no problem, we made the correction on the card for my Dad’s 101st Birthday order of cup cakes. This type of Service is rare now days and i highly recommend Patty’s Cakes, and my Dad sad on my last order to him, the best cup cakes he had ever had. Best wishes, Rick – Northern Nevada

Patty’s cake was amazing! We loved our wedding cake. The size and taste was just perfect, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone. It was a smooth process to work with the Patty’s Cake team and our cake testing day went very well. They let you try a few different combinations and we had a difficult time deciding which flavor, because everything was so delicious!
