I ordered a 10″ round, semi-custom cake and 2 dozen mini cupcakes for my son’s birthday this past weekend. First and most importantly: the cake and cupcakes were delicious. We ordered the chocolate with chocolate chip mousse, chocolate with vanilla mousse, and vanilla with strawberry mousse flavors and they all tasted great. They paid attention to the details of my order for the MOST part – they got the colors and basic design right and left space at the top as requested so I could add my own Lego candies. However, they spelled my son’s name wrong and it’s not an unusual spelling! I even double-checked my online order and it was correct there. I am partially to blame for not making sure the spelling was right before I left the shop with the cake but I didn’t think it was something to worry about. By the time I noticed the error, the shop was closed and was going to be closed the following day as well so there was no way I could get it fixed before the party. Oh well. Almost a perfect score!
