Wow. One of the best cakes I’ve ever eaten. I randomly chose (based on great Yelp reviews and proximity to my party location) Patty’s Cakes for my granddaughter’s birthday cake. I ordered #14889, the unicorn cake. The only difference was that I had the eyes made of gold frosting. The cake was AMAZING. It was absolutely beautiful! My granddaughter and her girlfriends loved it.
Usually, I only eat cake. Most frostings are too sweet for me. The cake was moist and delicious. The filling was ample without being too much, and the frosting was the best I’ve had. It was almost like a cross between whipped cream and frosting. Not too sweet or oily, but held up like a buttercream. I loved this cake.
Additionally, I ordered on short notice, over the phone, and everything was perfect. I’ll definitely order from Patty’s again, and they’re not even near me.
