We ordered and paid for 9 doz. over the phone because we were having a welcome to the family party for our newborn in California. On the day of the party I arrived at the pickup time and everything was ready to go. Each cupcake was a perfect miniature recreation of their larger cupcakes. They looked beautiful, tasted absolutely delicious and were gone from the table in less than 10 minutes at the party. We will definitely be back for a first birthday cake next year, and told everyone who asked where the cupcakes came from at the party.

I had to make a stop to Patty’s Cakes because my friend highly recommended it. I’m a really big cupcake lover so I’d have to give this place a 4 star because it was a little too sweet for my liking.
I ordered four cupcake balls and two of their regular cupcakes. The cupcakes were moist and not dry and crumbly like a lot of places I’ve been too but the cupcake balls were perfect. I order the smores and the red velvet. Of the two the smores are my favorite. For cupcakes, I got the white chocolate and the cream cheese red velvet.
Though they were a little sweet it was very interesting to put red velvet and cream cheese but it was great. The shops a little small and their huge menus can be a little intimidating but I’d suggest the ones I tried because they were good. Also, the ladies who run the shop are very sweet just like their cupcakes. I know if I’m ever in Fullerton I’d stop by again.

This place is still #1 for birthday cakes to cupcakes around the whole LA & OC area. I’ve been to places that were featured competitors on cupcake wars and still they are close but still far from what you experience at this amazing shop!!! Cake balls are so good too!Only thing I hate is that prices not just here but almost every cupcake joint has a price tag of $3 to $5 a cupcake. Why is that?!? Oh well this place can take my money because my tastebuds know that when it comes to flavor, moisture, texture, taste, & service, I will not be disappointed!!! =)

The place was a little hard to find, but I’m glad I did. The girl who took my order (I should’ve gotten her name) was incredibly sweet and helpful. I got a few cupcakes to surprise my coworkers, and everyone loved them. Patty’s has a great variety of flavors, and the mousse is light enough that even people who don’t like frosting really enjoyed their cupcakes.

Well, the first time I did a review, it didn’t appear, so I will redo and add for the other cupcakes I got since. Last time was last week, I got the Pina Colada, with Coconut frosting, white cake with pineapple filling. Because I wanted to get the bus yet wanted to also eat, I ate outside (missed the first bus, anyhow), which I do not recommend on a windy day. My cupcake blew off the little table, but I ate it anyway (though lost my tiny decorative umbrella/parasol off my cupcake). Santa Ana winds are something to factor in! I enjoyed it a lot; have not been disappointed yet in flavor and moistness. I have not liked cupcakes from other places –they are too dry (Hapcake was OK, though didn’t really have a liquor flavor). I also liked the other cupcakes I’ve had at other times: when they could find my Yelp! review, the nice girl gave me a free cupcake anyway (and everytime lately, I get a buy one get one free coupon, which I had better use). That day I tried Lemon Razzle, because I wanted to taste lemon and raspberry together. That is a great combination, and the cream filling was just right. Before, the first time, I ordered white cake with Mint chip mousse, a favorite of mine and will have again. The texture and moistness and flavor of mousse frosting is outstanding. I also had cake balls –S’Mores was good and so was whatever else I had, but I like the cupcakes better because of the moistness. I also had another cupcake, Eclaire which was good too. I think I will try the peanut butter next, Neapolitan, banana split chocolate chipper and butter pecan.

I’m in love with cupcakes!! So my sisters bought me two cupcakes from this place and they were amazing!
Neapolitan – has a white cake which was moist, and has a chocolate and strawberry frosting and it was really good. The frosting is not too sweet and it’s really light, not heavy and overbearing. It was great! I normally like very sweet frosting, but the light taste of the frosting worked well with the cake.
Piña Colada – my favorite out of these two. I loved the pineapple filling and the white cake was perfectly baked, not dry at all. The coconut on top tasted fresh and was delicious!
I plan to visit this place myself next time around to try some more!
