I Have experienced a wedding cake ordered for my brothers wedding. the lemon filling was amazing, the cake
was moist and fluffy, and was absolutely delicious. When my brother and sister n law finally got their
wedding photos and slide show we had a little dinner party and my mom returned to Patty’s Cakes and bought
a dozen cupcakes. OMG! These all tasted like little bits of heaven. Unable to make a decision my mom
ordered a random box and they were all different. I don’t know all the flavors we received but I know that
mine was a peanut butter and jelly. My husband had peanut butter with bacon on it and loved it. My
daughter had a banana bread one that she loved. My sister in law had a mint n chip that was fun and
delicious she said. We’re not exactly sure on all the flavors were in the box but all were amazing.

This place really make their cakes with lots of love! Their cakes are moist and flavorful and don’t me
started on how fantastic the frosting is! They made our cake at our wedding last month and it was as
beautiful as it was tasty. Our families are not ones who love sweet desserts, so they recommended the
lemon cake with raspberry filling and it was AMAZING! The staff is also super friendly too! Super!

It was buy 3 get 1 free cupcakes :(
I only bought 1. The eclair, which had tons of flavor in the frosting and the cupcake was moist, but there was something missing from its neighbor, Hapa cupcakes. But they have a way better variety. WAYYY better.
They’re both way better than the ones you and I could make.
They do take some time to get your cupcake, which I may suspect is because they make the bottom pre-made and the top is where its made-to-order. The lady was also kind enough to include a B1G1 free card in the box of the one cupcake I had.
OH YEAH some cupcakes are GLUTEN FREE AS WELL~

This is way overdue and still wanted to share my experience with Patty and her creations. My now husband Jose and I got married May 24th, 2014. It truly was the wedding that we always wanted and more so with Patty’s awesome work. The whole experience was extraordinary and have nothing but great comments for her delicious cake great customer service. Before I found Patty, my husband and I went to several cake tastings in the OC area. Some were good but not the best. When we had a cake tasting with Patty, I could tell right away that she is such a sweet lady but most importantly, it was obvious that she had been in business for many years because of all of her great suggestions. It also helped that the price of the cake was right on budget! When my husband tried the cake (i have to add that he is very picky when it comes to sweets), he loved it and we knew that we had to hire Patty to make our fun and delicious cake. Like she promised, all the cake was gone after the wedding, which we have seen that in other weddings, the cake is wasted. Not ours! After the wedding, the cake was one of the things people would talk about. It was such a hit! Our flavors were, half chocolate, half lemon with a strawberry mousse and raspberry sauce. Truly delicious!

I ordered my wedding cake from Patty’s cakes. I had lemon and white cake. Patty even made the lemon flavor purple to match my wedding colors! It was amazing. Even though my day flew and I barely got to eat any of this amazing cake, all my guests raved about how delicious and moist the cake was and the purple lemon was a pleasant surprise!
Patty and her staff are so easy to work with! She makes sure you get EXACTLY what you want on your special day. It is all about YOU! Her staff showed up right on time and set it up with ease and no stress! I would definitely recommend Patty and Patty’s Cakes for any occasion!

LOVED my wedding cake so much! From the design to the flavor…it was perfection. We ended up choosing the lemon cake with Bavarian cream and raspberry filling (their “Razzle” cupcake if you ever want to drop in a try it). AMAZING. When I used to think lemon cake…I words that would come to mind were “tart” or “too sweet”….but no, Patty’s was light and delightful. The guests loved it and one of them even told me they had 4 slices!
Philip made the whole process easy and smooth. From cake tasting and communicating with me regarding any details….we had no problems. I decided to have fresh flowers to decorate my cake and Patty made it so beautiful. Everything I imagined and more. And prices were much reasonable than the other bakery I inquired about :)
Thank you Patty and Philip for making the process so easy and making our wedding cake so beautiful and DELICIOUS! (BTW–got a lemon cake ball when I dropped off my cake stands and it was delish! I’ll be back whenever I’m in the area!)

Preparations for our wedding started 11 months in advance, and even though we had less than 100 guests we wanted to honor each one of them and create a memorable event. We hired a local cake vendor, and one month before our wedding she canceled on us because of a family trip. We then rushed to visit several other bakeries with some not passing our taste test and others not capable to create the design we wanted. Most could not accommodate us on short notice until we finally read the reviews about Patty’s cakes in Fullerton Ca.
We were welcomed by Phillip (Patty’s son) and he immediately understood our needs. The tasting was fabulous and very thorough. Their signature icing is like a delicate mousse with the perfect texture. The design choices and extra custom work fit perfectly for what we were looking for and all on short notice and at very reasonable price. Phillip told us the cake will be made same day to insure it tasted and looked fresh. The combinations we picked were mouthwatering and Phillip helped us all the way to make sure everything would be exactly as we were planning. The delivery fee was very reasonable and the cake showed up on time for our florist to add the fresh flowers. Our guests asked for seconds and the cake was the sweet touch of our sweetest day :)
PS: A full month after the wedding our guests are still commenting on how much they enjoyed our special cake!
