[Review] My husband hates cakes, but he loved Patty’s!

Were shopping for Wedding cakes this summer.
We taste tested 4 bakeries in LA & Orange county.
Hands down , when it came to flavor and texture, Pattys no question beat every other by a landslide. And my husband hates cake!

Ended up ordering two 2-tier cakes, and each tier consists of 2 cake flavors and a filling flavor, plus the Frosting flavor!
Cake 1 had Funfettered & Blue Velvet cake w french vanilla filling.
Cake 2 was Banana & White Cake with Peanut Butter Filling
Then we topped w Cream Cheese Frosting on both.

They don’t F around w fondant which most parties like to have these days but in my opinion, it was no compromise, because fondant to me, taste tastes like a paper bag. They have genius frosting pastry chefs who customized a teal blue hombe air brushed effect over a tremendous frosting pattern that looked like thick curly waves.

It was fresher than I imagined on the day of.

We got compliments from the executive chef at our venue who custom designed our dinner menu & honest to God, he said he has tasted a lot of cakes from vendors and this was easily a favorite.

Married November 9th & just pulled the top tier out of the freezer to serve at Christmas dinner.
It was as good as the day it was delivered.

Been going to Pattys regularly now for special days just to have their cake balls…hmmmmmm.

We ae spoiled now and it’s the only cake we will ever eat. Never Ever gets boring.

Texture: Fluffy consistency with a gourmet flavors.

Huge Party Pleaser.
You won’t regret it.
And every is so nice.

For my wedding I looked at many different cake shops in Orange County and went to a few different tasting buts Patty’s really was the best choice I could have made! They were so easy to work with, make great cakes and have reasonable prices. I would recommend Patty’s Cakes to anyone!!

We learned about this establishment from a good friend of ours who highly recommended the place. I also read reviews from Yelp and so my fiance and I went and checked the place out. Mind you, we needed our wedding cake in a week. Philip helped us and in 20 minutes we had picked out our cake and we were happy with what we chose. We are so happy Philip was able to deliver on the cake in such a short amount of time. And best of all, the cake was very delicious. Our guests had nothing but praise for our cake which put the “icing” on our already beautiful wedding. Thank you Philip and Patty from Patty’s cakes. God bless you!

We had Patty’s Cakes provide our wedding cake and it was just perfect! The tasting appointment was fun because Patty is really funny and clearly enjoys her job! Even more important the cake came out delicious and pretty – it looked exactly how we had talked about in our tasting appointment! The fact that they will include two flavors in a single layer of cake (so each piece has two flavors) is a unique twist!

Patty’s Cakes was really familiar with our venue, and we didn’t have to do a single thing. The cake just showed up exactly where and when it was supposed to. I’m so glad we went with this vendor. Plus, all of our interactions with Patty’s staff were professional and pleasant. Everyone that works there is friendly and helpful and a joy.

We can’t wait to come back on our anniversary and get some cupcakes in our wedding cake flavors. (Because we already ate our top tier… we were unable to resist… and it was delicious.)

Love the custom icing and made to order cupcakes.

My husband loves the chocolate filled cakes and the icing is amazing.

I really like the red velvet cake.

Service was amazing and very friendly. They made the creation of each cupcake as important as the last. I
We never felt rushed or hurried and my 3yo took her time selecting very patient.

[Review] Never really cared for cake until I tasted Patty’s Cakes!

I planned a 2 year engagement to give me enough time to find the perfect vendors for my special day and Patty’s cake was one of them. I got married a year ago and my guests are still talking about my cake today. I myself am not a cake person. Never really cared for it but when I test tasted Patty’s cake OMG it was de-lious! We couldn’t decide between 2 flavors because it was that good. So they were so nice and said they would do the 2 flavors together so that each guest would have a little bit of chocolate and red velvet in one slice! And the vison of my cake was EXACTLY what I had envisioned for my big day. I was so happy with the quality and service there. Patty and Phillip are the sweetest people ever too and make you super comfortable to tell them what you really want and expect. If you are the bride in looking for a cake this is the place to get it! You won’t be disappointed

Had our wedding cake made here. All of the staff was very helpful in walking us through the process, even though our cake wasn’t too big or too intricate. Patty herself went above and beyond with her customer service, making you feel welcome, and her artistic abilities. The cake was moist and delicious! It was a big hit . Would recommend going here to anyone looking for a cake for any occasion! They also delivered our cake to the corresponding restaurant that we had picked out. They were on time and set it all up for us!! Thanks again!

The place was a little hard to find, but I’m glad I did. The girl who took my order (I should’ve gotten her name) was incredibly sweet and helpful. I got a few cupcakes to surprise my coworkers, and everyone loved them. Patty’s has a great variety of flavors, and the mousse is light enough that even people who don’t like frosting really enjoyed their cupcakes.

Absolute perfection. They made a gender reveal cake for my wife and I and we could not have been happier with it. It was bigger than we expected and absolutely delicious. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly helpful, especially Bethany. We will definitely be using them in the future and will be recommending them to all of our friends.
